I have bought wine through the Yount room for years. First went to their old tasting room in Yountville years ago and had the chance to go to their new Yount Room for a tasting in July. I’ve been on many wine tastings and tours. This is at the top for me. They have access to many of the top wines in the Napa area and were very knowledgeable about each of those wines. I found some of my new favorite wines there and love the atmosphere of the new Yount Room!
Great experience doing a tasting here! Lisa was so kind and knowledgeable. She also provided some great recommendations of local restaurants. We ordered a few wines to ship home too. Highly recommend!
If visiting the area, this stop is must-do! My father and I set up a last minute tasting on Sunday, during Labor Day weekend, and we were greeted with enthusiasm and energy. My dad isn't a big wine guy and Sean in the tasting room walked him through his questions and made him feel at home. We tasted through five wines and learned about the history, winemakers, and variance in style. The wines, cheese plate and bottle prices were all amazing.
