“We had a great prix fixe meal of 3 courses but the also offer 5 courses. No bad selections except for the cauliflower steak. I don’t think that is worth a steak or shrimp pasta but that is my opinion. Outdoor dining is available and they have heaters by the wall of sliding windows that open up totally he outside. Awesome deserts. I had the cookie butter cheesecake. I died and went to heaven.“

“I went to Acorn Cafe expecting a nice, responsible lunch. I left in a food coma, questioning every healthy choice I’ve ever made, and honestly? Zero regrets.
The place has serious range — breakfast, brunch, lunch, indoor seating, outdoor seating with an actual fireplace (fancy), and a friendly & professional staff.
I ordered the fried chicken sandwich against my better judgment — I usually treat deep-fried anything like a suspicious email attachment — and it was a full personality shift. Absolutely delicious. It came with homemade togarashi potato chips, which is not a combination I asked for but is one I will now demand for the rest of my life.
My dining companion got the breakfast burger, which somehow contains an egg AND hash browns INSIDE the burger, like the chef looked at breakfast and lunch and said “why not both, simultaneously, in your hand.” Perfection. Structurally impressive. Emotionally overwhelming.
The turkey clubhouse club also showed up and showed out — and bonus, some proceeds go to the local Boys & Girls Club, so you can feel slightly virtuous while inhaling bacon.

Verdict: We’re going back. We have breakfast entrees left to conquer, and frankly, I think Acorn Cafe has earned the right to ruin more of my meals.“

I wouldn’t normally get so excited about a sandwich, but these were exceptional in their taste and presentation—plenty of fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers that seemed to come straight out of a garden. The salsa inside? So good I considered taking it home and introducing it to my family. My son ordered the happy hour cheese quesadilla, which came out perfectly toasted—crispy golden edges, soft cheesy center. Basically a work of art Picasso wishes he painted. Then we shared the habanero wings, which came with a medley of tomatoes and sliced cucumbers so fancy it felt like they were auditioning for a cooking show. The dressing? Absolutely delicious. The ingredients were so fresh and grown locally. Also had some of the best biscuits and sausage gravy ever!! We tried several scones. AMAZING. He told us the farm where the blackberries came from that were in the scones. We got banana nut and blueberry muffins as well. Other places (even Salt n Straw), make it too creamy and sugary. You really don’t get better ice cream than Nimble and Finn’s. I had the vanilla, coffee single scoop split.
