“An outstanding dining experience by passionate, up-and-coming, chefs, in a rustic, comfortable atmosphere! It was such a pleasure to dine at Gatehouse! From the moment we arrived, every aspect of our experience far exceeded our expectations. It was tough to decide on which dishes to order as they all sounded wonderful, but once ordered, each dish that came out of the kitchen was a true work of art, served by friendly chefs who were on their front of house rotation. From the unexpected gazpacho and focaccia bread to our last course, each dish was absolutely delicious and impressive. To top off our experience, we were presented with a signed menu by many of the chefs. Kudos to everyone at the CIA, keep up the great work! Can’t wait to return.”

“One of my favorite wineries in Napa to visit -- the tasting room is bright, airy, and elegant, plus Martini Park on the south side offers fresh air and sun (or shade, if that's what you need). The wines on offer here are almost all winery-exclusives -- you can taste the Napa cab which is widely available, and the Monte Rosso and Lot 1 get some distribution, but it's entirely possible to come here and taste wines and never touch one of those three. Their quality in vineyard sourcing and production is top-notch, and it shows in the bottle. Definitely worth a stop!”

The atmosphere is super cute. The restaurant is a family-run, community-focused, neighborhood restaurant in an old cottage offering casual New American. There’s a cute little garden at the entrance with a fireplace. There’s decor is very crate and barrel/california chic.

The food was phenomenal….the chicken, OUT OF THIS WORLD…the parker house rolls with the bacon fat, the fried green tomatoes and the carrots were all PHENOMENAL! The Tomahawk was a little undercooked unfortunately.

Service was impeccable. From the moment we got there till Ben said farewell, everything was on point. Our table wasn’t ready when we arrived and they knew we were there for a birthday, so they gave us a welcome glass of champagne while we waited for our table. From then on Ben looked after us, he was super nice, attentive and knew the menu very well.

Next time I’m in Napa, I’ll be back.”

“What a beautiful peaceful serene experience. Very aesthetically pleasing, calming, inclusive (check out couple videos I attached). I’d say this place stand out from others, decide for yourself and make sure to check it out if you’re in the area.

I was very grateful for their fresh and delicious vegan option — mushroom tartine, which to me tasted like a generous perfect sourdough toast with warm freshly sautéed mixed mushrooms with a light hint of garlic bedded on almond ricotta and topped with thyme.

You can omit cheese and get a salad for a healthy plant-based meal. The freshly squeezed juice is the cherry on the top. My husband had a chocolate croissant but tomorrow we’ll order something else to try. People say Thor muffins and cinnamon rolls are great, coffee and other drinks.

You also can browse and buy some good and unique/quality gifts or souvenirs here to remind you about this place. I’ll come back here tomorrow for breakfast - we are here for a wedding, wish I could visit more often.

There are so many well-thought little details in eco-chis style with lots of plants, use of wood and stone, and other organic natural materials in neutral and earthy palette with lots of light. I’m not a designer but that’s how I felt. Thank you to owners and chef. Thank you for offering vegan options.

On Google maps it shows they close at 4:30pm but the staff closed the doors at 4 and informed us we had to leave. When I mentioned that they should then correct the time info on google because it is confusing. The girl who worked as a cashier and seemed to be the manager too was very straight forward and not polite.
In general the bakery was fine. They got good coffee and pastries.”
