“The wine tasting was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property was absolutely stunning. The atmosphere felt elegant yet welcoming. We enjoyed the insightful explanations about the vineyard, the history and of course, the wine. Juan was an excellent host and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend visiting. We can’t wait to go back.“
“A warm welcome from the female host when we arrived. We had not booked, but walk-ins are welcome. We were given a Sav B as a greeting to drink. It was from the Miljenko Selection and was the best Sav B we tasted in our 3 days in Napa. Seated in the delightful garden patio area and Ryan was our tasting host. The Cab Savs were interesting to taste side by side, the 2021 and the 2015 and both very good. We also tasted a Zin and Ryan told us all about Mike Grgich's wine journey and how Zinfandel came to be in USA. We came here because we had heard about the Judgement of Paris and looked forward to tasting the Chardonnay. Both were exceptional. Truly excellent. The 2023 from the Miljenko Selection and the top of the top, the 2023 Paris '76 from a select section of the vineyard. Suitcase space meant we had to be incredibly select on our first visit to Napa, but the Paris' 76 had to be purchased. I could easily have also bought the Sav B and the other Chardonnay and the 2018 Violetta dessert wine, which a total treat to taste. And the Napa Wine train tooted and stopped outside. Had a lovely chat with the train driver. The grounds at Grgich are beautifully kept and we highly recommend you go and try it for yourselves. Raising a beret to Mike!“
“It was raining when we visited so they set us up on the porch of the main building, which I LOVED. They had the heaters going and offered a cozy blanket. We were allowed to walk literally anywhere we wanted which was such a cool experience to see the bottling process and the cellar. All wines were delish and the staff was so friendly and attentive, especially Angela and Jeff(?). Would recommend!“
“I’ve been a wine club member for nine years, but I live in North Carolina and have limited opportunities to actually visit in person. I had the opportunity to make a visit Thursday, and it was truly spectacular. Everyone made a wonderful attempt to make me feel so special and I thoroughly enjoyed the club experience wine tasting. Chef Nic and Todd put on a world class tasting and I can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in town. Katie helped me book the reservation via text and it was so seamless! The entire course of food was amazing! Thank you, Chef Nic! Todd was great conducting the actual wine tasting, He was super knowledgeable about the history of Peru and was completely personable about his journey from OH to get there, but also just present enough to make it a thoroughly enjoyable two hours with my colleague! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!“
“My wife and I had an amazing tasting during our visit. We elected to sample the Clone wines. Dan was an amazing host and very knowledgeable about the wines we tried. Out of all the wineries we visited this was the only Club we joined. Can’t wait to receive the shipment we purchased at the property! Even more excited about the future club shipments. Thanks for being a wonderful host and creating an amazing experience for us.“

“We absolutely loved O’Brien. The property is absolutely stunning and the perfect place to spend a relaxing afternoon enjoying incredible wine. The hospitality by Keith, our host, and Bart, the owner, were superb. They spent time telling us the story of the wine and introduced us to the goats. We had the best time and could’ve stayed all day.“

“Sequoia Grove is a spectacular destination if you are looking for a calm, and relaxed wine tasting in Napa.
🌿 The Vibe & Grounds: We enjoyed our tasting outside on the beautiful patio. It is pleasantly shaded and sits very close to the stunning sequoia trees. Afterward, we were able to walk around and explore the vineyard, which was a major highlight.
🍷 The Food & Wine (Plus a Warning!): We opted for the food pairing, and the bites were exceptionally high quality and delicious. However, note that the local birds on the patio can get quite aggressive! They will literally try to jump on the table to eat your food if you aren't paying attention. It's nothing that ruins the experience, but visitors should definitely be alert.
🚗 Logistics: Parking on-site was quick and easy. Note that you definitely want to book in advance—we easily secured our reservation ahead of time using their official website. Highly professional staff and a great layout.“

“Ate there for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back. We're vegetarian but had no trouble finding incredible offerings. The mushroom/leek risotto was the best I've had. The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!“
“We have been members of Trefethen Winery for many years and they never disappoint us“
“Lets start with my wife loves to wine taste and we have been to a number of places of the years. Some have amazing wine others great properties and some the wine host makes the place.
In this case all boxes were checked. Not one of the wines we tasted was anything less than amazing most places we may like at best 50% of the options.
The grounds and facility was beautiful. As a medium size group felt well attended to.
But I must say the one thing that made it over the top was Whitney!!! Not only was she a pleasure to be around, she knew the wines as if she made them herself. Her knowledge on the valleys history and the history of the family was so great. She could not have added anything to make our experience better.
I will make the assumption the other host are also great, but. I can only confirm her exceptional service amd knowledge made the experience next level.
Again Caymus you have a customer for life. Enjoy and cheers all!!“
“It was an absolutely lovely afternoon: food (bites) and wine pairing was spot on! Food complimented the wine, without overpowering it. Nice flavor subtleties.... creative, seasonal with a nod to agricultural stewardship (featured walnuts instead of almonds in a delicious white gazpacho.) Chef Oscar was approachable, friendly and very kind. Ditto with VJ, and well Jeffrey Mayo is a impeccable host. Wines were delicious, subtle and balanced, obviously created by well informed palettes. Went home with more than my share:-). Cannot wait to go back. Loved that the "reserve room;" was not stodgy, the garden area felt like we were sitting visiting with someone in their back yard.. Guess we were.“
“Rombauer was an incredible addition to our April 2026 trip to Napa Valley. The property is massive and easily accommodates larger groups and special events. With stunning views and engaging tours, this venue was surely a highlight from our trip. The cave & barrel portion of the tour was our favorite!
Kevin R. was our host and he was FANTASTIC. He offered delicious accompaniments with our tasting from a local chocolatier. I'm still dreaming about them! We truly enjoyed him and hope you're lucky enough to have him host your tour, too!
It should come as no surprise that Rombauer wine is delicious and a staple to your wine collection. We were able to sample their sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, and a few reds, rounding out a wonderful tasting.
Highly recommend a stop at Rombauer during your trip to Napa!“

“We had an incredible experience at Nickel & Nickel. The wines were exceptional, and the entire visit was beautifully organized and welcoming.
A special thank you to Adam, who was absolutely amazing. His knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm made the tour truly memorable. He took the time to explain the winemaking process, answer all of our questions, and made the experience both educational and fun. Adam went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and his hospitality was outstanding.
If you’re planning a wine tasting or tour in Napa, I highly recommend Nickel & Nickel—and if you’re lucky enough to have Adam as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience.“
“My husband and I visited the Handwritten Tasting Room for the first time for a bread and butter experience. Amy was a most amazing hostess!! The knowledge she demonstrated was top notch and she made us feel very comfortable. The food was delicious and the wine spectacular! We joined the club and look forward to much more with Handwritten! Thank you!“
“Was recently in Napa for a corporate event and visited Chimney Rock. Our guide, Gary shared so many interesting facts and stories about: Napa, the wine industry and the history of Chimney Rock. The wine was amazing. Great wine and great experience. Be sure to drop in if you are in Napa!“
“Leslie (I hope that was her name! The lady pouring tastings on Saturday 6/20 at 330pm) made the experience for us-she was so kind, offered lots of recommendations and clearly loves her job! We will come back in hopes of seeing her again as while the wine and cheese were great, the service was even better!“

“Clif Family Winery and their intrepid food truck experience define
what it means to stand out in a crowded field of wineries in the Napa Valley. Why, you ask? It's because they honestly care about the interaction as much as they do the food and wine—all three of which are exceptional. Go any time, but you'll discover this local gem makes sure you enjoy yourself from every aspect, without having to mortgage your home or take classes in oenology—not that's it a bad thing to expand one's horizons.“
“We are on a road trip through CA and of course wanted to make a stop in Napa Valley and check out a vineyard. Though we stopped by the Napa Valley Welcome Center for recommendations they weren’t super helpful. I did use their QR code to find “kid friendly” vineyards. Some of these vineyards were not that kid friendly once we started looking into them and calling around. Tres Sabores however was VERY welcoming to us and our 9 year old. The vineyard was beautiful and so peaceful!! My husband and I enjoyed the tour with Dave and learned so much!! Julie the owner also came over and spoke with us for a bit! We tried 5 different wines and our daughter was provided organic juice boxes, bubbles and coloring supplies. We had snacks for the table that all of us enjoyed! After our tour and tastings we walked over to the barn area and played with the animals. Highly recommend Tres Sabores not only for families, but adults on their own too!! What a wonderful vineyard and great experience!!“
“A very lovely surprise! Great selection of Sonoma wines, each with a flair all their own! A small volume winemaker and a simple tasting room. If you are looking for great wines, stop here!
Rod, our tasting guide, easily lead us through the selections available! His style made the experience even better!
I highly recommend Ty Caton wines for not only tasting but buying as well! We even joined the wine club!
A must stop in the Kenwood area!“
“What a unique experience! Our private tour and tasting in the pool house with Pamela, set up by Maria D'Ambrosio at The Harvest Inn, was special and the perfect way to start a couple of days in the Napa Valley.
From the unique story to the incredible wines, Pamela walked us through the JCB experience, how they make their wines, and the history of their family and their sustainable, all-natural winemaking without pesticides or chemicals.
One of the most eclectic and interesting properties we experienced. The sensory wall, including touch and smell, was an interesting way to talk about how people experience wine, and a walk through the red room and the winemaking area was extraordinary.
While it was a larger and more commercial operation, the experience was personal, and the wines we tasted were brilliant.“

“There was a gentleman with glasses at the front door who went above and beyond for my daughter and I yesterday. So kind, wish I’d gotten his name for this review, b/c he was certainly kind enough to motivate me to leave a positive review on his behalf.“
“I highly recommend going to ZD wines for 3 reasons: 1) the spectacular view from their porch, 2) the guides (ours was John) do a phenomenal job educating you on the varieties and the natural occurrence that makes each varietal, 3) and most importantly, their wine!“

“OUTSTANDING!!! Having some dietary restrictions with a set menu didn’t get in the way of a phenomenal meal!! Tania our server was beyond accommodating and cared so much to be sure our experience was 5 star. A wonderful way to start the new year. Will 100% return!!!“
“Hall Wines was an experience beyond anything that I could have imagined. When we came to wine taste at Hall, our expectations were not set. I've been too many wineries in St Helena, but I've never been to Hall. The grounds were absolutely immaculate. The winery was stunningly, beautiful. Our server Alfredo Hernandez was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, inviting, and a superb host. I love talking about wanting and asking questions as I taste and both Alfredo and Tom were both a pleasure to engage with. We enjoyed absolutely everything in our experience. We enjoyed everything so much that I decided that after July of this year, I would like to switch my wine club over to Hall from another wine club that I have in Napa. Very much looking forward to our next visit!“

“Out of all of the wineries/vineyards we visited, we got the best education from B Cellars. Forest was a wealth of fascinating information about how wine is made. While we enjoyed our tasty charcuterie spread with our tastings, he showed us maps of all of the vineyards in the valley and explained the importance of the location of where a grape comes from. Our private tour of this stunning winery also included the caves, their gardens, honey bees, and it's production facility-all meticulously maintained. Wonderful experience.“
“Little Vineyards is a beautiful property with a lovely staff. Scott was a pleasure and was very helpful in explaining the story and which wines to choose. Would definitely recommend coming here for a tasting and enjoying the beautiful view.“
“Love this place! The bacon tasting is amazing and a nice alternative to wine and cheese. All of the pairings were super flavorful. We also loved the pickle fritters and quiche trio. Come on a Sunday and enjoy the patio with music, you will not be disappointed.“
“These wines are incredible and it was a gorgeous setting! Zoey was very knowledgeable and navigated us through tasting some of the best wines we’ve ever had. She also gave us some great recommendations for dining and tastings in the area!“
“My wife and I had a delightful tasting at Cliff Lede. Outstanding wines and a uniquely pleasant place to be for an hour or two. Our host was focused on introducing us to the winery and ensuring that we enjoyed our visit, rather than pushing us to buy. We did however, find it impossible to go home without a good supply of Cliff Lede wine.“

Because that had to be cancelled, they delivered the wine to me today, along with a few bonus bottles! Love these guys! Thank you Ashley Cox, John Sundin and the whole Clif Winery Family! :)“

“We booked a tour and tasting on a lovely sunny day. We were joined by four other people. We enjoyed everyone's company, swapping Napa notes, while learning about the Cakebread family and wines. We were given a welcome taster of Rose while we waited for the session to start. An informative video was playing in the large room. Four wine tasting stops while we gained more information from our host Jeff. Seeing the tank and barrel room was interesting, as was getting to taste finger limes from the garden. A nice bottle of Cabernet was purchased for the suitcase home.“
