“My boyfriend had found this place as a recommendation for desert wines- wines that I prefer to drink. It had always been hard for me to find options at usual wineries as I feel most of them don’t carry desert wines, but luckily harvest moon winery did. The staff there were super friendly and educational on telling us all about their flight of desert wine they brought out for us, and we had a great time! I feel like I finally found a winery I feel like I can go to where I have more options to have wine wise. I will definitely be ordering a bottle soon! Thank you! 😊“

“This is the best picture I’ve taken of a meal anywhere. The food was sooooo good that I couldn’t take a “before” picture, only an “after”. This was grilled avocado. I didn’t even know one could grill an avocado, nor did I know that an avocado could be improved on. Now I know. 😋“

“Best sushi around. You could tell they put a lot of thought and effort into each roll to make it tasty and presentable. Not all-you-can-eat, but suprisingly not too expensive either. We were perfectly satisfied with what we ordered, and between two of us it cost around $84 whilst a dinner of two AYCE's at Paradise Sushi would be around $100 and much lower quality. Personally, I tried their Sebastopol, Stony Point, and Vegas rolls.“

“You know the food is good when Abuelita (did I spell that right?) is in the kitchen. I simply ordered a shrimp quesadilla with their handmade tortilla. Speechless. The handmade tortilla was so perfect that every time I go to a Taqueria now I ask if they have handmade tortillas just to see if I can re-create the experience I had here.. The shrimp…seasoned but not so over-seasoned that you didn’t taste the shrimp. The cheese balances and blends flavors and textures at the same time. That’s it, cheese, shrimp and handmade tortilla. I was in the area for work but I promise I’m gunna make the 1 hr drive back on my own time just to order this again. The chips were even homemade and oh my gosh they went so well with also homemade salsa.“

“Menu is a little overwhelming. It takes a while to read. A lot of rolls with made-up names. I’d prefer to just have a basic 10 rolls and then be able to customize. It’s great that they list the sauces they put in the rolls. But again, just the choice of adding them would be more convenient. The quality of the rice and other ingredients is wonderful. The rolls are delicious.“

I recently stopped by again because they have a special on certain days where you can get $3 fish tacos (yes, THREE dollars!) and they’re so worth it. Pro tip: follow them on Facebook and Instagram so you can catch when the specials are happening — it’s totally worth planning a visit around it. The food here is always made fresh to order, which I love because it means everything tastes hot, fresh, and just right. This time I tried the artichoke and the crab cakes, and I cannot stop thinking about those crab cakes. They were perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and full of flavor on the inside — not greasy, not dry, just absolutely delicious. The artichoke was also perfectly cooked and came out steaming, making it such a comforting appetizer to share. One of my favorite things about this spot is how cozy it feels. It’s a small, inviting place with a few outdoor tables, so you can sit and enjoy your food in a relaxed setting. There’s no big dining room “scene” inside — it’s more of a laid-back, neighborhood vibe, which honestly makes me love it even more. It’s the kind of place you can just stop by, grab something amazing, and take a minute to slow down. Every visit feels personal, like you’re supporting a local business that really cares about what they serve. The food always comes out looking beautiful and tasting incredible, and the staff is always kind and welcoming. This is hands-down one of my go-to spots, and I recommend it to anyone who loves fresh, flavorful food and a cozy atmosphere. I’ll definitely keep coming back!“

“When I was child my aunt lived on 7th St very close to the bakery my aunt would send us to buy some sweet French bread we would go the. tiny market and buy a cube of real butter my aunt would tell us not to eat the bread on the way back we did..“

“Louie’s Fine Foods in the historic district of Attalla is such a wonderful local gem.

I ordered the vegetable calzone and added fresh ricotta, which made it incredibly rich and creamy. The crust was perfectly baked and everything tasted fresh and made with care. I also sampled several of their house sauces with it — the spicy garlic oil, butter sauce, and pizza sauce — and each one brought something different to the table, but the garlic oil really stood out.

My mother ordered the Whiz cheesesteak sandwich and absolutely loved it. She said it was flavorful, hearty, and exactly what she was hoping for.

One of the best parts of the meal is the pickle bar that comes with every order. There are at least a dozen different flavors, all house-made, along with in-house sauerkraut. Everything we tried was crisp, unique, and absolutely delicious — truly something you don’t find everywhere.

I’ve been going to Louie’s since their Odenville days, and it’s been great watching them continue and grow into their Attalla historic district location. It’s the kind of place that still feels local, welcoming, and full of character.

The only thing that would make the experience better is a little bit more accommodating seating like booth space however that is apparently not available in this small space there might have been outside seating I can’t remember. But that is the only reason I give it four stars in the Atmosphere section. Booth would accommodate families better. But this is really a great place to eat. The staff was wonderfully kind and Louie himself was making the food behind the bar counter and very personable and kind. He was very interested in making sure his customers were happy and that speaks to the Wonderful mom and Pop owned businesses that you just don’t find in chain restaurants! I highly recommend this place!“

We are considering reaching out to see if we can host an event or have them cater our engagement party. I just want to share this place with the world it’s so fabulous in every way possible. Make sure you have the fried meat gyozas and the pork belly chasu!!! 1000/10 would recommend. Also their kimchi is to die for, I always order extra. I wish they sold it by the tub! “Such a cute Snoopy-themed cafe! The prices are very reasonable, the portions are generous, and most importantly, the food is really good.
The AC is great, so it’s a perfect place to hang out and cool down during the summer. You can also watch the ice skating right next to the cafe, which makes the whole place feel even more fun and unique.
