“We had such a memorable experience at the Reserve Room at Mayo Family Winery, honestly one of our best visits yet, and we've been several times. The highlight this time was definitely the food. There's a new chef, Oscar, and he is fantastic. Every dish felt thoughtful, beautifully executed, and perfectly balanced with the wines. You can really tell there's a fresh energy in the kitchen. The pairing was exceptional, easily the best we've had here. Each course elevated the wine in a way that made the whole experience feel cohesive and elevated, without ever being too heavy or overdone. We've always loved Mayo, but this visit stood out. Between the upgraded food program and the consistently great wines, it felt like a true step up. We ended up buying wine before leaving, which says it all. Can't wait to come back.“

“Ty Caton Vineyards and George in the tasting room MADE our weekend. We did a wedding party trip with 22 people and no one has stopped talking about what a great time we had with our wine tasting. They were fun, accommodating, and the wine was delicious. We wish we could come back every weekend! This is a must stop in Kenwood for sure!“

“Great experience from start to finish! Really nice wines at a great value (especially the Rhone varietals), super cool and unique tasting room, welcoming atmosphere and great vibes. Daniel was a fantastic host and really responsive/flexible for planning the tasting for our group of 8. Highlights: choosing our own vinyl records to play during our tasting, the wines (duh!), and being able to eat lunch (and open a few bottles) on the front patio after our tasting.“

“Csaba and Neil were amazing, and they really know their wines. Some of the best wines that I’ve had, and Csaba (the wine maker) is an award winning wine maker who sources his grapes from the best regions in the area. They also patiently sat with us the whole time and explained their processes!“

“A must-stop winery in Sonoma Valley for wine enthusiasts. Steve is a gracious host and excellent wine maker. We did a group tasting in his private and serene tasting room right next to his estate vineyard. He specializes in cool climate fruit resulting in refined and elegant wines that allows the fruit and terroir express itself more clearly. It was a fresh breath of air where many winemaker optimize for high alcohol content. We ended up walking away as club members and a case of wine!“

“This place was great stop on the side of the road, Our server Nicole was lovely and patient and I love how she explained all the details, the highlight for me for “Tesoro” . If you are in the area and like reds I recommend taking a stop here and a ++ they take the wine pass so a great deal. Enjoy“

“My late husband and I always brought our visitors to Kunde Winery for their luscious/rich and delectable wine. At Kunde, we have built many unforgettable and sweet memories with our wine-loving family from Taiwan and local friends. It is a wonderful tradition worth continuing.

I particularly love their Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Dirt Red and Zinfandel. Every visit to Kunde always evokes feelings of nostalgia. It is such a blessing to have Kunde, a hidden gem, within my arm’s reach. Kunde is a must visit when in Sonoma County.

Their guided mountain top tour (the views were absolutely spectacular and breathtaking), dog hike, and wine/music events in which I participated put me at the top of the world emotionally and mentally. Life was beautiful! Come visit and explore this beautiful place to build a lasting memory.“

“Well done!!!! You saved the day! Every place we went was closed for lunch. Our mother turned 95, can you believe it.
You have a beautiful, miniature piazza that reminded her of our visit to Italy. A warm welcoming and very attentive staff. The food was perfect. I cannot recommend this establishment enough.“

“I think it is mandatory for a winery to have a lovely building and grounds. That said, the building here is very stylish and impressive. The wine is of course lovely and the customer service was excellent as well. Very much worth your time if you are wine tasting.“
