“A “Must Stop” for lunch! The best sourdough bread I’ve ever had. Wanted to go back and just order a bunch of bread to take home and spoil the family. The perfect crispy crust and then soft chew center with lots of wonderful savory sourness. I had the Ham & Pastrami. Perfect fresh ingredients. Everything you want in a deli sandwich at a reasonable price. Lots of selections so I’m heading back for future yummy bites. Excellent personal service.”

Some of the best Indian/Goan food I’ve had in the states, if you’re searching for a transcendent state-get the Caldine curry. If the food wasn’t enough, the service and vibes are also spectacular. Can’t wait to go back to Novato to eat here again, til then I’ll be dreaming about that curry.”

Totally enjoyed my breakfast burrito filled with chorizo, potato, etc (as they ran out of the Denver scramble). Flaky tortilla wrapper, toasted nicely, served with a container of salsa. Also had a coffee with 2 shots added, also tasty. I hope I didn't overdo it but I usually find the average American coffee a bit weak.”

“Love this place! We've been here a handful of times now for burritos and they have been consistently delicious. The burritos are well balanced with plenty of meat, the rice and beans are terrific. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great especially this time of year the outdoor patio area is just beautiful. So far we have only had take out, but will definitely make time to dine in soon. Also, the owner and staff are extremely friendly. Really happy to have Sabor de Mexico in the neighborhood and look forward to exploring more of the menu.”

“This place is a long time Novato staple. My last visit started off with a friendly greeting from the hostess who led us to our seats. We decided to order glasses of wine versus a bottle for pairing with our dishes. The evening started with a delicious burrata with crostini. I enjoyed the chicken parm with pasta on the side. This is one of my favorite Italian dishes and this one performed above expectations. The chicken was tender and pounded thin while not being over breaded. Thanks, Chianti, for a delicious evening.”

“The pizza was good — not amazing, but solid — and the ranch dressing was incredible. We popped in because The Village had a 45-minute wait and got seated right away, which was a win. Lots of TVs, so we could watch both the MLB playoffs and college football, and our server was genuinely great — friendly and helpful. That said, it definitely leans more toward an adult vibe. Even though there’s an arcade, the prices are a bit steep ($17 for a kid’s spaghetti and one meatball). And the playlist? Let’s just say it was giving “bow chicka bow wow late-night R&B” energy — not exactly the soundtrack I expected for family pizza night at 6:30 p.m on a Saturday. We’ll probably go back, but next time, maybe earlier in the day when hopefully it’s more family-friendly.”

The menu offers plenty of great choices, from classic favorites to specialty pizzas, all made fresh and served hot. Every order feels satisfying and full of flavor, making it a reliable go-to for pizza lovers.”

“I doordashed some food from here because I was craving some fresh spring rolls. I was hesitant to order from here as I had never eaten here before, but the fresh spring rolls were some of the best I’ve ever ordered. I usually make them myself, but I didn’t have the correct ingredients. The sweet-and-sour chicken was also delicious. My kids enjoyed it. And I tried the passionfruit Smoothie it was also refreshing and very fruity not fake or Super Sugary. Overall, I would give this a 10 out of 10 and I will definitely be ordering again”

“We’re longtime guests of the Novato IHOP, and we still come back to it after we moved out of the immediate area. Simply put, it’s the most consistent, quality dining experience in our experience in this area, from being seated and served, to the food itself. There are not-so-subtle differences between different IHOPs, and this one has always been extremely well managed and run - even during COVID and beyond, when the entire dining out landscape was thrown into turmoil.

Highlights (for us), foodwise:
Cheesesteak Stacker, any pancakes with fruit (IHOP is, still in our opinion, the reigning pancake kings), the burgers (which exist on the same level as other “gourmet” burgers), and the breakfast tacos.

I want to again call out management and service, because the team here moves with urgency - Lupita, Elvia, Ashley and the rest of the team are simply without peer in the waitstaff realm, and team collectively has easily 100+ years of hospitality experience. That’s next to impossible to find in a chain restaurant, and combined with how consistently the kitchen cranks out quality casual dining food, the experience here exceeds what we would have ever expected. Thus - the frequent returns!”

“Best sandwiches in California. The tri tip is the best when your looking for a hot sandwich and the meatball sandwich is so good. All the sandwiches are soo good. The portions, price, flavors, size and quality are all extremely favorable. The olives and especially the shooters are so good too!”

“A lovely dinner at Beso. It's an unusual location, situated as it is on Hamilton base. The food is delicious, and the service was very attentive. My friend and I sat out on the deck and it was a beautiful evening.

We thought it was going to be a standard ice cream shop with some vegan options but instead it’s more like a vegan shop with some dairy options. It was amazing and everything we tried was top notch. “I had a great experience today. First time in Novato. I tried the Steak, egg, and cheese bagel meal. It was perfect. Loved it. The only issue I had was the Dr. Pepper must have been mixed up with the Diet Dr. Pepper by mistake and the lids didnt fit the cup.”

“I was late to pick up my order. The guy at the Informed me that my fries have gotten stale. Instead of letting me walk away with my order. He remade fresh fries, right then and there. No questions asked. It was getting late and the fact he insisted shows me the integrity of this service. He needs a raise ASAP!”

Ordered from the guy in the truck and he brought the food out and brought some salsa too. The place is near the middle of the street, not on the corner as Google maps has it. But you can easily spot it by the big flag. For me, better than a bunch of the brick and mortar places around town.”

“Pleasantly surprised, wow. My husband wanted to go have this for dinner and I was dragging my feet, 🥲 but it was actually goooood... The chicken is flavorful and so tender, wow (how do they do that?!). We had a mild tender chicken Sando Combo and 5 Chicken tenders with mild sauce, both were good and edible for a softy like me. Coleslaw and chicken were both a bit low on salt, but nothing that couldn't be solved by just sprinkling some on top.

I didn't particularly like the paprika on the potatoes, it just tasted like paprika and it turned me off, but my husband liked it, I just dunked them in the pink sauce they brought and that solved that problem 🙃.”
