“I order the mini burger with a fried egg and It’s delicious! Garlic fries are excellent and the burgers are cooked and seasoned well. A bit pricey, but they offer a discount for local businesses and it covers the tax. Overall, a solid burger joint with nice atmosphere.“
“Too busy to have our usual Burger Friday, so we did Burger Saturday. Haven't been here for a few years since the new owners took over from JJ's. I had the single (pepper Jack) cheeseburger with mayo and pickles, and my husband had a single classic burger with mayo, lettuce, onion, and tomato. Both burgers were excellent, very flavorful, and arrived quickly. Next time I would order mine medium rare though. Their default setting seems to be medium which is how my husband likes his. He also had fries and a chocolate shake. The fries were exceptional - crispy and salty. His milkshake got a thumbs up. Super nice people behind the counter. The perfect burger place, nothing fancy, just good. Prices are reasonable too. We'll be back!“

“This is a nice place to eat at, It is located in a mall with plenty of parking. The menu has a wide variety of food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They have very good Omelettes and Eggs Benedict. Most everything on their menu is good. The service is friendly too. Prices may be a little higher than other places, but they are worth it.“

“When we lived in the City, we'd go to Perry's on Union Street for burgers and the jolly, friendly atmosphere. Moving to Marin we'd go to Perry's in Larkspur occasionally; we were not eating out as much then with a young family but always enjoyed it when we did.Retiring in W Marin our eating out is primarily in Petaluma and I've been meaning to try Perry's in Novato ever since I read about its opening.With its central location and Perry's reputation it seemed a good choice for lunch with an old friend. We were not disappointed; a little tricky to find, the place has the full Perry's style with white tiled floor in the bar, mahogany furniture, friendly attentive service.We were seated in the back room with a high ceiling and looking out onto a hillside. Convivial atmosphere,busy with several large group tables. Perry himself came over to say hello and was unhurriedly working the room; a nice touch. His daughter who works there also came by.For me the food at Perry's is ok, not special and so it was that day. I had fish & chips and my friend a chicken salad.It was however the perfect rainy day to linger over lunch and enjoy the atmosphere.“
“Wow! this is a great place to eat. Its' menu is packed with flavorful dishes. Don't sleep on the fish and chips. It is anything but basic. Beso is also a great place for outdoor dinning. The restaurant has frequently won the Taste of Marin Award. After you eat there you will see why. Oh, I also hear that they have a good wine selection. When you go don't forget to say hello to the owner. Yes it is one of those places where you are welcomed as if it is someone's home to sit down and sit a spell to visit for awhile.“

We coordinated with a West Marin relative to meet for lunch, and Moylan's was her pick: easy freeway access, plentiful parking, lots of varied menu options. Unfortunately, as we had a long drive home ahead of us, we weren't able to fully partake of the plentiful and diverse beer menu, but our server gave me a sample of Dragoon's Dry Irish Stout (so delicious) as well as San Quentin's Breakout Stout (smoother, more chocolaty, but a second-choice for me). Our server was attentive (didn't keep bugging us about ordering since we clearly were talking, then talking with each other ABOUT what we MIGHT order) and settled in as he saw we were ready to order. Friendly service, accurate, attentive. The food came out much more quickly than I had anticipated, and was all hot and tasty. Blue cheese burgers (one with TRULY garlicky garlic fries, the other with proper beer-battered onion rings - none of that crumbly stuff), and one lamb stew with a side of bread and butter. All three of us came away satiated, happy with our food, and having shared bites of each others because it all looked so tempting! Looking forward to returning for a brewer focused meal on a day with a more open schedule and no driving required.“
“It was our first meal out (January 6) after the new year and decided to come to Blacksteer for our dinner. We actually had a very nice grand meal that felt quite decadent. We dined on their rib eye steak, shared some New England clam Chowder, had their Crab & Mozzarella hush puppies, oysters Rockafeller, and their Bordenave's sourdough bread with garlic. It was all very delicious! We sat at a booth across from the bar and our server was super kind and very patient despite how crazy full and busy the restaurant was that night. We love the new renovations and the ambience and it felt like a very lively happening place to be in Novato for a Saturday night. We will certainly be back to enjoy more meals.“
“We had brunch here today as a large party and could not have asked for better service. I contacted them ahead of time and they were quick to respond. We were seated right away and all the food was brought to the table at the same time-which is not easy to to do for a party our size. The food/service was great and we didn't feel rushed. My mom was also given a birthday gift which was very thoughtful of them. I would definitely recommend coming here!“
“1st time... but definitely not the last.I have never noticed so many people at a small restaurant at 10 am. on a weekday.So I grabbed a table outside, and to my surprise, I was immediately handed a menu with a friendly smile and asked if I wanted something to drink. I requested coffee..and despite being very busy, my cup was never allowed to go empty. I ordered th Marvin'sScramble....and was blown away....it was awesome. I can't wait to go back..... Great food with friendly service still exists!!!“
