By far the best winery in all of Sonoma County, family own for generations. Everyone working there is so kind and helpful. We have been members for 10+ years. You can ofter spot a Martinelli on the grounds. Beautiful grounds!
My husband and I had a wonderful wine tasting with Geoff last week during a getaway. We enjoyed learning about the history of the winery and trying a pinot flight. We shared our tasting with two other women on a trip which made for a fun experience. We also got a cheese board which was amazing and we appreciated having the option to get some food while trying the wine. The cheeses were great and well paired with the wine.
I loved my tasting at this lovely family winery. Geoff was so welcoming and kind to my family and his explanations of the wine and family history was fascinating. We came home with two bottles to remember and I’m excited to share them with my family in the future!

Martinelli Vineyards & Winery features a beautiful property with well-designed private tasting rooms and impressive historic woodwork. Known for their strong chardonnay game, guests enjoy trying all the wines on the menu. The welcoming and knowledgeable staff, including the host and others, make visitors feel at home and offer excellent recommendations. The Jackass Zin is a favorite among guests, often paired with great cheeses and experienced through a very informative tasting. The tasting room is beautifully decorated with a mix of historic materials, timber, and even a train engine bar side, reflecting the winery’s attention to detail. Visitors often leave feeling special and eager to return, especially if they sit outside in the tiered gardens with water fountains. The winery’s wines, such as Pinot Noir and Zinfandel, are highly praised, with some, like Jackass Vineyard Zinfandel, being so popular that they are hard to get without a long membership. The story of the Martinelli family, originally from Italy, adds to the warm atmosphere, and many guests appreciate the love and finesse put into each bottle.
