“Only popped in for a quick coffee during our drive but had to right a review! I got a dirty chai and it was MAGICAL!!! Absolutely delicious! My boyfriend got a black coffee and it was very good as well! Great place to stop for coffee! Didn't get a chance to try the food - next time! :)“

Nice as could be, explained the lunch specials and I was eating a beautiful cold crisp Ceasr salad with 2 slices of incredibly delicious pepperoni pizza...

You can tell the owner loves his customers and cares about his food as well..
I was sitting at the bar for about and hour. There were at least 3 different occasions, the door would open and people would come in, just to say Hi.

“JUST GO, stop looking at other dinner options and just go to Little Goan—you will not be disappointed. Some of the best Indian/Goan food I’ve had in the states, if you’re searching for a transcendent state-get the Caldine curry. If the food wasn’t enough, the service and vibes are also spectacular. Can’t wait to go back to Novato to eat here again, til then I’ll be dreaming about that curry.“

“Visited less than an hour before closed. Still the lady was very kind and food out fast. We were all cold and tired. The soup is mild and delicious, food quantify is enough and fresh. It is not authentic Vietnamese still good to have for Pho lovers. It is in old town and the overall atmosphere is cozy and comfortable and clean.“

“Absolutely loved the food at Active Culture! They have so many vegetarian and vegan options, and everything tastes super fresh and flavorful. Their OG house sauce is honestly one of the best sauces I’ve ever tasted — it ties everything together perfectly. Definitely recommend trying their bowls and tacos, both were amazing. Can’t wait to come back!“

“I've lived in Novato for six years. I've tried several Chinese restaurants and haven't been impressed. I've resorted to driving down to Ping's in Northgate One. That all changed today when I stopped at China Village in the San Marin Plaza. They know their stuff! Everything was flavorful and delicious. I'll be back!“

“Compact setting with comfortable seating at 7-8 tables. Latin soccer and entertainment news on overhead TV. Attentive service. Free salsa. Jamaica, and orchata with usual drinks and Mexican beer. I like the street tacos. Variety of Mexican ingredients to replicate a trip to Yucatan.“

“By my personal experience I do not understand the 3.8 star rating. The service is great...in the evenings anyway. The food in the trays may sometimes need refreshing but the staff is always accommodating to make it fresh. I didn't give the food a 5 because let's face it...pre-made food is never as good as everything fresh to order but the food is tasty and let us not forget we are not at a sit down restaurant.. once again the staff has been great!“

“Of all of our favorite places to eat, this is one my wife and I count as the very top tier.
The service is always excellent. We've never asked for anything to not receive it or have the item forgotten about, they are always quick to accommodate, and every person who works here is friendly and well mannered.
As for the food, it is the best sushi I've ever had next to Bamboo in Portland (and still, I think I prefer Sushi Tri). When we're travelling, we now frequently overlook sushi places simply because the fear is that we will just miss what we get at Sushi Tri.
We are creatures of habit, so usually, we order any combination of the pork gyoza, the California hand rolls, the King Dragon Roll, the Mount Fuji Roll, and the spicy tuna tacos. More often than not, we will order all of these things, if we aren't trying something new, and often, we'll walk out considering coming right back in for more in a disguise, so we don't look as shameful as we feel wanting more when we're full (but looking ridiculous isn't off the table). Their ramen is also fantastic, and among my favorites.
The dining area is always spotless, and is very comfortable. If you're worried about missing an important game when having dinner out, they've got that covered, too. We've never had too much trouble getting a seat here, but it does get busy, because it is, indeed, the best.
We recommend Sushi Tri to literally anyone who comes into Marin.“
