​🌿 The Vibe & Grounds: We enjoyed our tasting outside on the beautiful patio. It is pleasantly shaded and sits very close to the stunning sequoia trees. Afterward, we were able to walk around and explore the vineyard, which was a major highlight.
​🍷 The Food & Wine (Plus a Warning!): We opted for the food pairing, and the bites were exceptionally high quality and delicious. However, note that the local birds on the patio can get quite aggressive! They will literally try to jump on the table to eat your food if you aren't paying attention. It's nothing that ruins the experience, but visitors should definitely be alert.

“Once in a while, you come across a place that just feels right, taste wonderful, and you walk away with a smile from ear to ear. This is one of those places.
First time visitor, and definitely not my last, even though I do not live in the area.
I tried another well known bakery in the area and it didn’t quite hit the right note, but Moulin does.
From the location which is tucked away in the middle of a retail complex to the “new” coffee shop / bakery vibe, to the friendly staff, to the outdoor seating, and to the visually and tasteful pasties and cappuccino, everything is on point.
Cappuccino was served in the appropriate size and hit the right caffeine note. The pastries were not too sweet but oh so flaky and wonderful with each bite.
We loved it so much that we started with 4 items and ended up buying 8 more for the road.
Of special note. the passionfruit flan was delightful. Tangy, bright, and sweet in flavor.
This is a must visit!!!!“

“We came on Valentines Day without a reservation. We were welcomed and shown to a lovely bench/arbor area with a view of the Cabernet vineyard. Our server, Charlie was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We asked and learned the history of the winery and it's owner, Ernie. The wine was complex and enjoyable. We had a nice chat with the chickens as well. (Their coop is behind the tasting area and we were encouraged to take our wine with us). They have some fun and interesting sculptures and windchime. Overall, a charming place with a personal touch and wines worth tasting.“

I’d highly recommend Clos du Val whether you’re visiting solo or planning something for a large group. The grounds are beautiful, the experience was informative and thoughtfully done, and, of course, the wines were delicious! We had such a great experience and would absolutely recommend a visit.“

“On our visit to Napa we stopped here for a coffee and a piece of chocolate banana bread. It was so good we stopped the next day for breakfast. The place is cute, the staff is friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! Homemade corned beef hash and short rib omelette! The salad I ordered with omelette was equally fresh and delicious! “This was the last winery we toured while in Napa and it did not disappoint!

Upon entrance in their main building you’re greeted with friendly staff and served a glass of wine (which we ended up buying one of these bottles because it was so good) and were then paired up with two other couples (from NJ and IL) and our host, Simon.

Simon made this tour exceptional! He was friendly, informative and most of all his personality is what made all 6 of wanting to spend the rest of the afternoon there chatting and having fun.

The wines we tasted progressively got better and better. The caves were impressive and learning about the history was great.

After the tour we sat down in their patio which was equally impressive with all the arches with vines growing throughout. It was absolutely beautiful! They served our group our pizza (which they asked what we would like before the tour) and some tater tots with dipping sauce. This food was icing on the cake after the wonderful tour with our outstanding host, Simon.

Yep, we ended up having a few bottles shipped home as we loved this wine so much. Can’t wait for it to arrive.

The tasting room is small and intimate and Dan was fantastic, I truly enjoyed the experience, and purchased some really good Cab and Zin. “We took our vacation to Napa to celebrate our engagement and since this was our last day we wanted to just enjoy everything Downtown Napa had to offer. We took an unexpected visit here after being recommended to come here from a tasting and winery down the road, and were not disappointed. We had been recommended the pinot noir and got a glass of that (rather than a tasting). Nate was very friendly and an exceptional staff member who was knowledgeable about the location. We appreciated the history he provided about the place and the conversations had about the wines they offered. He was overall just a GREAT person to talk to and we enjoyed every interaction with him.

We had been told that we could dip the bottles in wax, and loved being given the opportunity to do that. That bottle we plan to open on our wedding or first year wedding anniversary(as long as it survives the flight home to NJ)! We'll be thinking about this place because of it! Service and staff is a 10/10!“

We ended up cancelling our final reservation of the day to hang out here until closing. The wine was delicious and the conversation was even better. Highly recommend!“

“I got the bacon breakfast burrito for 13$ and change which is a little cheap for Napa. It was the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in a while. Crispy bacon and the avocado was a nice surprise. Friendly staff, for a local I’m surprised I’ve never been here. I’ll definitely be back.“
