I've tried a lot of places in Sonoma and Marin but hands down this was the best I couldn't shut up for 15 minutes about how good it was!! The birria was very good too and the price great!!! Last but anything but the least was the ceviche it was fresh good flavor and the mango tasted lovely with the fish!! Im going to have to stop by tomorrow too!!“

“I would recommend the Nashville Hot Fried Chicken sandwich at this specific location, as it is the best when compared with their two other locations. Owner and staff are very friendly, service is quick, every food we have had is delicious, and the place is nostalgic. There are local bands that play music there on certain dates.“

Nice flavor subtleties.... creative, seasonal with a nod to agricultural stewardship (featured walnuts instead of almonds in a delicious white gazpacho.) Chef Oscar was approachable, friendly and very kind. Ditto with VJ, and well Jeffrey Mayo is a impeccable host. Wines were delicious, subtle and balanced, obviously created by well informed palettes. Went home with more than my share:-). Cannot wait to go back. Loved that the "reserve room;" was not stodgy, the garden area felt like we were sitting visiting with someone in their back yard.. “I made this reservation as an anniversary dinner for my parents who were celebrating their 46th married year together. First, I appreciate the staff for reaching out to me in advance of the dinner, in response to a message I had sent them, to coordinate with me so that I could handle payment of the meal without my parents receiving the bill. While I was not actually there at the dinner with them, my parents came home from dinner and were quite enthusiastic about how awesome the food was, how nice the staff were, and how great and unique the overall experience was. They are visiting from out of town and don't live in areas with super great dining options and so they were really blown away by the dinner. They ordered several things... a salad, the mushrooms, bread, the sea bass and rib eye ... and raved about it all. They took the included photos of everything they ate so they could show me when they returned home. :) My parents are currently in town from out of state taking care of me as I recover and receive treatment for a serious medical condition and so it was nice to be able to give them the break and have it turn out to be such an enjoyable experience for them. Their real reason for being in town actually came up at their dinner during conversation with the staff and the staff ended up sending them home with a takeout meal for me on the house. It was really, really sweet gesture. It's also worth mentioning that the takeout meal, a handmade pasta dish, was absolutely amazing! Thank you Golden Bear Station! <3“

I just wanted a water and salsa and was looking the whole meal for an employee. made eye contact with our server and she ignored me 3 times, then brought our check and said you can pay whenever. not even how was the food. my husband had to get me my water as he fully finished his food while I was still trying to stall because I wanted salsa on my 25$ omelet. 😕“

“The photo does not do it justice! My fiancé went in to pick up our order and the gentleman there was beyond kind to give him a bowl of delicious lentil soup while he waited. We got the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan and we were not disappointed. It was delicious and flavorful with perfectly cooked chicken and rice. The sauce was perfectly balanced the portions were large and left us both with no complaints! We cannot wait to go back and try other things. It’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I will be recommending to friends.“

It’s a little hard to find depending on how you drive in the GPS made us go round in circles. Find the big store next to it and you’ll get there easily. It doesn’t have the atmosphere of a fancy Japanese restaurant, but the prices were very reasonable and the food as good as I’ve had anywhere in an expensive Japanese restaurant. thank you.“

“You know the food is good when Abuelita (did I spell that right?) is in the kitchen. I simply ordered a shrimp quesadilla with their handmade tortilla. Speechless. The handmade tortilla was so perfect that every time I go to a Taqueria now I ask if they have handmade tortillas just to see if I can re-create the experience I had here.. The shrimp…seasoned but not so over-seasoned that you didn’t taste the shrimp. The cheese balances and blends flavors and textures at the same time. That’s it, cheese, shrimp and handmade tortilla. I was in the area for work but I promise I’m gunna make the 1 hr drive back on my own time just to order this again. The chips were even homemade and oh my gosh they went so well with also homemade salsa.“
