We have visited several times both for dine in and take out and all orders have been met with warm customer service and applause from the entire family for their menu items.

My most recent visit raised to the top of my favorite menu items: veggie tacos- out of this world! Perhaps the best tacos of any kind I’ve ever had…
I love that they don’t use lard to cook their beans, it really shows their commitment to quality.

The lentejas (lentil soup) was perfectly flavored, hearty and just all around delicious.

I know it was a lengthy construction and opening for them, I hope the community really shows them the love, they won’t be disappointed!“

“The staff was very friendly and the food came out super quick! We ordered the sweet and sour chicken, the eggplant tofu, and the cashew chicken. The sweet and sour chicken was perfectly crispy with the right balance of sweet and sour. The eggplant tofu wasn’t soggy, it had a perfect texture and flavor. The cashews in the cashew chicken was addicting. The portions are also a good size. Would come here again!“

“Of all of our favorite places to eat, this is one my wife and I count as the very top tier.

The service is always excellent. We've never asked for anything to not receive it or have the item forgotten about, they are always quick to accommodate, and every person who works here is friendly and well mannered.

As for the food, it is the best sushi I've ever had next to Bamboo in Portland (and still, I think I prefer Sushi Tri). When we're travelling, we now frequently overlook sushi places simply because the fear is that we will just miss what we get at Sushi Tri.

We are creatures of habit, so usually, we order any combination of the pork gyoza, the California hand rolls, the King Dragon Roll, the Mount Fuji Roll, and the spicy tuna tacos. More often than not, we will order all of these things, if we aren't trying something new, and often, we'll walk out considering coming right back in for more in a disguise, so we don't look as shameful as we feel wanting more when we're full (but looking ridiculous isn't off the table). Their ramen is also fantastic, and among my favorites.

The dining area is always spotless, and is very comfortable. If you're worried about missing an important game when having dinner out, they've got that covered, too. We've never had too much trouble getting a seat here, but it does get busy, because it is, indeed, the best.

We recommend Sushi Tri to literally anyone who comes into Marin.“

Lunch buffet often has more unusual seasonal dishes, as well as the classics. Buffet is an incredible deal with lots of dishes, Chai, salad, samosas and pakoras, pickles and dessert all included, and delicious. Did I mention that prices are really reasonable? “I’ve been to a lot of ice cream places around the world and this is my favorite one (get the vanilla honey lavender flavor). Not only is the ice cream delicious and waffle cone crunchy, but it is very cheap (I swear ice cream has gotten so expensive - like why are some places charging $10). The only downside would probably be that they only take cash.“

“The Tiburon Tavern was such a wonderful surprise! The restaurant is beautiful, the service was outstanding, and every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious.

I had the **Buddha Vegan Bowl**, and it was simply incredible. Every bite brought a new combination of flavors. It was, without a doubt, the best salad I've had in a long time. It was packed with delicious vegan protein sources like tofu, chickpeas, and pumpkin seeds, along with fresh greens, colorful vegetables, and an amazing dressing that tied everything together perfectly.

My husband ordered the burger with fries, and it was equally impressive. The burger had a delicious smoky flavor, and the fries were cooked to absolute perfection—crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.

My son had the Chicken Alfredo pasta, which was also fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared.

It's not easy to find a restaurant where every single meal at the table exceeds expectations, but Tiburon Tavern absolutely did. We left impressed with both the quality of the food and the excellent service.

Very simple basic menu, but everything was perfect. Flavorful, fresh, generously sized, good service. Everything was right. We are talking San Francisco - San Jose level of excellence for Vietnamese food. I used to think you had to go to the City to find great Vietnamese food, But now we have it local here in San Rafael. The other Vietnamese restaurants around town can't even compare. This restaurant is now on my short list. Coming back. Five star.“

“My husband and I came here for breakfast before our hike in Muir Woods. Husband got the huevos rancheros with house potatoes which was really good! I got the Mexican scramble with hash browns and I think this was literally the best omelette I’ve ever had. I was so full for hours afterwards (and yes, even after the hike I barely had any room for anything else). Would highly recommend!

“The steamed clams and mussels were the best I've had in years. Perfectly cooked, not overdone and small like so many places. The ribeye was delicious and the mashed potatoes that came with it were perfect 👌. Fish tacos were complex and delicious. You can tell they have an artist back there. We went with a toddler and sat outside, luckily most people were inside, but they were very kind and seemed to enjoy her antics which always makes it more enjoyable for the adults.“
