What a great find! We had to go to SF for something and decided to stop in at Squalo on the way home. It was such a cute spot with awesome wine choices and excellent service provided by Giselle. We opted for a bottle of the Crocker and Star Cab Frac. It was a lovely choice with our cheese board. Giselle was a peach and really knew the product they carried. We will go back!
Without a doubt the best wine bar in Marin and no question one of the best in the Bay Area. Wines are thoughtfully selected ranging from super high end "cult" wines to awesome small producers who are doing incredible things. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The cherry on top, Squalo Vino has an AWESOME quarterly wine club and throw killer pick-up parties for members. Can't recommend this place enough.

Squalo Vino is more than a wine bar. It's a place to enjoy wine of course but it's the ambience and attention, particularly from Kelly that really sets it apart. Not to say that everyone who works there isn't great! If Cheers could be reincarnated as an upscale wine bar, it would be called Squalo Vino...Love them!
