“New Delhi has hands down the best Indian food in Marin IMHO, great for vegetarians! Service is friendly and delightful , and the food is excellent, with each dish having a unique flavor profile. Lunch buffet often has more unusual seasonal dishes, as well as the classics. Buffet is an incredible deal with lots of dishes, Chai, salad, samosas and pakoras, pickles and dessert all included, and delicious. Did I mention that prices are really reasonable? What's not to like?“

“My husband and I came here for breakfast before our hike in Muir Woods. Husband got the huevos rancheros with house potatoes which was really good! I got the Mexican scramble with hash browns and I think this was literally the best omelette I’ve ever had. I was so full for hours afterwards (and yes, even after the hike I barely had any room for anything else). Would highly recommend!

“Before today I was certain that there were no good Vietnamese restaurants in Marin. Then I tried Pho. What a find.

Very simple basic menu, but everything was perfect. Flavorful, fresh, generously sized, good service. Everything was right. We are talking San Francisco - San Jose level of excellence for Vietnamese food. I used to think you had to go to the City to find great Vietnamese food, But now we have it local here in San Rafael. The other Vietnamese restaurants around town can't even compare. This restaurant is now on my short list. Coming back. Five star.“

“I love Saigon Village and have been coming with my vegan family for years. They have so many options with fake meats, and vegetable broth for pho. The owners are very sweet and can make modifications for almost everything on the menu. “I have been twice so far and both time the food was - delicious! Everything we ordered was good especially the chicken satay, fresh rolls, pad Thai, green curry and mango sticky rice. The people who work there went above and beyond. We called about coming in close to closing with the family, they insisted we come in and that they were genuinely happy to have us. We felt so welcome both times. Will keep coming back!“

“This place was excellent! A little hole in the wall right off of the 101. Me and my husband were driving home late from SF and wanted to grab a bite to eat on the way home. This place is open until 130 in the morning, so makes a great late night option. The crust is made of sourdough and is the perfect amount of crispy and chewy. The sauce was tangy and rich and the toppings tasted fresh. Overall 10/10. The atmosphere wasn't anything to write home about but the food and the guy making the pizzas were excellent and made the hole in the wall vibe. Will go again the next time I'm driving out of the city late at night.“

“The lady works there always been very nice to me. She is attentive. Regarding the food, I think their kabobs could be better. Last time also I felt like both kabobs and joojeh needed to cook more. But I’m from Iran so we may be more picky about our food. Also for Shirazi salad needs sour grape juice (Ab ghooreh) and mine came with olive oil I think. The portion is very generous.“

We were welcomed warmly, our table was beautifully set, and the staff had noted the occasion when I booked — which meant little thoughtful touches throughout the evening without ever being over the top. The food was the real highlight. Each course was a proper step up, with portions generous enough to satisfy and presentation lovely enough to feel like a special meal. Our server's wine pairings were spot on. The bill was very fair given the whole experience. Already locked in as next year's anniversary spot. Genuinely lovely.“

“Good Food and great service. We had a group of 12 and service was great. Saturday afternoon is a great time to visit. Off the Main Street so not too crazy. Laid back service, but efficient. Waiters Always attentive with the Bread and Water.

Food Good. Calamari Appetizer was really good. Delivered hot and just right.Not over or under battered. They disappeared fast!! Would order those again. Had the Chicken Marsala with scalloped potato and veggies. Delivered hot and fairly quick.

And the waiter was on with the fresh cracked pepper. He must of known people appreciate those little special attentions.

A few had the Lasagne Dish and said it was delicious and Hot. My Wife had the Carbonara. Could have been a little creamier but still had a good flavor. No Alcohol this time, but I did notice their Mimosa offerings for Brunch. Maybe next time.

All in all… I’d go back for sure. Pretty laid back, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely not like the old Marin Joe’s which I do miss.“

“Following recommendations, we tried takeout. Be aware it takes longer than average. I ordered 4 items at 5:40 and pickup time was 6:15-6:30. I was there at 6:20. It was bagged & waiting with many other orders. There were few diners. It looked quite basic & not appealing as a destination unless bringing young children. The owner was gracious and friendly. The small wonton soup could feed 2. It was very good, tho there was a slight aftertaste of oil. I’m used to chow mein noodles being very thin. Theirs is like spaghetti—good, but not what I expected or wanted. Orange chicken was tasty. The broccoli beef had a delicious sauce over extremely tender beef and huge pcs. of broccoli. I asked for no garlic without much hope. No garlic! I was happy👍🏼 Very generous portions with no stinting on meat or fish in entrees. My one real criticism is the size of the cuts. Veggies require a knife as they’re double-size. Very awkward when eating soup. I don’t know if this represents Ping’s style or an overwhelmed cook who hasn’t time to properly prep. It’s a glaring kitchen misstep that needs correcting.
Would I return? Absolutely. Fresh and plentiful, even if I disagree with ingredient prep.“

“Absolutely one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had. The salmon was incredibly fresh, buttery, and melted in my mouth, especially the salmon nigiri and sashimi. Every piece was beautifully presented and generously cut, showing the quality of the fish. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a great outdoor seating area that made the meal even more enjoyable.

To top it all off, the dessert was amazing, crispy banana tempura paired perfectly with the ice cream and caramel drizzle. From start to finish, everything tasted fresh, looked beautiful, and exceeded expectations. If you’re a salmon lover, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!“
