Eric was also equally amazing and on top of his stuff making sure our water was always full. The drink sommelier was wonderful when she brought out our champagne. Would always recommend this place. It really is the best place to eat in Calistoga.“

“Awesome ice cream place, a life saver in Napa heat during summer. The ice-cream felt natural, homemade with no artificial flavours. We tried pistachio (amazing taste & texture), rose, cardamom & saffron (heavenly, a nearby cousin of Indian malai kulfi) and cookie chocolate (kids loved it) ice-creams. The servers were patient and polite. One can also taste the ice-cream before ordering one.“

“We had a wonderful dinner there. Great menu, good wine selection, wonderful service. We shared arancini balls for an appetizer, a fantastic Napa salad with candied walnuts, apples and blue cheese, and then a Thai chicken pizza. We would get each one of these items a second time! It is our understanding they reopened with a new menu in March 2025. We were here in June and the menu is great. Definitely would recommend Palisades Eatery.“

Having lived in Seattle for many years, Thai restaurants are a dime a dozen, and I was introduced to Drunken Noodles. I highly recommend that dish as well as their mango dessert is spectacular!“

“When we come to Calistoga, we always stop here. The food is good, the atmosphere is great. We love that they have live music. When we were there, there was an excellent jazz guitarist.

I had a smoked salmon sandwich with salad and my husband had a burger and fries.

The beer selection is wide, and we're always able to find something we like.“

“Food and staff were amazing! I got the braised short rib and it was absolutely delicious. The presentation was lovely and every part of the meal was tasty. The beef was so tender and the reduction sauce was heavenly.

To make it even better, the chef came out to ask how it was. He braises it for 18 hours! Talk about a labor of love. Every bite showed that love for the dish too! Each of my companions tasted some and thought it was fantastic.“
