Travis Marina Bar is located on Horseshoe Bay in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It in has live music weekends. There's a dance floor and a full bar with friendly bartenders. The views of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area, Horseshoe Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco are unsurpassed. Highly recommended.
You want a dive with an amazing view?!? Go here. Go with no expectation and of anything other than dive, and you will be thrilled. If you want anything other than a very limited menu of bar food, go somewhere else first. But all s well; drinks are cheap for this area; view is amazing.

Old school - no frills bar with rustic ambiance and great views. Stayed at Cavallo Point and wandered down for a Guinness complete with a shamrock on top. Fun place - non-pretentious crowd.
