“Despite the facade and general exterior surroundings, this place rocks. Great menu, great service, and no windows so you can leave the outside world and strip mall parking lot behind.”
“Thank you to Tien and team for a wonderful breakfast and even better service! You were so accommodating to our daughter’s allergy and we felt so well taken care of. Even our dog had her own water dish. We’re so glad you’re part of the Novato community!”

“Of all of our favorite places to eat, this is one my wife and I count as the very top tier.
The service is always excellent. We've never asked for anything to not receive it or have the item forgotten about, they are always quick to accommodate, and every person who works here is friendly and well mannered.
As for the food, it is the best sushi I've ever had next to Bamboo in Portland (and still, I think I prefer Sushi Tri). When we're travelling, we now frequently overlook sushi places simply because the fear is that we will just miss what we get at Sushi Tri.
We are creatures of habit, so usually, we order any combination of the pork gyoza, the California hand rolls, the King Dragon Roll, the Mount Fuji Roll, and the spicy tuna tacos. More often than not, we will order all of these things, if we aren't trying something new, and often, we'll walk out considering coming right back in for more in a disguise, so we don't look as shameful as we feel wanting more when we're full (but looking ridiculous isn't off the table). Their ramen is also fantastic, and among my favorites.
The dining area is always spotless, and is very comfortable. If you're worried about missing an important game when having dinner out, they've got that covered, too. We've never had too much trouble getting a seat here, but it does get busy, because it is, indeed, the best.
We recommend Sushi Tri to literally anyone who comes into Marin.”

“WOW!!!!
My top 3 pizza places of all time.....
Food was incredible!!! Service was second to none.
I live in Las Vegas and am here for work.
Stopped in and met the owner upon entering...
Nice as could be, explained the lunch specials and I was eating a beautiful cold crisp Ceasr salad with 2 slices of incredibly delicious pepperoni pizza...
This place is super clean, and just an overall solid vibe for a Wed afternoon......
You can tell the owner loves his customers and cares about his food as well..
I was sitting at the bar for about and hour. There were at least 3 different occasions, the door would open and people would come in, just to say Hi.
Absolutely amazing people, food and I will %100 be back to enjoy another bomb, lunch...”
“Next to lucky market off seventh and Grant Avenue downtown Novato. Family owned deli that has served Bay Area for years with catering , too.
It’s little Italy in Novato. Anything in refrigeration pasta is amazing. Imported Italian treats and oils. Fresh coffee is amazing. Great old school feel. My salami sandwich is a tradition .”
“Food was really good and the wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Cute place. Good idea for decorations”
“Wonderful dining experience. The food, service and ambiance was outstanding. What a jewel on the hill.”

“The pizza was good — not amazing, but solid — and the ranch dressing was incredible. We popped in because The Village had a 45-minute wait and got seated right away, which was a win. Lots of TVs, so we could watch both the MLB playoffs and college football, and our server was genuinely great — friendly and helpful. That said, it definitely leans more toward an adult vibe. Even though there’s an arcade, the prices are a bit steep ($17 for a kid’s spaghetti and one meatball). And the playlist? Let’s just say it was giving “bow chicka bow wow late-night R&B” energy — not exactly the soundtrack I expected for family pizza night at 6:30 p.m on a Saturday. We’ll probably go back, but next time, maybe earlier in the day when hopefully it’s more family-friendly.”
“Stefano's Pizza
Stefano's Pizza absolutely deserves a 5-star review for its consistently delicious pizza and welcoming atmosphere. From the first bite, you can tell the ingredients are fresh and the recipes are made with real care. The crust is perfectly baked—crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside—and the toppings are always generous and well-balanced.
The menu offers plenty of great choices, from classic favorites to specialty pizzas, all made fresh and served hot. Every order feels satisfying and full of flavor, making it a reliable go-to for pizza lovers.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Excellent experience at FBI BURGERS! The burgers were incredibly juicy, fresh, and packed with bold flavor in every bite. The ingredients tasted high-quality and everything was cooked perfectly to order.
The atmosphere was casual, clean, and welcoming—great for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends and family. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
A must-visit spot in Novato for anyone craving seriously good burgers and great value!”
“A “Must Stop” for lunch! The best sourdough bread I’ve ever had. Wanted to go back and just order a bunch of bread to take home and spoil the family. The perfect crispy crust and then soft chew center with lots of wonderful savory sourness. I had the Ham & Pastrami. Perfect fresh ingredients. Everything you want in a deli sandwich at a reasonable price. Lots of selections so I’m heading back for future yummy bites. Excellent personal service.”
“Good beer, tasty food and live music...what's not to love? Can't wait to get back in!”

“I happened upon Bliss after their ownership change on the way to my parents and it was fantastic. Super friendly staff who walked me and my kids through different flavors, gave us samples, and told us all about their ice cream drinks which we are going to try on our next visit! Definitely stop by when passing through Novato, it’s a great local spot!”
“I've lived in Novato for six years. I've tried several Chinese restaurants and haven't been impressed. I've resorted to driving down to Ping's in Northgate One. That all changed today when I stopped at China Village in the San Marin Plaza. They know their stuff! Everything was flavorful and delicious. I'll be back!”
“The spicy beef and pork pho heat turned down is my favorite. The potstickers are back to corte madera level. Prices are very fair. My daughter makes ua come up 20’mins north and its still worth it. A nice jewel on Grant Ave to enjoy. The Lychee Pork (or Chicken) and the Fish Pot are also fantastic.”
“Seriously is there a 12 Step Group available for your cookies? I’m addicted! As I live outside Seattle I haven’t as yet visited your delicious bakery, but believe me I’m doing my part by consuming the boxes of cookies stocked by #townandcountrymarketbainbridge Yummy🥰”
“This restaurant is so clean inside, The staff is super friendly and attentive. Our drinks never ran empty and were filled without having to ask. The food tasted fresh and my pancakes were nice and fluffy. I had a great experience and will visit again next time im in California. Kudos to the Manager and staff.”

“The old rusty gas pumps out front are of the now defunct Flying A gasoline brand. They were a major fixture in early American car culture, being prominent along the early cross country highways, including The Mother Road, Route 66. The movie “Cars” and its sequels also contain some hidden references to Flying A if you know where to freeze frame.”
“Compact setting with comfortable seating at 7-8 tables. Latin soccer and entertainment news on overhead TV. Attentive service. Free salsa. Jamaica, and orchata with usual drinks and Mexican beer. I like the street tacos. Variety of Mexican ingredients to replicate a trip to Yucatan.”
“I dropped off the Airstream for an up and coming Clam Lickers LBG RV show coming up next week to pay homage to the late Amelia Earhart, one of the founders of the Clam Lickers Society LLC. It was one of my neighbors that talked me into loaning out my Airstream, and its for a good cause...I think, so it is okay by me. And...The Best part of this whole thing was the great sandwiches from the Belli Deli...5 ☆☆☆☆☆'s all day long!”
“I ordered three Taco Bell Supremes tacos. That was hardly any sour cream or cheese. It was mostly lettuce and a few tomatoes. I don't think that's what I expected but that's what I got. I hope that's coming across clear because it was edible but not what I expected to order after paying $16 for the meal”
“I enjoy the vintage oaks starbucks because it has great carmel frappachino's. I really appreciate the chance to sit down and rest my feet. I usually stop by there before I go shopping or afterwards. It is also cool and very peaceful and quiet all the times that I have been there. ☺”
“PROTECT THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. THIS IS A NOVATO STAPLE, A HISTORICAL LANDMARK, AN ICONIC TAKE OUT TO GO FOOD FOR EVERY SUPERBOWL AND AFTER PARTY! THIS PLACE HAS BEEN HERE BEFORE THE AGE OF SMART PHONES. OBW FOREVER!!
Parking: Please consider the market and two other establishments but there is plenty of parking out front.
Kid-friendliness: Yes, very kid friendly. Lots of grass across the parking lot for kids to run around (supervised) as it is in the middle of a parking lot and a busy street.”
“Made a lunch stop with good friends. We had the restaurant almost to ourselves. Great decor and great service. I’ll be sure to go back if I’m ever in Novato!!”
“I absolutely love this place! Friendly service and the restaurant is very clean. I feel like the food is a bargain for the bay area. The pupusas are wonderful. Also, their breakfast is very good. Diner food but with a little Latin twist.”
“We had an incredible lunch here. The restaurant is kind of hidden in a strip mall, but worth the journey. The most flavorful tikka masala we've ever had and perfectly spiced saag. Butter naan, rice, and raita was fresh too. Can't wait to try more next time!”
“What a gem. Nice little place at the old Hamilton airfield in Novato. Pleasant outdoor seating. Very tasty Peruvian beef stew and Pavlova with cream and strawberries”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Excellent experience at Blue Barn Novato! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, with high-quality ingredients that truly stand out. Every bite felt wholesome and satisfying, especially the signature salads and sandwiches.
The atmosphere was clean, modern, and relaxed—perfect for a quick lunch or a casual healthy meal. The staff was friendly, efficient, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
A fantastic spot in Novato for fresh, healthy, and delicious food done right!”
“Taqueria Mi Pueblo III was a nice stop for lunch after almost three years. I was in the mood for a drink, so I ordered a margarita, and we shared a guacamole dip to start. Both were enjoyable, though the guacamole was just a bit saltier than I would have preferred. Still, it hit the spot and was a good way to kick off the meal.
For the main course, I went with the carne asada plate, while my significant other ordered a meat quesadilla. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying, with solid portion sizes. It was a warm Sunday, so we chose to sit outside, which made for a relaxed and comfortable dining experience.
The service really stood out. The ladies who took our order and served us were friendly and attentive, and a young man helping with the tables kept everything moving smoothly. Overall, it was a pleasant, easygoing meal with good food and welcoming service, definitely a place we’d return to.”
“Every time I'm in town I make sure to hit China Palace at least once, but if I'm being honest I would go there as many times as my family will let me! The Mongolian beef is an abundant portion and some of the best I've had. Super tender, tons of flavor. If you want to feel like you've had your veggies, pair the Mongolian beef with mu shu vegetables. They're super fresh, a nice little crunch and also an abundant portion (that will last you a couple days for lunch after!). This is my favorite combo, but honestly I've never had anything I didn't thoroughly enjoy here!”
