“Exceptional cuisine in the heart of Sonoma. The food is a fascinating blend of Californian and Northeast styles, reflecting the restaurant's location and the chef's roots. Execution of food and service is top-notch, with every detail carefully considered. The space is very inviting, albeit a little cramped given its location in a former house. Definitely a place to visit again and again.“

“Working lunch? Yes. What's better than spending the Friday with your vendors and enjoying lunch on carneros? The place is nice - outdoor setting but relaxed. Tons of seating and I like how there's even a play area for the kids.
The menu? It gets better. The shareable items are delightful. I had my fair share of the chicken bites and would order 3 more platters if I could. Now the entrees? Very generous. Delicious and will leave you full. I'll admit, I had a bit of a food coma after this. Can't wait to come back again and bring my family.“

“Food: Wife had the salmon special and I had a filet. We shared both. The salmon had a slight smokiness, like a cedar plank, and was absolutely delicious. The filet was good, and I enjoyed the mushroom sauce, which was not overpowering.
Service: Our server was nicely attentive, but not overly so, and I like that he confirmed every request to ensure the service was great. So, so nice!
Atmosphere: exactly what you'd expect near the Sonoma square. Casual, quiet, but modern and friendly. We saved this for the last night of our trip for a reason, and it did not disappoint.
Additional notes...the martini and Manhattan were perfectly prepared, and I appreciate the hand stuffed cocktail olives. The wine list by the glass is a bit weak, but the bottle list is solid. Our BR Cohn was as delicious as we've always remembered. Just a nice experience! Thanks!“

“We stayed at MacArthur Place for three nights and ate breakfast at Layla each morning. I came in with no expectations having not read reviews, but was completely charmed and delighted by how wonderful the staff was at both the resort and the restaurant. Very customer focused and caring. Also, every breakfast we tried was delicious: shirred eggs, oatmeal and omelet were all outstanding. I can’t comment on the lunches and dinners since we did not try those.“

“Ate there for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back. We're vegetarian but had no trouble finding incredible offerings. The mushroom/leek risotto was the best I've had. The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!“

“Karon Graham helped us with the Cloud series. Absolute white glove service. Karon was great in coordinating the delivery. After a year of debating we finally pulled the trigger and got the Cloud
modular sofa set. The ottoman is huge Very comfortable. They keep us informed on the delivery and took great care in setting up the couch, fluffing it up and even steaming it to get some of the packaging lines out. The quality of the furniture is exquisite. From sales presentation to delivery and set up expert represented the RH brand.“

“The ambiance is what drew me, the food was delicious (mini king crab rolls with caviar👌 and the Chilean sea bass were phenomenal), and the wine kept me here. It’s beautifully decorated and makes you want to cozy up on the couch and stay.“

“Hilltop is truly a treat! The views are absolutely breathtaking and create the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. The service was spectacular—friendly, attentive, and made us feel so well taken care of. Everything we ordered off the menu was fresh and delicious. Since we booked our stay through a travel agent, we also received the breakfast buffet, which was mostly pastries. They were tasty, though it would have been even better with a few more protein options. Overall, Madera is a beautiful spot with amazing food and service, and we’d definitely come back!“

“I had a wonderful birthday dinner at Farm on 8/19/26. We had a party of 7 who were all staying at the resort. Everyone enjoyed their meals! We especially loved all the farm fresh veggies and house made herb butter! I had salmon, it was perfectly cooked and a great preparation. The server did a great job and presented a bottle of champagne one of my family members ordered from out of state just for the dinner, very nice and great attention to detail.“

“We had been there multiple times through the years. This time we made reservations for Monday evening. Apparently as of Friday, two days before, they had switched to a fixed menu only of multiple courses. While they had sides, they wouldn't let us order them. Since we were fairly full, we said, we'd just split the fixed menu, but they wouldn't allow that either! A transition period? Notification that things have changed? Some level of customer service given they had just changed the way they functioned? Nope. We had to leave.“
