Grew up in the area and am rediscovering places to enjoy that I wouldn't have considered before. Saw something on social media about a guest chef serving spicy fried chicken, so I had to check it out. The restaurant is cute, mid-century inspired, with a nice view of the pool and hills behind the hotel. We ordered from both the guest chef and the regular menu. We ordered the chicken and waffles on their pop up menu. The chicken was very dry and the waffles were like hockey pucks, very hard and we could not eat it. It seems like they overcooked it and left it in the waffle maker.

Magic mushrooms were delicious. Our server Dominic was the best, very friendly and making well informed recommendations. We wish the pork and duck in our dishes were a bit more juicy. My partner had the Pork Plancha and I had the Duck Carnitas Tacos. Drinks were creative and delicious. At the end of the day the menu items at Lazeaway club are creatively done while still wonderfully combining flavors.
