“1st time... but definitely not the last.I have never noticed so many people at a small restaurant at 10 am. on a weekday. So I grabbed a table outside, and to my surprise, I was immediately handed a menu with a friendly smile and asked if I wanted something to drink. I requested coffee..and despite being very busy, my cup was never allowed to go empty. I ordered th Marvin'sScramble....and was blown away....it was awesome. I can't wait to go back..... Great food with friendly service still exists!!!“

“The first Japanese restaurant I have eaten at outside Japan that has the emphasis on quality, attention to detail, and customer service that is expected there. Not all the dishes were fantastic, but the overall experience was excellent. I'll try some different things next time.“

“The food is always superb weather it’s Lunch, Dinner, or the Omakase. The service is always great. I highly recommend the Omakase, the price is well worth it. I did not leave hungry, unlike other Michelin star restaurant experiences. Hands down, my favorite sushi in the North Bay.“

“What a great place for a weekend lunch! Stephanie(? I think is her name) was wonderful- so nice. The food? I'm coming back! Since stepping in, we had a craving for real corned beef. They delivered! Cool place. It was too early for me at least to go to the bar, but it looked fun.“

“Sushi Tri is tremendously delicious and correctly priced. My only grievance is that when you get miso soup to go, they put it in a container that has a small hole in the lid and they do not double bag that container so by the time you get home most of the soup has sloshed into the bag that holds the full order. It’s very annoying. Otherwise, I adore Sushi Tri“

“Although one may think it is about bacon, it is so much more. The diversity of dishes are wonderful, and even the side salad with the sandwiche is robust, and the homemade dressings are very good. Check out the Cobb Salad, as you will not go hungry.“

“Great food choices. This is an order-at-the-counter place, so no table service, but the workers were kind and responsive. And the food came out very fast. Sitting outside is probably preferable for atmosphere but we came in a cold day and sat inside which was just “OK.”“
“Awesome i got the number 7 and the number 12 on tap and its anazing and you can get what ever beer drink you want to go by the piece. They even have a triple ipa. Local nice place. Lots of potential. They’ve got souvenirs too. Definitely visit this place if in san fran area.“
“Mantra wine is not only the best wine bar in Marin, but it is one of the best community locations for great drink, people and music. Mike and the whole team there are huge supporters of local music and art, which I really appreciate. They also have easily the best open mic going which runs every Thursday. They are now serving two of their own beers (Double IPA and a Brown Ale), which is great for those seeking a different libation.“
“Only brewery in marin county worth paying for a pint or more on site. Great selection for everyone. Dog and kid friendly. Video games, darts, board games, and more. Sports watching. Friendly local crowd. People come to talk to each other. Great vibe and logo design.“

“My husband and I were traveling through Novato and found this little restaurant on Yelp. We came in through their store and the gentleman behind the counter told us to go to the back of the store and turn right. The restaurant has a small eating area with a tv but clean. Didn't know what to order because their menu is extensive and they have daily specials to boot! With the help of our waitress we got the pupusas, tacos chapines, and a salad (asked them to make one up). She was so friendly and accommodating! They made us a salad with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, and avocados. Didn't have salad dressing but came with lime wedges so we squeezed that with pepper and it was really tasty! The tacos chapinas were to die for as were the pupusas! The pupusas we had were the bean & cheese, pork, and the cheese and zucchini. The tortillas are hand made and part of the kitchen is exposed to you can see and hear the woman making them. Lots of people were coming in for take out orders and wish I could be around to try all their dishes!! If we come through here we'll definitely stop to eat here again!!“

“Best Mexican in town. Even in Novato, a small town that has a disproportionate number of Mexican restaurants. Authentic enough by Gringo standards: not a word of English spoken here during my last visit. But don’t let that interfere with the ambience, the friendliness of the staff, and of course, the great food.“
“We recently hosted our company Holiday party in the banquet room at Trek Winery. The room was perfect, plenty of space to mingle and plenty of seating. There are wine barrels lining the walls, a large stage area on one side of the room and a bar area on the other. Food was provided by Trek and it was amazing, the tri-tip and chicken were great. Kids and adults approved! The staff was very helpful in setting up, providing all the place settings, tables, drinks, food, glassware, microphone, music, etc. If you are looking for an easy venue to host an event with little to no stress of planning I highly recommend Trek Winery.“

“Was looking for some good Chinese locally for lunch and this place was a great find! Super polite owners, fast service, and overall good food. This review is based off pickup but every lunch plate to go has been consistently good. Comes with fried rice and noodles and choice of main entree. I've had a few chicken options and all were good, portions are generous too.“

“We love meals here, and order from them often. They have awesome pumpkin curry, my favorite dish! Anything I've had is good: pot stickers, pad thai, drunken noodles, yellow curry (we get it spicy level 3-4), Thai Tea. Very quick service as well whether dining in, picking up or delivery. We have done all and had good experiences.Parking: On a side of a strip mall, plenty of parking in front of and to the right of establishment.“
“Attended BuckLuckyfest at this wonderful venue. The staff is great the owner, Olympia , is fabulous! A great place to have an event or party. The food is good and Austin mixes up your favorite cocktails. Tonight a $5 cover gets you in to see live bands play, shop vintage clothing and check out other vendor booths or hang out in bar area and watch sports. Event ends at 10pm.“

“I order the mini burger with a fried egg and It’s delicious! Garlic fries are excellent and the burgers are cooked and seasoned well. A bit pricey, but they offer a discount for local businesses and it covers the tax. Overall, a solid burger joint with nice atmosphere.“

“I recently moved and am trying to support local businesses in the neighborhood. While bummed that my favorite Chinese restaurant doesn't deliver to this side of town, I was happy to learn that Green Bamboo does, and it's still family owned and operated; including DELIVERY! I'd started my order via Yelp, but the price was outrageous, so I called the restaurant, and the owner told me she does deliver and even mentioned some of my neighbors who she delivers to! I haven't been to the restaurant in many years, but used to eat at Green Bamboo many years ago. I kept it simple, sweet and sour chicken, vegetable rice and spring rolls. The sween and sour chicken was not to my liking, there was a metalic taste to the sauce and pineapple, and it was not as crispy as I like. The vegetable fried rice was delicious! There were a lot of good sized pieces of veggies in the rice and it was flavorful. The spring rolls were crispy and the filling was fresh and delicious! The bonus fifth star is because they personally deliver your food, it's not a second or third party/business. The owner was so kind when she arrived, she wore a mask (I appreciate covid or any health safety practices from restaurants or delivery people) and she recognized me from years ago. Great customer service and I'll order again.“

“I am not Indian but I’ve worked in an Indian restaurant, I’ve been to India, and I consider myself an Indian food aficionado… this place is the real deal. Probably the best Indian food I’ve had in Marin and definitely better than other parts of the U.S. Everything we had was homemade, including the chutneys, samosas, etc. the achari eggplant was delicious. My only complaints were that the chicken tikka was prepared more like a malai kebab, and the onion kulcha was stuffed with cheese, which I did not really want, but was still good.Vegetarian options: Vegan options as wellDietary restrictions: Many vegan options“

“My wife and I have made Little Goan our favorite Indian restaurant in Novato. We go almost every time we're in Marin. Sharona and Frankie are super sweet people and very accommodating. We always order an extra meal to take home. It's rare when I find a place where I want to eat s-l-o-w-l-y enough to truly savor the food. Little Goan captures my hedonistic desire to experience spirituality in a spoonVegetarian options: Lots of GF options.“

“This is a nice place to eat at, It is located in a mall with plenty of parking. The menu has a wide variety of food for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They have very good Omelettes and Eggs Benedict. Most everything on their menu is good. The service is friendly too. Prices may be a little higher than other places, but they are worth it.“

“The consistency at this restaurant is notable. Also it's one of those regular little Mom and pop donut places and not all fancy like one of those gentrified ones ie Johnny's donuts.Support a local Asian owned business and get one of those little glass bottles of Martinelli that shaped like an apple. A lot of things have changed in this world but not these consistent little donut restaurants.I head down there every once in a while to pick up some donuts for my teammates and coworkers. Simple Sweets with a smileKid-friendliness: They've got the classic donuts but also some fun ones inspired by cartoon characters and themes for months“

“Five stars! One of the very best Chinese food eateries in the entire Bay Area. Everything on their menu is amazing. But if you're like me and enjoy spicy food, then I recommend Ming Yen's Mongolian Beef, which is fabulous paired alongside their vegetable fried rice. All of their noodle dishes, literally every item, is mouth watering tasty.“
“This is our go to place for lunch. It can get crowded, especially on weekends, but the salads and sandwiches are great. I almost always have the Caesar with chicken, but occasionally one of the sandwiches. Always delicious. The baked goods are also excellent although I try to stay clear of them for calorie purposes! The only thing that can be annoying is when there is a long line and it's because someone is standing at the bakery section and there is a person free to take an order, but you have to wait for the person picking out things at the bakery counter. Why can't someone give an order in that case? It just needs a bit of management.“

I highly recommend this place for a “regular” spot or if you want to try something new.“

“Nestled on a side street in Novato, among redwood trees, is a hidden gem. A cozy eatery, offering scrumptious, tasty traditional japanese cuisine. There is something for everyone, whether it be entrees, bento combinations, sushi, sashimi, or appetizers. The atmosphere is whimsical, with a collection of ornamental bonsai to elevate the feeling of zen. This is definitely a happy place, where the food is delicious, staff is exceptional, and the chef's talents completed our dining experience.Vegetarian options: There are options for vegetarians. You just need to double-check when ordering.Parking: The restaurant has parking on the side of the property, as well as off-street parking.Kid-friendliness: There is indoor and outdoor seating, so depending on the weather and child, there are options.Wheelchair accessibility: I believe the doors are wide enough to be wheelchair accessible to go inside, but the is also outdoor seating. There are no stairs or steps to hinder access.“

“Great place, close by, Pizza is Excellent, Great Service - especially at the bar... They have a very good Gluten Free crust available...The chicken wings are good though a little small, the onion rings are very tasty - note they like every thing else on the menu are baked not fried, the penne pasta is quite good.“
“Food: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Cleanliness and spaciousness: 5 stars We were on an errand run that took us 300 miles north of home. We coordinated with a West Marin relative to meet for lunch, and Moylan's was her pick: easy freeway access, plentiful parking, lots of varied menu options. Unfortunately, as we had a long drive home ahead of us, we weren't able to fully partake of the plentiful and diverse beer menu, but our server gave me a sample of Dragoon's Dry Irish Stout (so delicious) as well as San Quentin's Breakout Stout (smoother, more chocolaty, but a second-choice for me). Our server was attentive (didn't keep bugging us about ordering since we clearly were talking, then talking with each other ABOUT what we MIGHT order) and settled in as he saw we were ready to order. Friendly service, accurate, attentive. The food came out much more quickly than I had anticipated, and was all hot and tasty. Blue cheese burgers (one with TRULY garlicky garlic fries, the other with proper beer-battered onion rings - none of that crumbly stuff), and one lamb stew with a side of bread and butter. All three of us came away satiated, happy with our food, and having shared bites of each others because it all looked so tempting! Looking forward to returning for a brewer focused meal on a day with a more open schedule and no driving required.“

“The food was ok. Had cheese pizza for the kiddos, they all agreed that it was average. My wife had the boca salad and she also said it was ok. I had the portobello ravoli and thought it was good, however a little tough. Overall it was an expensive price for average food.“

“I have been a faithful customer of Maya Palenque for 20+ years. I almost always order the chicken/rice soup which is beyond delicious. Big hunks of ripe avocados, glob of Mexican cheese, wonderful white meat chicken all in a very flavorful tomato base, not too spicy, broth. My husband swears by their chimichangas and the mole enchiladas also top notch. Always good, friendly service, never too crowded to feel comfortable. For those looking for a generous margarita, nice small bar area to sit after work. Their prices have gone up over the years, but then whose haven't? If you're looking for great Mexican food in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place.“

“Taqueria Mi Pueblo III: A Delicious and Authentic For over eight years, Taqueria Mi Pueblo III has been my go-to spot for authentic Mexican cuisine. What I love about this restaurant is its dedication to traditional flavors, with many dishes staying true to their Mexican roots and avoiding the typical Mexican-American fusion style. This is especially true for their unique soups and specials. On our recent visit, we tried the Albondigas (Mexican Meatball Soup). While I wouldn't normally order meatball soup, this version was surprisingly delicious! The hearty broth and flavorful meatballs were incredibly satisfying. My absolute favorite dish at Taqueria Mi Pueblo III is the Molcajete, unfortunately, they were out of it on our visit. For those unfamiliar, a Molcajete is a traditional Mexican mortar and pestle made from volcanic rock. It's used to grind various ingredients like chilies, garlic, and tomatoes, creating rich flavors that enhance the dish. The Molcajete dish itself is a hearty and flavorful creation featuring a variety of ingredients like beef, pork, chicken, chorizo, vegetables, and a blend of spices. It's typically served sizzling in the Molcajete, allowing you to mix the ingredients to your liking. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. While we usually enjoy the outdoor seating, it was too cold on this occasion. The indoor area, though small, is comfortable, and the service is fantastic. Our server was incredibly friendly, patiently answering our questions and ensuring our special requests were met. If you're looking for an authentic and delicious Mexican dining experience, Taqueria Mi Pueblo III is a must-try. You won't be disappointed!“

“Been going here all my life and every time I come back to Novato I also stop by. It's one of the few resteraunts that quality has remained since my childhood. There is a reason this place is packed during lunch amongst the two high schools it's great quantity and quality for the price. Not to mention the workers there are extremely kind and welcoming.“
