Chao Praya is a consistently amazing Thai restaurant in Novato. The food is excellent, with dishes like the Pho, duck egg noodle soup, and shrimp pad thai standing out. The beef pho, with sliced beef and meatballs, was flavorful and better than some Vietnamese restaurants. The fried Pampano fish was fried to perfection and highly recommended. The menu is large and offers great value for the price, with fast service. Dishes like the Tom Kha Kai soup, Thai samosa appetizers, Moo Kra-Thiam grilled pork, and Chao Praya noodles are all delicious. The green curry in the noodles was rich, but some missed having more vegetables. Overall, Chao Praya impresses with its food quality, friendly service, and elegant Thai decor.
