Honestly didn't have high hopes booking this on short notice for a special anniversary dinner, but the place absolutely came through. We were welcomed warmly, our table was beautifully set, and the staff had noted the occasion when I booked — which meant little thoughtful touches throughout the evening without ever being over the top. Came in for lunch and ended up staying way longer than planned because we got chatting and the staff just let us. No clock-watching, no hovering. Food was great, place had a proper cosy feel. Bill was very fair for what we ate. The kind of place that feels like a hug. Going back soon definitely.
