“Round Pond is the best! The concierge, Guy, and wine guides and educators, Juan and Cruz, make every trip there unforgettable. The location and tasting venue are gorgeous, overlooking Rutherford. And, oh yes, their wines are out of this world!“
“Beautiful seating among the cypress. Lovely tasting with a knowledgeable and pleasant server, David. Violet, the CEO, joined us for a few minutes. The comparitive tastings of the Chardonny and the Cavernets were well done. The five us had a very enjoyable afternoon.“
“It was raining when we visited so they set us up on the porch of the main building, which I LOVED. They had the heaters going and offered a cozy blanket. We were allowed to walk literally anywhere we wanted which was such a cool experience to see the bottling process and the cellar. All wines were delish and the staff was so friendly and attentive, especially Angela and Jeff(?). Would recommend!“
“We walked in towards the very end of their day hoping for a fun tasting on our way out of Napa, and boy did Peju deliver!
My group and I had the end-of-day tasting flight which was led by Robert on their staff! He gave us the background on the wines in the flight and even went out of his way to answer a barrage of additional questions we threw his way! He was kind enough to give us two additional little pours as well, which we greatly appreciated.
As a last-minute stop on our day trip to Napa, Peju was a pleasant little surprise! I'd be totally enthusiastic to return and try all FIVE of their Cab Francs that they've got available.“
“We had the most amazing tasting yesterday. Arrived just after 4, asked the lovely host (sorry did not get her name) to taste by the glass, instead she stayed with us and talked us through the wines. We did not expect this at the end of the day! It was our first day in the Napa, travelling from Australia, so it was so great to have this experience. Our lovely hostess & Chris were both great. Both so knowledgeable, attentive & gave us plenty of recommendations for the Napa. We appreciate this so much - thank you.“

“John took care of us and we really enjoyed the wines he brought out. We’re wine club members so we know how wonderful sequoia Grove wines are. We also purchased a 2019 Cab with our club member discount and had a great bottle for date night.“

“Ate there for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back. We're vegetarian but had no trouble finding incredible offerings. The mushroom/leek risotto was the best I've had. The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!“
“We have been members of Trefethen Winery for many years and they never disappoint us“
“An absolute gem of a winery—graceful, inviting, and memorable in all the right ways.
Our group—six adults and one very content 10-month-old (we called ahead to be sure he was welcome)—settled in effortlessly and were rewarded with an experience that felt both relaxed and refined. We chose the veranda, where the view opened onto a lush garden alive with movement. Between sips, we caught glimpses of hummingbirds darting like jewels, butterflies drifting lazily, and even the occasional chipmunk making a curious appearance.
Our hostess guided us through the $50 tasting with warmth and expertise, bringing each of the five wines to life with just the right balance of knowledge and ease. Every pour impressed—distinct, expressive, and genuinely enjoyable. And the thoughtful touch of applying the tasting fee toward bottle purchases? That sealed the deal. Each couple left with at least two bottles in hand—a testament to both the quality of the wine and the smart, guest-friendly approach.
Inside, a wall of glass reveals rows upon rows of barrels stretching into the distance, a quiet reminder of the craftsmanship behind every glass. You can wander through this space via the gift shop, adding another layer to the experience.
A place that manages to feel both elevated and welcoming—I’d return without hesitation.“
“The experience at Mayo is one of the best in Wine Country. Incredible ambience, value and hospitality. The chef curates seasonally menus matched with the wines of Mayo. Each course is explained in great detail and why it works so well with the paired wines. We have been coming for a few years now and always look forward to our return. Well done.“
“The tasting experience was amazing, and our host was so wonderful—warm, energetic, and genuinely passionate about the wines, which made the whole experience even more fun. The views were unreal, easily some of the best in Napa, and the value of the tasting was hands-down the best we found.
We loved the wines so much that we ended up buying several bottles, which waived the tasting fees and made it an even better deal. Everything from the service to the scenery to the wine itself exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend a visit to Rombauer—truly a must-stop in Napa.“

“O’Brien Estate was absolutely beautiful, especially near sunset. The hills were covered in blooming mustard greens, creating the most stunning backdrop. Arriving in the early evening made the experience even better—the golden light was unreal. Feeding the goats was such a fun and memorable touch and added to the charm of the property. A peaceful, scenic winery with incredible views and a unique, welcoming atmosphere. Heath was a fantastic host! Do not miss this place while visiting Napa.“
“We had an incredible experience at Nickel & Nickel. The wines were exceptional, and the entire visit was beautifully organized and welcoming.
A special thank you to Adam, who was absolutely amazing. His knowledge, passion, and enthusiasm made the tour truly memorable. He took the time to explain the winemaking process, answer all of our questions, and made the experience both educational and fun. Adam went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and his hospitality was outstanding.
If you’re planning a wine tasting or tour in Napa, I highly recommend Nickel & Nickel—and if you’re lucky enough to have Adam as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience.“
“Comfortable, airy tasting room with a knowledgeable staff. We were welcomed with a tasting menu personalized with our names, a nice touch. Tasted 3 excellent wines. Our host gave us information on not only the terroir, but also on the winemakers and why the wines had been selected for the Yount Room. Overall excellent experience.“
“My husband and I visited the Handwritten Tasting Room for the first time for a bread and butter experience. Amy was a most amazing hostess!! The knowledge she demonstrated was top notch and she made us feel very comfortable. The food was delicious and the wine spectacular! We joined the club and look forward to much more with Handwritten! Thank you!“
“I loved my experience at Chimney Rock! I did a tasting with Nancye and it was the best winery experience I’ve ever had. She was so fun while still being very professional. If every winery had a wine educator like Nancye, the industry wouldn’t be declining because she was amazing! Make sure to request Nancye and thank me later :)“

“We’ve been customers for 5 years now. Food is fresh, flavorful, eye popping, and perfect for sharing. We usually get one of their seasonal salads, a bruschetta or sandwich and polenta tots to start. For wine, ask for Keegan, he’s amazing.“
“This was our last stop after a day of tastings and was our most memorable! We did a tasting of the Cabernet collection and loved how knowledgeable our tasting guide was - he taught us about each region, even letting us smell soil from the different areas where the grapes were grown. The tasting room had a relaxing, welcoming vibe and was the perfect way to end our day.“

“Overall, I’d give this restaurant 4.5 out of 5 stars. Our waiter and the atmosphere were fantastic. Service was spectacular. To start, we ordered the beef tartare and French onion soup which were divine. The mashed potatoes were delicious with a fabulous texture. The salmon and gnocchi were executed well but the flavors were a bit underwhelming. I’d skip on those and order a steak.“

“The best beans, rice, and tortillas I’ve ever had! The staff members are warm and welcoming, it felt like eating with family. This was a last minute decision for us and we are so glad we stopped in, we’ll make the trip from Vacaville to St. Helena just to eat here ❤️“
“We voted this our favorite winery of our trip to Napa! Amazing wine, staff, and overall experience. We felt so welcomed and at home. We loved exploring the beautiful gardens and seeing the goats. Lowkey and such a relaxing experience. Everyone there is so sweet and wonderful. I already can’t wait to go back!“

“Hall Wines was an experience beyond anything that I could have imagined. When we came to wine taste at Hall, our expectations were not set. I've been too many wineries in St Helena, but I've never been to Hall. The grounds were absolutely immaculate. The winery was stunningly, beautiful. Our server Alfredo Hernandez was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, inviting, and a superb host. I love talking about wanting and asking questions as I taste and both Alfredo and Tom were both a pleasure to engage with. We enjoyed absolutely everything in our experience. We enjoyed everything so much that I decided that after July of this year, I would like to switch my wine club over to Hall from another wine club that I have in Napa. Very much looking forward to our next visit!“
“Wine was absolutely good rich on flavor.everyone was very nice and I love their patio“
“At my first visit I decided to become a member. The tasting room is very artsy, the grounds are small but nice to walk. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Additionally, you get free monthly access to other tasting rooms at couple of nearby wineries.
Wine taste is very subjective, so that's a bit more difficult to rate. What one person likes might be unpleasant to another. I've been at wineries where I don't like any of their wines, as well as one where I liked 9 out of 10 tastings. At Raymond, I like several of their reds, and all of their whites. Over all a very pleasant tasting experience worth repeating here and there.“
“Our first time wine tasting at ZD as first taste members. Welcoming host and staff. We enjoyed a leisurely sunny day tasting great wines. Victor our server was engaging and knowledgeable about the wines. We also had nice tour from Walter who graciously showed us the garden and grounds. We will be back soon. I love the non pretentious and casual setting. Keep it up ZD.“

“Out of all of the wineries/vineyards we visited, we got the best education from B Cellars. Forest was a wealth of fascinating information about how wine is made. While we enjoyed our tasty charcuterie spread with our tastings, he showed us maps of all of the vineyards in the valley and explained the importance of the location of where a grape comes from. Our private tour of this stunning winery also included the caves, their gardens, honey bees, and it's production facility-all meticulously maintained. Wonderful experience.“
“My wife and I had a delightful tasting at Cliff Lede. Outstanding wines and a uniquely pleasant place to be for an hour or two. Our host was focused on introducing us to the winery and ensuring that we enjoyed our visit, rather than pushing us to buy. We did however, find it impossible to go home without a good supply of Cliff Lede wine.“
“We had a wonderful time tasting at priest ranch last week with Francisco! He was so knowledgeable about the entire wine making process! He answered all of our questions with ease and showcased the perfect variety of wines. He was very accommodating to allergies and our scheduling needs. Thank you Francisco!“

“We had an incredible experience at Golden Bear Station. The food was perfectly cooked — from the salmon to the ribeye — every dish was spot on. The tomato water was such a lovely, unexpected touch that really elevated the meal. The service was outstanding, attentive without being intrusive, and the atmosphere was elegant with a fun twist of character, especially the red lighting. A truly memorable dining experience. We can’t wait to go back again.“
“Large tasting samples so he ready and eat something before you go 😊“
“A gorgeous, pastoral setting- freshly made pizza and a glass of Little Vineyard’s Band Blend red- what more could you ask for? Such a fun day! Such a friendly, unpretentious winery ! All ages represented - I looove that! The owners mixed and mingled with everyone- a super fun day for ALL!“
“Omg! Thank you Clif Winery! I had ordered wine back in February and was going to pick it up in May during my mom’s b-day celebration. Because that had to be cancelled, they delivered the wine to me today, along with a few bonus bottles! Love these guys! Thank you Ashley Cox, John Sundin and the whole Clif Winery Family! :)“
“We had the absolute best experience at Heitz with our sommelier, Jamie. He was the most knowledgeable guide I have tasted with in Napa. We enjoyed the fabulous wines and delicious food pairings while learning so much about the region and terroir. Heitz makes fantastic wine, and Jamie led a best-in-class tasting experience. 10/10 recommend!“

“The service at The French Laundry was truly incredible from start to finish. Every detail felt thoughtful, gracious, and perfectly executed without ever feeling stiff. The food was beyond excellent, beautifully prepared, and memorable but what really stood out was the warmth and precision of the hospitality. Such a special experience.“
“Visited on 4-9-26 with my wife and two close friends for a private wine tasting. My wife and I have been wine club members since about 2013. Karen set up a beautiful presentation for our wine tasting experience. Bethany conducted a brief tour and conducted our tasting. All in our party were throughly impressed with the wine pairing we had. It was apparent much effort went into what was on our plates. Bethany did a great job on the tour and in conveying her knowledge of the wines we tasted. We visited 8 wineries during our trip and Muscardini ranked # 1 in every aspect. I highly recommend visiting Muscardini if you enjoy great wine and top notch customer service.“
