Squalo Vino is more than a wine bar. It's a place to enjoy wine of course but it's the ambience and attention, particularly from Kelly that really sets it apart. Not to say that everyone who works there isn't great! If Cheers could be reincarnated as an upscale wine bar, it would be called Squalo Vino...Love them!

Quaint and elegant! Good wine selection.The reason for three stars is customer service which was nonexistent, simply poured and left. I wanted to ask about the tumbler but both staff members were sitting down talking to each other and one of them eating, did not feel they were available for questions. We had our drink and left. Might give it another shot if staff gets customer service training.

Design- excellent.Wine excellent.Cheese excellent.Bread - Multiple days old.Service - Asked to close out minutes after we were served. Started to vacuum while we were still eating. Tried to take plates without asking and unapologetically before we were finished. If the server was so anxious to push us out early on a Thursday night, then she should have told us that she wanted to close within 20 minutes of taking our order. Disappointed.

What a great find! We had to go to SF for something and decided to stop in at Squalo on the way home. It was such a cute spot with awesome wine choices and excellent service provided by Giselle. We opted for a bottle of the Crocker and Star Cab Frac. It was a lovely choice with our cheese board. Giselle was a peach and really knew the product they carried. We will go back!

Without a doubt the best wine bar in Marin and no question one of the best in the Bay Area. Wines are thoughtfully selected ranging from super high end "cult" wines to awesome small producers who are doing incredible things. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The cherry on top, Squalo Vino has an AWESOME quarterly wine club and throw killer pick-up parties for members. Can't recommend this place enough.
What an amazing experience. Me and my friends went in for a quick glass of wine and ended up staying a long time. We tasted new and exciting wines, the cheese plate was a perfect compliment to our flights, and our servers were deeply knowledgeable about the wine. We learned a lot and had a great time. 10 out 10 would recommend!

The best local wine bar. They have a great selection of both domestic and international wines. There is always something new and fun on the menu with great snacks to pair. Kelly and Juan Carlos are awesome and always make sure we have a great time.
Best wine bar around! Love coming here for a charcuterie board and a glass of bubbles. The location is perfect - right downtown close to everything and easy to pop in before or after dinner in town. The staff is always so friendly and helpful for selecting the right glass. The perfect spot to come before or after dinner downtown!

Squalo Vino is an absolute gem! Kelly, Juan Carlos and the rest of the staff are so warm, knowledgeable, and fun. They give the best wine recommendations and are always playing fabulous music. Go enjoy a flight and snacks there and then grab a bottle of wine for later! You won’t regret it!

Ordered 3 glasses of wine. Realized shortly after we had to leave so I asked for togo cups, which she glady provided. However it wasn't until I viewed my reciept an hour later I realized they chagred me $4 per togo cup and never informed me of the fee.. Never again.

Squalo Vino is by far the best wine bar in Marin if not the entire Bay Area! Super cute location in downtown Tiburon. Perfect to stop by any time of day and for any reason. The staff are all incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about wine and helpful with selections. Whether you are a wine pro or new to wine they have something delicious and in your price range. They also host super fun events with local businesses and wineries. I would highly recommend joining their wine club or at least stopping by for a visit when in town.
