I was so delighted to have lunch here. The moment I walked in it became very clear to me how aligned Frank and his wife are in how they live their life, and serve delicious food. I could see in the details with how much love and joy they run the place, choose ingredients and prepare and serve the food. Best Deli I experienced in the US and my favorite meal since I started travelling 4 months ago. I will be back!
SGD is a superb local deli in the heart of Sausalito. The look, feel, and wonderful aromas that fill the well stocked shop are AWESOME. WE SPLIT A Turkey Bacon and Av avocado sandwich on a sourdough roll. After ordering, we sat outside in a beautiful peaceful backyard patio, shaded by marvelous fig trees. The bubbling fountain made our lunch a very peaceful experience. I can’t wait to come back to Sausalito and dine at Sausalito gourmet delicatessen again.
