“Ate there for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back. We're vegetarian but had no trouble finding incredible offerings. The mushroom/leek risotto was the best I've had. The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Our host, John, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the wines, and we had great conversations across a wide range of topics that made the tasting even more enjoyable. The restaurant is very clean, the food is flavorful and staff are super friendly and welcoming (especially Sandhu and Amrit). I honestly haven’t had Indian food this delicious since I visited India. I appreciate the long list of vegetarian and vegan options (which can be challenging to find in our area)…every one I have tried has been beyond my expectations. “Out of all of the wineries/vineyards we visited, we got the best education from B Cellars. Forest was a wealth of fascinating information about how wine is made. While we enjoyed our tasty charcuterie spread with our tastings, he showed us maps of all of the vineyards in the valley and explained the importance of the location of where a grape comes from. Our private tour of this stunning winery also included the caves, their gardens, honey bees, and it's production facility-all meticulously maintained. Wonderful experience.“

“Visited from the UK as my husband had a booked a special trip for my 50th Birthday. And all I can say is WOW! From the moment we arrived the atmosphere at your restaurant was buzzing! Our food was delicious and the portion sizes were great. Staff were all lovely from the bar staff to the waiting staff. We even met Eric (the owner) who just made my night! “We came on Valentines Day without a reservation. We were welcomed and shown to a lovely bench/arbor area with a view of the Cabernet vineyard. Our server, Charlie was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We asked and learned the history of the winery and it's owner, Ernie. The wine was complex and enjoyable. We had a nice chat with the chickens as well. (Their coop is behind the tasting area and we were encouraged to take our wine with us). They have some fun and interesting sculptures and windchime. Overall, a charming place with a personal touch and wines worth tasting.“

“On our visit to Napa we stopped here for a coffee and a piece of chocolate banana bread. It was so good we stopped the next day for breakfast. The place is cute, the staff is friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! Homemade corned beef hash and short rib omelette! The salad I ordered with omelette was equally fresh and delicious! Highly recommend.“

“We recently stopped by Hess to enjoy a wine tasting. Angus was beyond generous and kind. We had not planned properly for driving time. We also got caught in traffic due to road construction. By the time we arrived we were frazzled and very late. He made an exception for us to still enjoy our wine even though we were past their latest appointment. He also greeted us with a splash of wine, which we desperately needed. (I feel horrible, but there was a younger gal who served our wine that I just loved too. I just can't remember her name. The same young man who sat me, also he was dubbling as my waiter who gave me time to pour over the menu.. as soon as i made my selection and put down the menu, the young man appeared as if he heard te menu close, he was pleasently attentive through the meal. He was just a little soft spoken, tall and graceful in his gait, a gentle soul who beamed confidence in his tasks. The food was very good I had chicken masala with spinach naans(flat bread)..
