Val John was very knowledgeable and kept things moving with excellent food all afternoon long.
We had a great time with VJ and Chef. The wine was delicious and the food was amazing. A wonderful experience that we will bring more friends to.
It was an absolutely lovely afternoon: food (bites) and wine pairing was spot on! Food complimented the wine, without overpowering it. Nice flavor subtleties.... creative, seasonal with a nod to agricultural stewardship (featured walnuts instead of almonds in a delicious white gazpacho.) Chef Oscar was approachable, friendly and very kind. Ditto with VJ, and well Jeffrey Mayo is a impeccable host.
