“I went into Solbar for a very last minute dinner and I absolutely loved everything about my experience. My friend and I are both locals and we decided to check out Solbar yesterday and we were both in awe. The decor is beautiful, the food is AMAZING, and the staff were so hospitable. “Truss and Believe 😍 • We are staying at the BEAUTIFUL Four Seasons Napa Valley and caught lunch at their restaurant Truss. Highly recommend everything we have tried over the past week but I’ll narrow down some for this post 🤭. From the views overlooking the TWO pools to the villas scattered amongst actual grape vines, everything was perfection. For bites, we got the Salmon, Truffle Fries, Tuna Crudo & Mezzi Rigatoni. Chefs kiss on everything ordered 🤌🏻 But we can’t forget about the cocktails, riiiight?! We chose Pick Me Up (tweak espressotini), Fennel Wears Prada, Smokey the Pear and Spring is Here. All superb and full of flavor 😋 • If you ever get a chance to come to Napa Valley and stay at the Four Seasons Calistoga, don’t skip out on Truss. Truss and Believe me, you won’t regret any choice here 😍“

We felt very spoiled, we never had to wait for a course or the wine paired with it, our table was promptly cleared & cleaned between courses, even fresh silverware for each course. It was awesome. Food and dessert were absolutely delicious. Each dish brought out and explained. I was impressed that if there were 6 people at a table, then 6 servers brought out each person's food so that everyone got their food at the same time & everyone could eat while their food was hot. Both my husband's & my course choices were divine, every dish was delicious. We will be going back.“

“This is the best picture I’ve taken of a meal anywhere. The food was sooooo good that I couldn’t take a “before” picture, only an “after”. This was grilled avocado. I didn’t even know one could grill an avocado, nor did I know that an avocado could be improved on. Now I know. 😋“

“We had a magical time at our wine tasting at the Saint! From beginning to end, the experience and the staff were excellent. I had accidentally booked our tasting for the wrong month, but the staff was able to quickly accommodate us anyway. The tasting was phenomenal, with four wines paired with complementary cheeses. We were looking forward to tasting some mountain wines for our last tasting of the trip, and we were blown away by the quality and depth of these wines! The tasting prices at the Saint are an absolute steal for the quality of the wines and the luxurious tasting experience.

Our wine-tasting guide, Christopher, grew up in the Napa region, and his deep knowledge of wine in general (from the vineyards to the table), and these specific wines in particular, was clear throughout our tasting. One of the things I appreciate the most about Christopher is that he is not only knowledgeable and professional, but he is also a great listener. He didn’t have a “spiel” or stiff monologue like some guides. Instead, he gave us key information as he poured each glass, answered our many questions, and talked with us about the nose and palate of the wines we tasted. His great listening was evident when he was able to respond to specific comments and make tailored recommendations based on the tasting notes we liked the most. We ended up going “off road” to try some different wines on his recommendations, including some incredible Night Wines (from a small-production, very high-elevation winery which I believe is owned by some of the same people who own the Saint—if you are in the bar, definitely try their wines!). Our group was very slow—we take a lot of notes and take our time smelling and tasting—but Christopher was very relaxed. He adapted to our pace and reassured us that we could take our time, which made the experience even more luxurious. When the wine started to go to our heads and we asked if there was any way if we could order an unplanned cheese tray, Christopher and other staff members quickly put together a beautiful platter for us with nuts, cheeses, crackers, and herbs. They were even able to provide some homemade gluten-free crackers when I let them know about my allergy. At the end of the tasting, we ended up buying several bottles, some of which we plan to put away in our cellar and are very excited to open someday.

I would highly recommend the Saint to anyone who is visiting the region and wants to try some top-notch, complex, highly structured mountain wines without driving up the mountain itself! Thank you to Christopher and everyone at the Saint who helped give us such an amazing experience!“

“Eddie's kitchen, the food was excellent. I had chicken alfredo and a desert to die for. It was the chef favorite dessert. Eddie Jr. was very polite and very knowledgeable about the items on the menu. I love Eddie's kitchen. I will go there again if ever in Santa Rosa.“

“Great little pub with fun happy hour drinks + quality HH food for a sweet price. The service is awesome- ask for Talia, and the bartender Jessie makes a perfect old fashioned! The well bourbon they use for it is Buffalo Trace which is included on the HH price. YAY! The tacos are tasty and big enough to share. Add some guac and fries with their trio dipping sauces, you'll definitely be leaving happy and your wallet too!“

“Justin makes the best beverages! Quality, organic, sweet cafe with mother/son duo. It feels homey even when they see many different people everyday. Would wish there’d be indoor and warmer seating, but that’s the only con. The drinks are worth the extra minute wait.“

“Shout out to Chris the manager who went out of his way to accommodate us. We are Hyatt members and thought we could use our club access awards. Unfortunately this particular restaurant is its own identity and therefore they don’t allow you to use the awards. Chris however made an exception and allowed us to use them.
