Always a winner. I’ve dined at Ume many times and it consistently delivers. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes every visit enjoyable. It’s one of those places you can keep coming back to and know you’ll have a great experience. Highly recommended.
Great overall experience. Everyone so nice and attentive.
The restaurant is usually pretty busy but we’re usually always seated without any sort of wait. (It can get pretty loud though if that’s something your sensitive to). Food is good, served quickly, and servers check on you regularly. The prices are also decent. Parking lot can fill up, but doesn’t seem to happen often.

Umé | Japanese Bistro offers a great atmosphere with a wide variety of options. The Chicken Ramen and Fire Dragón roll were delicious. Despite some delays in service on busy days, the food is both tasty and beautifully presented, with prompt and warm service. The iron tofu steak and yosai croquettes are favorites, although some dishes can be hit or miss. Vegetarian options like the iron tofu steak and potato croquettes are available, but enoki mushrooms may not always be in stock.
The restaurant is described as a quaint, warm, and friendly place, with an entire page of vegetarian and vegan sushi options. The tuna sashimi and poke are praised as fresh and delicious, and the amount of food is considered worth the money. The new Happy Hour is also a highlight, with wonderful sake cocktails and appetizers that appeal to both sushi and non-sushi lovers. The service is warm and friendly, and the fish is of good quality, though a little thick for some tastes.
