“The only thing more beautiful than the Inglenook property was the wine. 😍 The buildings and grounds were well-preserved and maintained and so rich in history. Every time I turned around there was something even more beautiful to look out, both indoors and out. Our guide felt the vibe of our group and did an excellent job creating an amazing tour for us. Very non-scripted, so knowledgeable, answered all our questions. And the wine….. It was SO good. My favorite of all the wine we tasted in Napa on our two days there.”

“It was raining when we visited so they set us up on the porch of the main building, which I LOVED. They had the heaters going and offered a cozy blanket. We were allowed to walk literally anywhere we wanted which was such a cool experience to see the bottling process and the cellar. All wines were delish and the staff was so friendly and attentive, especially Angela and Jeff(?). Would recommend!”

“My husband and I visited BV over Labor Day weekend. We didn’t book a tour in advance, but we were still able to enjoy wine by the glass at the bar & take in their gorgeous new building! From our first steps on the property, we were greeted by Joe, who was SO welcoming and made sure we’d still have a great experience without booking anything prior. Ranch 1 and 2 were some of the best wines we’ve ever had. Julia helped us & was so knowledgeable about everything and so kind! We loved talking with her. She made our experience there much more personable and fun. In particular, I loved all of the mood lighting in the bar area. It’s too bad wineries close so early - with the mood lighting, it looks like it was made to be used in the evening. In a dream world, I could imagine being in that room, in the evening, with a live jazz band playing. THAT would absolutely be a 10/10 experience.”

“Intimate setting with incredible views at this family vineyard and winery. Our host, Keith, was engaging, knowledgeable, and fun. The owner, Bart, stopped by to say hello and chat a moment as well.

The grounds are amazing as we could walk around and see the vines, the animals, and the garden.for the wine, all were delicious, however it was the best Chardonnay I’ve tried! Highly recommend.”

“Stopped by Pancha’s while passing through Yountville and it’s a must-stop. It’s a great change of pace from all the fancy wineries. We’re from Ohio and really appreciated the service Ashley was so nice and did a 10/10 job.
Apparently, a lot of famous people like Howard Stern have stopped in here too. If you want a quick beer and some good grub, I’d definitely recommend it.”

“Good food and good service. The outdoor seating however is the stupidest set up I've ever seen at a restaurant. The tables are so mini and short, that you drop food off your fork before it reaches your mouth, due to the reach down, and the chairs are terrible uncomfortable. They're are hard and small. I understand the chairs and tables are cute but, really need replaced with something more practical and more comfortable for customers. They even have plants on the patio that poke you while you're trying to eat.”

James Cole is my favorite for so many reasons: (1) The grounds are amazing and peaceful (2) All the staff l have ever worked with ordering wine or tasting at the winery has been above and beyond. Tasting with Kate and every staff member is like visiting with an old friend (3) They are always willing to negotiate a bit better price when you order enough wine...which is never a problem since you can't have to much James Cole!

If you are looking to get away from the large commercial wine companies you absolutely can not do any better than James Cole. In my opinion I'd take their wine over any large corporate winery and any winery out there in general. You just can't beat the entire experience.”

The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!”

We had such a lovely experience - everything from the vineyard tour in the Rivian, outlook views, champagne and caviar, wine caves, and a food&wine pairing! You couldn’t ask for anything more out of a Napa Valley experience!”
