“We eat here all the time…great service and really nice traditional Japanese food. This was a take out of the ramen (Chicken with shoyu). A bit salty this time, but fresh noodles. The veggies was lettuce…that was strange. Should be bok Choy or snap peas or broccolini, etc. But not lettuce, like leftover salad. It was also supposed to be 6:18 pickup. They then changed to 6:38. A bit misleading on their ordering platform (with the restaurant, not door dash or Uber Eats etc that takes away from the restaurant’s profits).“

“I’ve had a lot of Japanese food in Sonoma and across the Bay Area, but places that deliver this level of consistent quality are few and far between. “This is really a good restaurant and it’s located on Farmer’s in Santa Rosa, CA. I had originally gone to another restaurant but they were so “full” and I just wanted to get a meal to go and be out of there. I ordered the Shrimp & Chicken Udon Noodles box which consisted of the Udon Noodles, kale, bean sprouts, steamed rice, side salad with cucumbers and tomatoes with a Japanese dressing. A soup with tofu & green onions in a bone beef broth. Also, I order the Jumbo Tempura Shrimp and it came with a teriyaki sauce. A very good meal with large portions. Friendly staff & a clean environment which is very important to me.“

“Healdsburg's best kept secret is Otoro Sushi, but thankfully it doesnt stop at just sushi. I happened upon this restaurant after going to my favorite place to shop for landscaping sculptures and misc. decor in Healdsburg, Garrett Hardware which happens to Otoro. Today, on my way home from UCSF we decided to try it out and to say we were in love at first bite would not be an understatement. We started off with a bowl of their soup which was delightful followed by a serving of tempura vegetables 😋😜 and we could not get enough or pick which one was our favorite. Then onto the main course one Bento Box with Teriyaki Chicken and its sides along with our sushi which consisted of 2- California Rolls, 2-Shrimp Tempura Rolls, 1-Yum Yum Roll 😋 (My Favorite) It came by its name for a reason and finally a Jalapeño Bomb Roll which is going home to the boy . 👦The only thing I forgot to add is I cant wait to go back.“

“Wow, was in town and stopped in for take out. Great choice. Tasty food and large portions. Good kimchi, house salad dressing was flavorful and light, and the spicy BBQ chicken was tender. Could have been a bit more spicy though. So if you want some heat ask for it.“

“Menu is a little overwhelming. It takes a while to read. A lot of rolls with made-up names. I’d prefer to just have a basic 10 rolls and then be able to customize. It’s great that they list the sauces they put in the rolls. But again, just the choice of adding them would be more convenient. The quality of the rice and other ingredients is wonderful. The rolls are delicious.“

My go to is usually the gyudon bowl for 12 dollars you get a load of meat and rice this place does not skimp out! same with the Bulgogi bowl if you are looking for a sweeter taste. I finally got to try their wagyu meat plate and their black garlic ramen and both blew past my expectations! The wagyu hot plate came sizzling and was packed with meat and rice! And the garlic ramen was so savory and the noodles were cooked to perfection! Now that I know how good it is I will definitely be getting them next time! If you go the Karaage is a MUST GET! Cooked to perfecting this juicy chicken is made in house fresh and one of the best karaage if not the best karaage in Santa Rosa! Support your local businesses and show them some love!“
