With perfect weather, lovely surroundings, and great hospitality, it was a true standout on our first Napa Valley trip. “Finding wineries in Napa that genuinely welcome bachelorette groups can be hit or miss—a few spots earlier in our trip definitely turned up their noses at us. Grgich Hills was the complete opposite! From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel so warmly welcomed. The beautiful table set up and settind. Ryan guided our tour and tasting and he was incredibly friendly, never pretentious, and genuinely excited to share his knowledge and wine history with our group. “It was raining when we visited so they set us up on the porch of the main building, which I LOVED. They had the heaters going and offered a cozy blanket. We were allowed to walk literally anywhere we wanted which was such a cool experience to see the bottling process and the cellar. “My husband and I visited BV over Labor Day weekend. We didn’t book a tour in advance, but we were still able to enjoy wine by the glass at the bar & take in their gorgeous new building! From our first steps on the property, we were greeted by Joe, who was SO welcoming and made sure we’d still have a great experience without booking anything prior. Ranch 1 and 2 were some of the best wines we’ve ever had. Julia helped us & was so knowledgeable about everything and so kind! We loved talking with her. She made our experience there much more personable and fun. In particular, I loved all of the mood lighting in the bar area. It’s too bad wineries close so early - with the mood lighting, it looks like it was made to be used in the evening. In a dream world, I could imagine being in that room, in the evening, with a live jazz band playing. THAT would absolutely be a 10/10 experience.“

“Intimate setting with incredible views at this family vineyard and winery. Our host, Keith, was engaging, knowledgeable, and fun. The owner, Bart, stopped by to say hello and chat a moment as well.

The grounds are amazing as we could walk around and see the vines, the animals, and the garden.for the wine, all were delicious, however it was the best Chardonnay I’ve tried! Highly recommend.“

We especially enjoyed the reds, our favorites were 2019 Healy Cab Sauvignon and the Stagecoach 2019 Cab Sauvignon. All in a beautiful setting surrounded by the redwoods.“

The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!“

“It was an absolutely lovely afternoon: food (bites) and wine pairing was spot on! Food complimented the wine, without overpowering it. Nice flavor subtleties.... creative, seasonal with a nod to agricultural stewardship (featured walnuts instead of almonds in a delicious white gazpacho.) Chef Oscar was approachable, friendly and very kind. Ditto with VJ, and well Jeffrey Mayo is a impeccable host. Wines were delicious, subtle and balanced, obviously created by well informed palettes. Went home with more than my share:-). Cannot wait to go back. Loved that the "reserve room;" was not stodgy, the garden area felt like we were sitting visiting with someone in their back yard.. Guess we were.“

“Ok first. Food came out so fast, I was concerned it had been sitting already made. But instead, it was an amazing treat! I had the chile verde burrito - get it smothered! The chile verde sauce is absolutely fantastic, so delicious, tastes like it has been cooked for hours.
My brother had the carve asada taco salad, packed full of meat, everything fresh and so delicious. This place should be packed to the brim with how good the food is. There was a crema that had been spiced and seasoned with just a little kick that was also delicious. The fresh salsa tasted like it was made before hitting the table. 10 stars all around. Will absolutely come back here.“

Paul was such an amazing storyteller, taking us through the Ty Caton wines alongside the story of the property and the brand in the Sonoma Valley! “We have nothing but great things to say about Chimney Rock! My friends and I did a tasting with Gary one day, then I returned with my husband and parents two days later for another tasting! Every single member of the Chimney Rock team we met were incredibly kind, funny, and genuinely cared about the wine. I wanted to give a huge shoutout to our Wine Educator, Gary, as he made the experience on both days phenomenal. My parents have never been to Napa and they couldn't have had a better introduction with him as our educator. My friend group and I said the same thing - We want to come back as soon as possible because he made the entire experience fantastic for everyone! Also, the red selection at Chimney Rock is the best red wine we've ever had (truly nothing else compares) and we are looking forward to the wine club shipments :) Thank you, Chimney Rock! “I have bought wine through the Yount room for years. First went to their old tasting room in Yountville years ago and had the chance to go to their new Yount Room for a tasting in July. I’ve been on many wine tastings and tours. This is at the top for me. They have access to many of the top wines in the Napa area and were very knowledgeable about each of those wines. I found some of my new favorite wines there and love the atmosphere of the new Yount Room!“

“We are on a road trip through CA and of course wanted to make a stop in Napa Valley and check out a vineyard. Though we stopped by the Napa Valley Welcome Center for recommendations they weren’t super helpful. I did use their QR code to find “kid friendly” vineyards. Some of these vineyards were not that kid friendly once we started looking into them and calling around. Tres Sabores however was VERY welcoming to us and our 9 year old. The vineyard was beautiful and so peaceful!! My husband and I enjoyed the tour with Dave and learned so much!! Julie the owner also came over and spoke with us for a bit! We tried 5 different wines and our daughter was provided organic juice boxes, bubbles and coloring supplies. We had snacks for the table that all of us enjoyed! After our tour and tastings we walked over to the barn area and played with the animals. Highly recommend Tres Sabores not only for families, but adults on their own too!! What a wonderful vineyard and great experience!!“

“We were a party of 4, but last minute wanted to add a 5th person. There is no phone # to call, but i did attempt messaging them through the website twice, with no response.

It was a Saturday night, the restaurant was packed. The hostess allowed us to add the 5th person to our reservation with the soft suggestion we leave in 1 hr and 45 minutes. We were just happy they let us dine as a party of 5. We promised to eat, enjoy and not linger.

We were visiting from West Virginia with friends from Cincinnati. We had hired a driver we had met 3 years ago. On out last day we wanted him to have dinner with us, hence the last minute add-on.

My friends from Rhode Island had dined a month prior and raved about everything. So I was excited to sample the menu.

We ordered 1 of each appetizer except for the raw oysters and they suggested we do just 1 salad (bread & butter, bacon, boquerones, hen of the woods mushrooms, tuna, Manila clams, bibb salad). And btwn all of us we got the tuna au Poivre, the Niman ranch pork chop, 2 ribeyes and the cacio e pepe.

Every bite was spectacular. Every bite was flavorful and cooked to perfection. I had the ribeye which was perfectly seasoned, as well as the small potatoes and green beans it came with.

We were too full for dessert. But they still gave us a slice of cheesecake and macarons to sample and share. The cheesecake tasted like a Basque cheesecake bc it was so creamy and delicious. And im not a fan of macarons, but they were delicious as well!

The hostess asked if my husband liked his cacio e pepe, to which he responded, he LOVED it. They sent him home with a little extra, to take home.

We went beyond the 1 hr and 45 min. And they never once suggested we leave. It all worked out, thankfully.

Our wonderful driver contributed 2 bottles of wine from his private collection - Cab Sauvs from Shadybrook Estate and Acumen.

We couldnt have asked for a more perfect night to end our 3 days of wine tasting with friends.

Highly recommend Golden Bear Station, not just for the amazing food, but for the overall memorable experience. The personal touches made it truly special.

The Highlight: A true culinary highlight of the tasting was their St. Agur Panzanella pairing (featuring olive, panko, heirloom tomato, black garlic, and chimichurri). “Hall Wines was an experience beyond anything that I could have imagined. When we came to wine taste at Hall, our expectations were not set. I've been too many wineries in St Helena, but I've never been to Hall. The grounds were absolutely immaculate. The winery was stunningly, beautiful. Our server Alfredo Hernandez was knowledgeable, warm, friendly, inviting, and a superb host. I love talking about wanting and asking questions as I taste and both Alfredo and Tom were both a pleasure to engage with. We enjoyed absolutely everything in our experience. We enjoyed everything so much that I decided that after July of this year, I would like to switch my wine club over to Hall from another wine club that I have in Napa. Very much looking forward to our next visit!“

“My friends and I had an amazing time with Paul taking care of us, he was very knowledgeable and fun throughout the whole tasting -- and of course the wines were all lovely.
There were a couple of interesting rooms to peruse, showcasing soil from the different regions of Napa and Sonoma, interactive scents, and wine bottles going up to the ceiling.
Their outdoors garden was also a treat, with live animals and beautiful flowers.
