“Love going to this locally owned and run pizzeria. Have been going her for 10+ years. Love their Caesar salad too. They have an outside deck on the second floor that's great to hang out and sip some wine with your food. We used to have birthday parties there with our kids or go there after sports practices. Service is good & place is clean. Stop in & support this great place.“
“Great place, Hasn't changed in 15 years. The staff is friendly and you can hear them sing and laugh, which helps add to the comfortable environment. Customer service is great. The pizza is crispy and delicious. Great place to spend some time eating good food and watching the beautiful town on an afternoon. “We arrived in Glen Ellen after a long car ride. I chose to crash at the hotel, but my husband wasn't going to miss a chance to eat at Glen Ellen Star. A week later I am still hearing about the other-worldly bananas foster he had for dessert! :-) We love this place so much that when we plan a weekend getaway we stay in Glen Ellen and drive over the hills to visit Napa and St. Helena just to be near our favorite restaurant, the Glen Ellen Star.“
“My wife and I had dinner earlier tonight. We shared Sashimi, Caesar Salad, Gnudi, and Black Cod. All were excellent except for the Black Cod which had great flavors but was drowned in oil. Service was excellent although a bit on the fast side. WIth those courses and no desert, we were done in under an hour. Wine prices were on the high side, so we took advantage of the $25 corkage fee. The joint was jumping and quite noisy, but it was still possible to converse. We will definitely return!“
“We came here for dinner after a tasting across the street at Jessup Cellars. Everything we chose from the Happy Hour & regular menu was excellent, as were our drinks and wine menu choices. We were a party of 6. Our server was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful.“
“Came here for fresh pasta and it was indeed very good. Happy hour has good selections of food and good deal on beer and wine. Calamari was superb crispy and delicious with fresh chunky tomato sauce for dipping. Half portions of fresh pasta were actually quite a good size to share for two. The eggplant was juicy and crispy outside. Apple crisp and tiramisu were yummy. Staff was friendly and frequently check with us about food and drinks. Overall excellent experience.“
“What a great place, our bartender Kelly was fantastic. Very attentive, always had my drink full and had great recommendations for the menu. Very enjoyable to talk to. Had a really great time. plan on coming here again. A great menu, you can get a burger and a shake, or a pizza, tacos, sandwiches. “Lovely lunch spot in the heart of Calistoga, the staff are really friendly and we got a good table inside with a view looking out on the street. We ordered 2 wraps and they were really tasty, especially the chicken Caesar one. We also ordered a southwest chicken wrap which was a little too spicy for our liking and we didn't realise it would taste this way. Otherwise it is a lovely spot for lunch and I would still return.“
“My husband enjoyed his burger. I thought the bread starter we ordered was very dry ($12). I ordered a salad specifically for the candied walnuts but they forgot to add the walnuts and it took me forever to flag somehow down to remedy the situation (there was zero flavor in the salad otherwise-just butter lettuce and dressing-major next time remember the walnuts and maybe add some dried fruit??). Salad was "meh".“
“Located in the Calistoga Motor Lodge, this restaurant was quite good and a bit of a surprise. My wife is a globalist at the new Hyatt property so we got breakfast here every day and it was a very diverse menu with many options and every thing was delicious.Came for dinner one night and was not disappointed. In an area with some solid restaurants this place was pretty busy - even around Christmas time.Highly recommend.“
“A Taste of Italy in the heart of St. Helena! My family and I just ate at Pizzeria Tra Vigne and it's a total Italian treasure! The handcrafted mozzarella is so delicious, and their pasta and pizza are some of the best food we have ever had in St. Helena. Oh, and save room for dessert - it's worth it. Plus, the service is incredible. Definitely, a must-visit in St. Helena for foodies!“
