Very authentic Thai food and so fresh! Love the chicken khaosoi reminded me when I visited Chiang Mai. It came complete with the condiments: raw shallot, dry chilli and sour cabbage. The tom yum gung hot pot was so fresh and yummy!

KHAOSOI THAI ZEN is a delicious and comforting Thai restaurant in east Santa Rosa. It is a new, locally owned business with a small, comforting space and incredibly reasonable prices. The food is great, with massive portions and a wide variety of options, leaving diners both full and wanting more.
The service is excellent, with staff that are always kind, helpful, and friendly. The chef personally ensures care for diners with allergies and greets customers. The owner cares deeply about the quality of food and bringing his culture to Santa Rosa.
Many dishes are highly recommended. The Khao Soi soup, a winter obsession, comes loaded with your choice of meat, like short rib, or soft shell crab, and has a perfect balance of tangy spice. Other favorites include the chicken satay appetizer, described as the most flavorful in Santa Rosa, Tom Yum Soup, Pork Basil Fried Rice, wings, and the pleasantly surprising asparagus tempura roll. Spice levels are perfectly executed. It is a great spot for a quick takeout order or a lunch meeting, with a great lunch combo deal that provides a second serving. Customers are grateful for this addition and excited to return.
