“We have been to Sonoma but this was our first visit to Loxton. What a pleasure! The owner, Chris, is delightful. He shares stories about the trials of owning a winery but with a charming sense of humor. I liked hearing the scientific side of grafting vines and the thoughtful approach to dealing with the insects and animals that are nuisances. Beautiful land and yummy wines! I’ll be back!“

“What a wonderful find. Popped in on our way back to Sonoma for a glass of wine. Ryan was so accommodating even though we didn’t want a full tasting and was more than happy telling us the stories behind his wines and their labels which were extremely interesting. The two glasses of wine we had (a Chardonnay and a Zinfandel) were outstanding and Ryan kindly gave us a sample of his wonderful Malbec. Would definitely be top of our list to revisit if we are ever back in Sonoma and just wish we could have accommodated more bottles in our suitcases.“

“Our group enjoyed the biodynamic tractor ride. Darryl was our driver/ host and he was so knowledgeable, he made it very entertaining. We throughly enjoyed every wine in the tasting. Out of our trip including 6 wineries we all picked Benziger the best for presentation, experience, and tasting. We will definitely be back!“

“Do not join the wine club. They do not disclose you will get shipments for a year and then when you cancel they continue to charge you and send shipments. I have cancelled twice but they continue to ship wine and charge my card.

They have now corrected the issue.“

“They had a live band the evening we went so it was a limited menu. We both got burgers and they were cooked well and brought out in a timely manner. Seating outside was very nice and the atmosphere was great. The bar outside kept our drinks fresh. Would come back!“
