The food did not disappoint - but the staff needs to allow customers to have a less interruptive experience and just enjoy the meal.“

It turned out to be a good side trip though. We had a quiet wine tasting and enjoyed the quiet ambiance of the place. Martinelli has been in the area since 1880s and worth visiting.“

“The restaurant is usually pretty busy but we’re usually always seated without any sort of wait. (It can get pretty loud though if that’s something your sensitive to). Food is good, served quickly, and servers check on you regularly. The prices are also decent. Parking lot can fill up, but doesn’t seem to happen often.“

“I have been ordering from this specific Mountain Mike’s in Windsor since 2022. They simply make the best pizza. The dough is think and tasty and the toppings are plentiful. And their customer service is top notch, not that I have had to use it much.“

“I asked someone at a nearby business where I could find good Mexican food nearby and they suggested Martin's Taqueria. I'm sure glad they did. I had the Carne Asada plate with my choice of black beans. It had a generous amount of delicious perfectly seasoned meat cooked with just the right amount of char. The garnish was fresh and crisp and it came with sour cream and guacamole. My friend had the vegetarian Super burrito and was also impressed with his meal. I'll definitely come again when I'm in the area.“

Daniel (Pen-for-Rent owner): "Five years after Tisza -- pronounced TEE-sa, one of our all-time favorite restaurants -- left its former location in Windsor, my wife and I finally checked out its beautiful new home in Healdsburg. To our delight, we found that Chef Krisztian Karkus and his wife Alena (who has now moved out of the back of the house to charm guests as a friendly, attentive hostess/waitress) have made their restaurant's tastefully appointed new incarnation even better than we remembered it. What makes Tisza special is not just the wonderful food, drink and ambience but the sprinkling of rare (in California Wine Country) offerings on its menu, including mouthwatering Central and East European delights -- schnitzels, goulash, spaetzle, potato dumplings, wild mushrooms and, OH YES!, apple strudel -- reflecting the couple's background (he's Hungarian and she's Czech). While we didn't manage to sample everything that tempted us in this first of what will surely be many return visits, we'd be remiss if we didn't single out for high praise the house-smoked salmon with dill mustard sauce, pickled mustard seed and crème fraiche served over potato latkes. We think this fabulous starter might be more aptly named "salmon ambrosia." (If anyone can transform a fish into food for the gods, Krisztian's your guy!) She checked up on us to see if everything with our dinner was going well, it was!!!! She did demonstrate lots of respect, by providing a warning for a change in the environment. “Recently on vacation to the area and tried Mary’s for our first time. I have to say, I truly wish they went national. This was one of the best restaurant experiences that we have ever had. We travel all over the country for different reasons with our family and we were absolutely blown away from the moment we walked in the door. The customer service was hands down best ever. Friendly and inviting from step one. Server was friendly, polite, attentive and the food was amazing. Our young son bit his tongue, pretty hard and was bleeding a bit and they over heard and without prompt went into action, offering him ice, checking in several times and even offered him a little ice cream since he didn’t eat any of his meal. The entire staff was hands down amazing and the food was just as amazing. I have never dealt with such a caring and cohesive team. Not only our serve but other staff also stopped by to check on him. We didn’t try pizza on this trip, but the pasta and sandwiches were amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in the area and after 1 trip, I know why they have been around so long and had a great reputation.“
