“Round Pond was an absolute dream for my bachelorette wine tasting! 🍷✨ From start to finish, the experience was amazing. Their communication was wonderful, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming.
The scenery was stunning — surrounded by lush greenery with beautiful views overlooking the vineyard. It felt so special and peaceful. They even gave our group a large table that felt incredibly exclusive, which made the experience even more memorable.
I especially loved all the thoughtful little details. They printed personalized menus for our tasting, which made everything feel so elevated and special, and they even let me customize them for my bachelorette! Such a beautiful touch. 🤍
The tour was also fantastic — short, informative, and really enjoyable without feeling overwhelming. It was the perfect balance of learning about the estate and enjoying the wine and scenery.

“It was raining when we visited so they set us up on the porch of the main building, which I LOVED. They had the heaters going and offered a cozy blanket. We were allowed to walk literally anywhere we wanted which was such a cool experience to see the bottling process and the cellar. All wines were delish and the staff was so friendly and attentive, especially Angela and Jeff(?). Would recommend!“

“You must ask for Keith when you visit O'Brien winery. He does a fabulous job of engaging and telling the story of each wine, and of the vineyard. O'Brien has fabulous wines, especially the Romance, the Chardonnay Reserve and the Estate Merlot.
If you're in Napa, make time for O'Brien and ask for Keith.“

“Ate there for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back. We're vegetarian but had no trouble finding incredible offerings. The mushroom/leek risotto was the best I've had. The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!“
“Awesome tasting at Caymus! Feels very exclusive and intimate, like no matter where you sit it’s just you and your group there. The wines are delicious, they let you take home the glasses you used and we got some hand fans as well. Dylan was our host and he was so knowledgeable, laidback, and made the experience great. The grounds are gorgeous, with purple flowers everywhere and beautiful greenery and trees. Also the barrel room was stunning too. Can’t wait to go back one day soon.“

“Bouchon Bistro was truly an exceptional dining experience. We arrived with very high expectations, given Bouchon’s reputation, and somehow the experience still managed to exceed them.
The service was absolutely above and beyond. Our waiter, Nick, was outstanding, attentive, knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a wonderful evening. What stood out most was the pace of the meal. We never once felt rushed, which is something we unfortunately find happens at many upscale restaurants. Instead, the evening had a relaxed, European feel that allowed us to slow down, enjoy our food, and truly savor the experience.
The French character of the restaurant was also beautifully executed. From the atmosphere to the overall dining experience, the theme felt authentic and intentional without ever feeling forced. It genuinely felt like stepping into a classic French bistro.
And the steak frites deserve a special mention—they were fantastic and one of the standout dishes of the evening.
Bouchon delivered on every level: exceptional service, incredible food, a beautiful atmosphere, and an experience that felt truly special. We came in expecting a lot and left feeling that it had surpassed those expectations. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yountville.“
“It was an absolutely lovely afternoon: food (bites) and wine pairing was spot on! Food complimented the wine, without overpowering it. Nice flavor subtleties.... creative, seasonal with a nod to agricultural stewardship (featured walnuts instead of almonds in a delicious white gazpacho.) Chef Oscar was approachable, friendly and very kind. Ditto with VJ, and well Jeffrey Mayo is a impeccable host. Wines were delicious, subtle and balanced, obviously created by well informed palettes. Went home with more than my share:-). Cannot wait to go back. Loved that the "reserve room;" was not stodgy, the garden area felt like we were sitting visiting with someone in their back yard.. Guess we were.“
“Our experience at Rombauer Vineyards in Napa was absolutely wonderful and truly memorable! We were welcomed and the host guided us to our beautiful, private outdoor setting for our wine tasting and picnic. The setting was simply breathtaking, with gorgeous views overlooking the valley, beautiful flowers all around, and especially stunning two-colored hibiscus (my favorite!) Our wine hosts were friendly and knowledgeable. And, of course, the wines were top notch—as we have come to expect from Rombauer. The Chardonnay and Merlot were particular favorites and absolutely outstanding.
Between the exceptional wines, beautiful setting, wonderful hospitality, and attention to detail, Rombauer created an unforgettable birthday celebration for us. Another fabulous day at Rombauer! Thank you!“

“We visited ZD on August 5th and wanted to share how wonderful the experience was. Our host, John, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the wines, and we had great conversations across a wide range of topics that made the tasting even more enjoyable. We also had an awesome visit with Barbie while relaxing on the veranda. Along with the wine tasting, we enjoyed the smoked salmon rillette and the cubano pork rillette—both paired beautifully with the wines we tried. We always have such special visits to ZD and are already looking forward to the next one.“
“We went to Chimney Rock as a spur of the moment visit. Rachael was our host and she was amazing! She was very informative while also being friendly and funny in a way that fit the vibe perfectly. She brought us a couple extra pours when we were asking about certain wines and it made the experience extra special. We left with wine we talked about all afternoon and can't wait to open. Anyone who's thinking about visiting Chimney Rock should! And they should ask for Rachael as their host.“

It's because they honestly care about the interaction as much as they do the food and wine—all three of which are exceptional. Go any time, but you'll discover this local gem makes sure you enjoy yourself from every aspect, without having to mortgage your home or take classes in oenology—not that's it a bad thing to expand one's horizons.“

“We are on a road trip through CA and of course wanted to make a stop in Napa Valley and check out a vineyard. Though we stopped by the Napa Valley Welcome Center for recommendations they weren’t super helpful. I did use their QR code to find “kid friendly” vineyards. Some of these vineyards were not that kid friendly once we started looking into them and calling around. Tres Sabores however was VERY welcoming to us and our 9 year old. The vineyard was beautiful and so peaceful!! My husband and I enjoyed the tour with Dave and learned so much!! Julie the owner also came over and spoke with us for a bit! We tried 5 different wines and our daughter was provided organic juice boxes, bubbles and coloring supplies. We had snacks for the table that all of us enjoyed! After our tour and tastings we walked over to the barn area and played with the animals. Highly recommend Tres Sabores not only for families, but adults on their own too!! What a wonderful vineyard and great experience!!“

“I made this reservation as an anniversary dinner for my parents who were celebrating their 46th married year together. First, I appreciate the staff for reaching out to me in advance of the dinner, in response to a message I had sent them, to coordinate with me so that I could handle payment of the meal without my parents receiving the bill. While I was not actually there at the dinner with them, my parents came home from dinner and were quite enthusiastic about how awesome the food was, how nice the staff were, and how great and unique the overall experience was. They are visiting from out of town and don't live in areas with super great dining options and so they were really blown away by the dinner. They ordered several things... a salad, the mushrooms, bread, the sea bass and rib eye ... and raved about it all. They took the included photos of everything they ate so they could show me when they returned home. :) My parents are currently in town from out of state taking care of me as I recover and receive treatment for a serious medical condition and so it was nice to be able to give them the break and have it turn out to be such an enjoyable experience for them. Their real reason for being in town actually came up at their dinner during conversation with the staff and the staff ended up sending them home with a takeout meal for me on the house. It was really, really sweet gesture. It's also worth mentioning that the takeout meal, a handmade pasta dish, was absolutely amazing! Thank you Golden Bear Station! <3“

“Good food and good service. The outdoor seating however is the stupidest set up I've ever seen at a restaurant. The tables are so mini and short, that you drop food off your fork before it reaches your mouth, due to the reach down, and the chairs are terrible uncomfortable. They're are hard and small. I understand the chairs and tables are cute but, really need replaced with something more practical and more comfortable for customers. They even have plants on the patio that poke you while you're trying to eat.“

“Hall Wines was an experience beyond anything that I could have imagined. When we came to wine taste at Hall, our expectations were not set. I've been too many wineries in St Helena, but I've never been to Hall. The grounds were absolutely immaculate. The winery was stunningly, beautiful. Our server Alfredo Hernandez was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, inviting, and a superb host. I love talking about wanting and asking questions as I taste and both Alfredo and Tom were both a pleasure to engage with. We enjoyed absolutely everything in our experience. We enjoyed everything so much that I decided that after July of this year, I would like to switch my wine club over to Hall from another wine club that I have in Napa. Very much looking forward to our next visit!“

“The Experience: Our Crown Collection Experience at Louis M. Martini Winery was an absolute standout during our Napa Valley trip, featuring incredible world-class Cabernet Sauvignons and a breathtaking setting.
The Highlight: A true culinary highlight of the tasting was their St. Agur Panzanella pairing (featuring olive, panko, heirloom tomato, black garlic, and chimichurri). The flavors were so phenomenal that we couldn't resist recreating an homage to it at home with peach jam on a savory thin cracker alongside a crisp Sancerre.“

“Out of all of the wineries/vineyards we visited, we got the best education from B Cellars. Forest was a wealth of fascinating information about how wine is made. While we enjoyed our tasty charcuterie spread with our tastings, he showed us maps of all of the vineyards in the valley and explained the importance of the location of where a grape comes from. Our private tour of this stunning winery also included the caves, their gardens, honey bees, and it's production facility-all meticulously maintained. Wonderful experience.“

“We come to Napa Valley and St. Helena regularly to go to Clif Family Winery, where we have been longtime members. This time we decided to venture out a bit and visit Markham Vineyards. What a great find!! Zoey, our server was amazing, and we experienced one of the most enjoyable and memorable wine tastings we’ve had in many years. Markham wines are delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. Zoey customized our wine tasting experience and poured many wines she thought we’d enjoy. She also informed us about the history of Markham and gave us a tour of the facility, beautiful and fascinating. Overall, our experience at Markham was wonderful. I would highly recommend Markham when in the Napa Valley. I would recommend reservations. Enjoy 🍷“

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Cakebread Cellars, and it was easily the #1 wine tasting and tour experience for our family in Napa Valley.
A very special thank you to Janie, who made our visit truly unforgettable. We were traveling with our 8-year-old daughter, and Janie did such an amazing job explaining everything in a way that was interesting, engaging, and easy for her to understand as well. She made our entire family feel incredibly welcome, and her warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail made the experience so much more than just a wine tasting.
If we lived a little closer, we honestly would have loved to join the wine club. Unfortunately, distance makes that difficult, which is probably the only disappointing part of the experience!
The next time we come back to Napa Valley, Cakebread will absolutely be our first stop. We brought home some Cakebread souvenirs and a bottle of Reserve wine, and we are saving them for a very special occasion because they now remind us of such a wonderful family memory.
Thank you again, Janie, for making our visit so memorable. We will continue recommending Cakebread Cellars to our friends and family without hesitation. Truly a five-star experience from beginning to end.“
