Healdsburg's best kept secret is Otoro Sushi, but thankfully it doesnt stop at just sushi. I happened upon this restaurant after going to my favorite place to shop for landscaping sculptures and misc. decor in Healdsburg, Garrett Hardware which happens to Otoro. Would love to eat here again and will recommend it to someone i know who lives there.
We had a very nice dinner here the other night! We sat at the sushi bar and it’s obvious this is a local favorite.
The miso soup is deliciously strong and hearty with lots of tofu.
The salmon nigiri was deliciously strong as was the sweet shrimp. The uni was very strong and a larger portion than we usually get.
The baked salmon and baked scallop rolls were also delicious and the leftovers from these rolls made a fabulous breakfast omelette the next morning.
