“Our experience at Rombauer Vineyards in Napa was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable! We were welcomed and the host guided us to our beautiful, private outdoor setting for our wine tasting and picnic. The setting was simply breathtaking, with gorgeous views overlooking the valley, beautiful flowers all around, and especially stunning two-colored hibiscus (my favorite!) Our wine hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. And, of course, the wines were top notch—as we have come to expect from Rombauer. The Chardonnay and Merlot were particular favorites and absolutely outstanding.

Between the exceptional wines, beautiful setting, wonderful hospitality, and attention to detail, Rombauer created an unforgettable birthday celebration for us. Another fabulous day at Rombauer! Thank you!“

“We are on a road trip through CA and of course wanted to make a stop in Napa Valley and check out a vineyard. Though we stopped by the Napa Valley Welcome Center for recommendations they weren’t super helpful. I did use their QR code to find “kid friendly” vineyards. Some of these vineyards were not that kid friendly once we started looking into them and calling around. Tres Sabores however was VERY welcoming to us and our 9 year old. The vineyard was beautiful and so peaceful!! My husband and I enjoyed the tour with Dave and learned so much!! Julie the owner also came over and spoke with us for a bit! We tried 5 different wines and our daughter was provided organic juice boxes, bubbles and coloring supplies. We had snacks for the table that all of us enjoyed! After our tour and tastings we walked over to the barn area and played with the animals. Highly recommend Tres Sabores not only for families, but adults on their own too!! What a wonderful vineyard and great experience!!“

“Good food and good service. The outdoor seating however is the stupidest set up I've ever seen at a restaurant. The tables are so mini and short, that you drop food off your fork before it reaches your mouth, due to the reach down, and the chairs are terrible uncomfortable. They're are hard and small. I understand the chairs and tables are cute but, really need replaced with something more practical and more comfortable for customers. They even have plants on the patio that poke you while you're trying to eat.“

“Hall Wines was an experience beyond anything that I could have imagined. When we came to wine taste at Hall, our expectations were not set. I've been too many wineries in St Helena, but I've never been to Hall. The grounds were absolutely immaculate. The winery was stunningly, beautiful. Our server Alfredo Hernandez was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, inviting, and a superb host. I love talking about wanting and asking questions as I taste and both Alfredo and Tom were both a pleasure to engage with. We enjoyed absolutely everything in our experience. We enjoyed everything so much that I decided that after July of this year, I would like to switch my wine club over to Hall from another wine club that I have in Napa. Very much looking forward to our next visit!“

“The Experience: Our Crown Collection Experience at Louis M. Martini Winery was an absolute standout during our Napa Valley trip, featuring incredible world-class Cabernet Sauvignons and a breathtaking setting.

The Highlight: A true culinary highlight of the tasting was their St. Agur Panzanella pairing (featuring olive, panko, heirloom tomato, black garlic, and chimichurri). The flavors were so phenomenal that we couldn't resist recreating an homage to it at home with peach jam on a savory thin cracker alongside a crisp Sancerre.“

“I felt this was the most unique tasting room in Napa. A very different ambiance with creative flare from the creators. Great history too. Ask for Bill if you plan on visiting. He is ‘all knowing’ and will brief you on how this place became what it is today.“

“We come to Napa Valley and St. Helena regularly to go to Clif Family Winery, where we have been longtime members. This time we decided to venture out a bit and visit Markham Vineyards. What a great find!! Zoey, our server was amazing, and we experienced one of the most enjoyable and memorable wine tastings we’ve had in many years. Markham wines are delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. Zoey customized our wine tasting experience and poured many wines she thought we’d enjoy. She also informed us about the history of Markham and gave us a tour of the facility, beautiful and fascinating. Overall, our experience at Markham was wonderful. I would highly recommend Markham when in the Napa Valley. I would recommend reservations. Enjoy 🍷“

“Most delicious, well balanced; perfectly blended wines. Estate host, Gregory Stevens, took us on a lovely golf cart tour around the grounds, vineyards, water features, and really made us educated and feel special. He was so friendly and our group really enjoyed him. I joined with a few industry folks, and they enjoyed this as much as I (not in the industry) did. And, at the end of the day, the wine, was soooo delicious! You can tell they focus on quality over quantity of different styles. Thank you again Gregory and Nate!!“

“We had a magical time at our wine tasting at the Saint! From beginning to end, the experience and the staff were excellent. I had accidentally booked our tasting for the wrong month, but the staff was able to quickly accommodate us anyway. The tasting was phenomenal, with four wines paired with complementary cheeses. We were looking forward to tasting some mountain wines for our last tasting of the trip, and we were blown away by the quality and depth of these wines! The tasting prices at the Saint are an absolute steal for the quality of the wines and the luxurious tasting experience.

Our wine-tasting guide, Christopher, grew up in the Napa region, and his deep knowledge of wine in general (from the vineyards to the table), and these specific wines in particular, was clear throughout our tasting. One of the things I appreciate the most about Christopher is that he is not only knowledgeable and professional, but he is also a great listener. He didn’t have a “spiel” or stiff monologue like some guides. Instead, he gave us key information as he poured each glass, answered our many questions, and talked with us about the nose and palate of the wines we tasted. His great listening was evident when he was able to respond to specific comments and make tailored recommendations based on the tasting notes we liked the most. We ended up going “off road” to try some different wines on his recommendations, including some incredible Night Wines (from a small-production, very high-elevation winery which I believe is owned by some of the same people who own the Saint—if you are in the bar, definitely try their wines!). Our group was very slow—we take a lot of notes and take our time smelling and tasting—but Christopher was very relaxed. He adapted to our pace and reassured us that we could take our time, which made the experience even more luxurious. When the wine started to go to our heads and we asked if there was any way if we could order an unplanned cheese tray, Christopher and other staff members quickly put together a beautiful platter for us with nuts, cheeses, crackers, and herbs. They were even able to provide some homemade gluten-free crackers when I let them know about my allergy. At the end of the tasting, we ended up buying several bottles, some of which we plan to put away in our cellar and are very excited to open someday.

I would highly recommend the Saint to anyone who is visiting the region and wants to try some top-notch, complex, highly structured mountain wines without driving up the mountain itself! Thank you to Christopher and everyone at the Saint who helped give us such an amazing experience!“

“Absolutely loved Beringer! And GG our tour guide while visiting was amazing! We did a wine tour of three wineries and this was our first stop. Dare I say she set the stand high for all the other wineries she educated us on the wine and the grapes we got to taste the grapes too which was one of our favorite things! Beautiful winery, came in on a Friday but she mentioned that Saturdays they do froze and live music and I would absolutely come back to visit for the live music the beautiful location.“

“We just did the tasting, but the guide was so nice and really catered to us. I love when guides don't just go through the motions and they ask what you like and cater the options to you. We liked more reds, so we did almost all reds and they were all amazing. The view there is so stunning compared to other wineries as well. We loved our trip.“

Then we grabbed a bottle, glasses and some food from the market and sat outside to enjoy our time there. It was a great experience! The staff is welcoming and the picnic area is beautiful and scenic.“

“Ordered a pizza for pickup through their system, went in to pick it up, waited almost an hour for it to be actually ready, however when my pie was finally ready the staff were VERY apologetic and friendly even offering a drink or side free of charge, food was GREAT I recommend the garlic fries, love the staff and atmosphere.“
