We wondered in late in the afternoon and had a wonderful experience. We learned a great deal about the wine culture and were able to sample some delicious wine. I highly recommend the stop.
Leslie (I hope that was her name! The lady pouring tastings on Saturday 6/20 at 330pm) made the experience for us-she was so kind, offered lots of recommendations and clearly loves her job! We will come back in hopes of seeing her again as while the wine and cheese were great, the service was even better!
Sean at the Yount Room absolutely made our whole trip to Napa valley. He was so friendly, not pushy at all, and was extremely accommodating considering we wandered up with our dog. He got us settled in a spot on the patio, along with some water for our puppy.
After that, he walked us through a bunch of different (phenomenal) wines, asking enough questions to make sure he was taking us in the right direction, but without intruding on our day. Consummate professional service.
