“My wife and I have enjoyed Cakebread wines for years, but this was our first opportunity to visit the property, and it did not disappoint.

We chose the wine tasting and food pairing experience and were fortunate to have Carl guide us through it. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared the Cakebread family’s history and the evolution of the winery in a way that felt personal, engaging, and never rehearsed.

The wine and food pairings were excellent, and we even had the pleasure of meeting the chef. We also really enjoyed the company of the two other couples in our group—one visiting from Canada and the other from Los Angeles—which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Naturally, we left with a few bottles to bring home, along with one of Cakebread’s signature coasters as a small reminder of a wonderful afternoon.

Beautiful property, exceptional wines, thoughtful hospitality, and a memorable experience from beginning to end. We would absolutely return on a future trip to Napa.“

This isn’t a corporate tasting experience; instead, it’s warm, welcoming, and full of personal storytelling.

Timm, Sharon, and Madeleine are excellent hosts who make you feel like part of the family. The winery tour and tasting were informative and so much fun. We especially loved seeing where Timm crafts his specialty balsamic vinegar.

“We did the harvest live tour with Karl and had a blast! We were especially interested in trying a variety of white wines and St Supery had a great selection. Our standout was the Muscat and it was also very cool trying the unfinished wines in different stages.“

“We made reservations at the Bistro at 11:00 am. Nick greeted us and treated us like family, served us coffee and cookies outside in the shade..quaint tables overlooking phenomenal grounds - he made the visit, even took pictures of us in three settings! There is a very well done museum with the history of the Neibaum and Coppola families. Great place to stop and enjoy this 4th oldest winery in the valley!“

“It was raining when we visited so they set us up on the porch of the main building, which I LOVED. They had the heaters going and offered a cozy blanket. We were allowed to walk literally anywhere we wanted which was such a cool experience to see the bottling process and the cellar. All wines were delish and the staff was so friendly and attentive, especially Angela and Jeff(?). Would recommend!“

“Fleurylicious: when the best wine melts into your mouth like the first snowflake ever caught on a child’s tongue! Wine tasting at Fleury Estate is an exceptional, intimate experience. The wine is in a class of its own, from the aroma to the smooth taste that definitely makes you go “ummmmm.” Add to that the personal tasting we had with the owners Brian and Claudia and their son Connor, who made us feel like family, and it was the most memorable experience of our trip. Comparing the tasting experience at Fleury to that of many other wineries; well the others may leave you as dry as a cheap cab on your tongue! If you’re looking for a boutique experience instead of a production line, Fleury is a “must book” for your next Napa trip.“

“My husband and I visited BV over Labor Day weekend. We didn’t book a tour in advance, but we were still able to enjoy wine by the glass at the bar & take in their gorgeous new building! From our first steps on the property, we were greeted by Joe, who was SO welcoming and made sure we’d still have a great experience without booking anything prior. Ranch 1 and 2 were some of the best wines we’ve ever had. Julia helped us & was so knowledgeable about everything and so kind! We loved talking with her. She made our experience there much more personable and fun. In particular, I loved all of the mood lighting in the bar area. It’s too bad wineries close so early - with the mood lighting, it looks like it was made to be used in the evening. In a dream world, I could imagine being in that room, in the evening, with a live jazz band playing. THAT would absolutely be a 10/10 experience.“
