“The yurt experience is really special”

“Good food and good service. The outdoor seating however is the stupidest set up I've ever seen at a restaurant. The tables are so mini and short, that you drop food off your fork before it reaches your mouth, due to the reach down, and the chairs are terrible uncomfortable. They're are hard and small. I understand the chairs and tables are cute but, really need replaced with something more practical and more comfortable for customers. They even have plants on the patio that poke you while you're trying to eat.”

I picked up a kid after a weekday match on the back fields; the campus is a standard comprehensive high school with a lot of later wings, and pickup traffic jammed the exit. The office staff knew the game schedule without checking a screen.”

“The Experience: Our Crown Collection Experience at Louis M. Martini Winery was an absolute standout during our Napa Valley trip, featuring incredible world-class Cabernet Sauvignons and a breathtaking setting.

The Highlight: A true culinary highlight of the tasting was their St. Agur Panzanella pairing (featuring olive, panko, heirloom tomato, black garlic, and chimichurri). The flavors were so phenomenal that we couldn't resist recreating an homage to it at home with peach jam on a savory thin cracker alongside a crisp Sancerre.”

“Wow what a beautiful location. Gorgeous views and landscape. Amazing mansion. Comfortable indoor but limited outdoor seating..Great gift shop and moat importantly amazing wine. Never been to Italy but feels like you've been after going to Inglenook! This Francis Ford Coppola owned vineyard is not only gorgeous it serves amazing wine. The wine representative assigned to us gave us not only details about the grapes and growing process and making of the wine but a history of the vineyard, the first owners, the Coppola's purchase of the vineyard, as well as details about the history of Napa as wine country in California and so much more. One note is the cheese board could use an upgrade. Other wineries we visited offer a variety of tasty treats to stimulate the palette and wine pairing experience such as sweets like homemade jam, some type of meat or pate to liven up the wine tastings and more than one cheese offering. Otherwise it was a perfect experience of sampling wine and learning about Napa in the backdrop of majestic Italianesque views.”

“We come to Napa Valley and St. Helena regularly to go to Clif Family Winery, where we have been longtime members. This time we decided to venture out a bit and visit Markham Vineyards. What a great find!! Zoey, our server was amazing, and we experienced one of the most enjoyable and memorable wine tastings we’ve had in many years. Markham wines are delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. Zoey customized our wine tasting experience and poured many wines she thought we’d enjoy. She also informed us about the history of Markham and gave us a tour of the facility, beautiful and fascinating. Overall, our experience at Markham was wonderful. I would highly recommend Markham when in the Napa Valley. I would recommend reservations. Enjoy 🍷”

“One of our favorites for sure! We had been members of Terra Valentine years ago when they were in their previous location on Spring Mountain. We decided to revisit them about 2 years ago and we are so happy we did! We love the wines, the location and Rebekah and it was easy to say yes to joining their wine club again!”

“What a beautiful peaceful serene experience. Very aesthetically pleasing, calming, inclusive (check out couple videos I attached). I’d say this place stand out from others, decide for yourself and make sure to check it out if you’re in the area.

I was very grateful for their fresh and delicious vegan option — mushroom tartine, which to me tasted like a generous perfect sourdough toast with warm freshly sautéed mixed mushrooms with a light hint of garlic bedded on almond ricotta and topped with thyme.

You can omit cheese and get a salad for a healthy plant-based meal. The freshly squeezed juice is the cherry on the top. My husband had a chocolate croissant but tomorrow we’ll order something else to try. People say Thor muffins and cinnamon rolls are great, coffee and other drinks.

You also can browse and buy some good and unique/quality gifts or souvenirs here to remind you about this place. I’ll come back here tomorrow for breakfast - we are here for a wedding, wish I could visit more often.

There are so many well-thought little details in eco-chis style with lots of plants, use of wood and stone, and other organic natural materials in neutral and earthy palette with lots of light. I’m not a designer but that’s how I felt. Thank you to owners and chef. Thank you for offering vegan options.

“We had a magical time at our wine tasting at the Saint! From beginning to end, the experience and the staff were excellent. I had accidentally booked our tasting for the wrong month, but the staff was able to quickly accommodate us anyway. The tasting was phenomenal, with four wines paired with complementary cheeses. We were looking forward to tasting some mountain wines for our last tasting of the trip, and we were blown away by the quality and depth of these wines! The tasting prices at the Saint are an absolute steal for the quality of the wines and the luxurious tasting experience.

Our wine-tasting guide, Christopher, grew up in the Napa region, and his deep knowledge of wine in general (from the vineyards to the table), and these specific wines in particular, was clear throughout our tasting. One of the things I appreciate the most about Christopher is that he is not only knowledgeable and professional, but he is also a great listener. He didn’t have a “spiel” or stiff monologue like some guides. Instead, he gave us key information as he poured each glass, answered our many questions, and talked with us about the nose and palate of the wines we tasted. His great listening was evident when he was able to respond to specific comments and make tailored recommendations based on the tasting notes we liked the most. We ended up going “off road” to try some different wines on his recommendations, including some incredible Night Wines (from a small-production, very high-elevation winery which I believe is owned by some of the same people who own the Saint—if you are in the bar, definitely try their wines!). Our group was very slow—we take a lot of notes and take our time smelling and tasting—but Christopher was very relaxed. He adapted to our pace and reassured us that we could take our time, which made the experience even more luxurious. When the wine started to go to our heads and we asked if there was any way if we could order an unplanned cheese tray, Christopher and other staff members quickly put together a beautiful platter for us with nuts, cheeses, crackers, and herbs. They were even able to provide some homemade gluten-free crackers when I let them know about my allergy. At the end of the tasting, we ended up buying several bottles, some of which we plan to put away in our cellar and are very excited to open someday.

I would highly recommend the Saint to anyone who is visiting the region and wants to try some top-notch, complex, highly structured mountain wines without driving up the mountain itself! Thank you to Christopher and everyone at the Saint who helped give us such an amazing experience!”

We liked more reds, so we did almost all reds and they were all amazing. The view there is so stunning compared to other wineries as well. We loved our trip.”

Dare I say she set the stand high for all the other wineries she educated us on the wine and the grapes we got to taste the grapes too which was one of our favorite things!
