“We came on Valentines Day without a reservation. We were welcomed and shown to a lovely bench/arbor area with a view of the Cabernet vineyard. Our server, Charlie was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We asked and learned the history of the winery and it's owner, Ernie. The wine was complex and enjoyable. We had a nice chat with the chickens as well. (Their coop is behind the tasting area and we were encouraged to take our wine with us). They have some fun and interesting sculptures and windchime. Overall, a charming place with a personal touch and wines worth tasting.“

“On our visit to Napa we stopped here for a coffee and a piece of chocolate banana bread. It was so good we stopped the next day for breakfast. The place is cute, the staff is friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! Homemade corned beef hash and short rib omelette! The salad I ordered with omelette was equally fresh and delicious! “Paraduxx was a terrific experience from start to finish. Our host Chris was an absolute delight — charming, personable, and clearly passionate about wine. Having grown up on a vineyard, his knowledge felt authentic and deep rather than rehearsed, making the tasting genuinely engaging. A special mention too for the thoughtful barkuterie board prepared for Sam, our schnoodle, who awarded it an enthusiastic four paws up. A wonderful touch that shows Paraduxx truly cares about every guest — two-legged or four.“

“This was the last winery we toured while in Napa and it did not disappoint!

Upon entrance in their main building you’re greeted with friendly staff and served a glass of wine (which we ended up buying one of these bottles because it was so good) and were then paired up with two other couples (from NJ and IL) and our host, Simon.

Simon made this tour exceptional! He was friendly, informative and most of all his personality is what made all 6 of wanting to spend the rest of the afternoon there chatting and having fun.

The wines we tasted progressively got better and better. The caves were impressive and learning about the history was great.

After the tour we sat down in their patio which was equally impressive with all the arches with vines growing throughout. It was absolutely beautiful! They served our group our pizza (which they asked what we would like before the tour) and some tater tots with dipping sauce. This food was icing on the cake after the wonderful tour with our outstanding host, Simon.

Yep, we ended up having a few bottles shipped home as we loved this wine so much. Can’t wait for it to arrive.

“My wife and I visited Madonna Estate Winery with another couple while exploring California wine country, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We had an absolute blast! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Unlike some wineries that can feel rushed or overly commercial, Madonna Estate has a warm, family-owned feel that lets you slow down and truly enjoy the experience.

The tour was both informative and entertaining. Learning about the winemaking process, from the organically grown estate vineyards to the fermentation and aging of the wines, gave us a new appreciation for everything that goes into producing a great bottle of wine. The guides were knowledgeable, answered every question we had, and shared the history of the Bartolucci family, one of Napa Valley's longest-established winemaking families. Founded in 1922, Madonna Estate has remained family-owned for generations and is known for its commitment to organic farming and traditional winemaking techniques.

Of course, the wine tasting was the star of the visit. There was an excellent variety of wines to sample, and it was fun comparing notes with our friends as we discovered new favorites. Whether you're an experienced wine enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable afternoon, Madonna Estate offers an enjoyable and unpretentious tasting experience.

One thing we really appreciated is that Madonna Estate welcomes both reservations and walk-in visitors, something that has become less common in Napa Valley. The tasting room is open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with both indoor and outdoor tasting options available, making it easy to fit into your travel plans.

Although Madonna Estate is located in Napa Valley's Carneros region, it's just a short drive from Sonoma, making it an excellent stop while exploring both of Northern California's world-famous wine regions. Sonoma Valley is known for its diverse landscapes, charming towns, and more relaxed pace, while Napa Valley has earned an international reputation for producing some of the world's finest Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and many other exceptional wines. The Mediterranean climate, fertile soils, and unique combination of warm days and cool evenings create ideal growing conditions that allow grapes to develop remarkable flavor and balance. These natural advantages have helped make Napa one of the premier wine-producing regions on the planet.

Our visit to Madonna Estate was everything we hoped it would be, great wine, beautiful vineyards, fascinating history, and wonderful company. “I got the bacon breakfast burrito for 13$ and change which is a little cheap for Napa. It was the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in a while. Crispy bacon and the avocado was a nice surprise. Friendly staff, for a local I’m surprised I’ve never been here. I’ll definitely be back.“
