Wow! this is a great place to eat. Its' menu is packed with flavorful dishes. Don't sleep on the fish and chips. It is anything but basic. Beso is also a great place for outdoor dinning. The restaurant has frequently won the Taste of Marin Award. After you eat there you will see why. Oh, I also hear that they have a good wine selection. Love the outdoor patio on warm days. They serve a great burger and generally good portions of well prepared foods. Do take care to ask about costs related to specials. Recently someone in our party ordered a crab Louie special. It was nice but resulted in a charge of $39!

Beso is an interesting place. Good service, very kind and attentive Food: so-so. My friends spinach salad was yummy. I had the chowder--it was full of onions but not many potatoes or clams and was quite bland and thin---!; ceviche which was equally bland. Almost tasteless. Great fresh chips accompanied it. Drinks: a very small list by the glass that is pretty mundane. A few beers on tap. I had hoped for better food.
