“We had a staff lunch at Perry's in Novato yesterday. It was delicious! Three of the four of us got the grilled salmon, each with a different vegetable and everyone declared how delicious their meal was. The fourth got crab cakes and greens along with sweet potato fries for the table. It was perfect, delicious, with a generous amount of salad for an appetizer dish. The two crab cakes were moist, crispy and delicious, too. Our server was skilled, knowledgeable, kind and had a good sense of humor, too! Lunch on Tuesday wasn't packed, although we had a reservation. There wasn't any difficulty hearing each other, either, as the noise level was very reasonable. It was an altogether delightful lunch!“

“We finally made our first visit to the new Star Restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. I had the mixed BBQ plate with beef, chicken, pork, and chorizo, everything on the plate was delicious especially the chorizo which I normally dislike. We look forward to coming back or ordering takeout.“

“We enjoyed a wonderful Father’s Day dinner! Ryan was very kind, attentive, and enjoyable as he waited on my family. The rib eye steaks were perfectly cooked medium rare as we requested and the chef made a minor change to our menu due to our dietary needs without issue. The fresh bread smelled heavenly and was quickly devoured! We will be back!“

“It's not often I express sincere pleasure in a meal but this place certainly deserves it. My grilled salmon was fantastic. I had one of those moments where you close your eyes and just savour the meal. My pavlova made me want to lick the plate clean. The service has been wonderful and friendly. “This one is long overdue. I’ve been going to this restaurant for a few years; whenever I am in the area. I like their selection of beer. There are a few standards like the Kiltlifter along with a handful of seasonal offerings. I usually go around lunch time or a little later and I usually sit at the bar. There are several television sets so if you are a sports nut, there is likely something on for you to watch. I order the Ruben sandwich and it’s massive enough to have a second meal off of. I have come to know several of the staff members and so it’s always a little more relaxed and laid back. Moylans is a solid restaurant and brewery and has enough to offer a variety of folks. No, not “true” vegan but there are a few vegetarian options on the menu.“

“Quiet atmosphere. I ordered a salmon plate and it was not cooked very well however I did order it in the morning so it's possible the cook was not used to cooking it. Service wasnt terrible. She was quick to check on us and mostly left us on our own and placed us in a quiet area which was totally fine with us because it fit the day we were having.

Bathroom stalls are very cramped with barely leg space to get around the stall door to allow it to close. This is the overall reason for the reduced star.
