“This place is a wonderful hidden gem filled with good food great service and relaxing environment! I ordered the veggie omelet and my favorite part was how fresh the vegetables tasted in the omelet, and it comes with a side - I chose the country potatoes and they reminded me of the breakfast potatoes my Nanna made me from scratch as a kid I loved this ! My husband just had pancakes but the pancakes are their own recipe from scratch and he enjoyed them. Service was for sure top tier , we were greeted at the door, and seating you get to choose your own place to sit and we were taken care of very quickly even though there was a nice amount of people in the restaurant. Everyone who checked on us throughout our meal had a good upbeat attitude we are likely to return tomorrow or the day after before heading home the food and service was THAT good !“
“The pastries, coffee and other baked goods are so memorable. I don't know how someone could just get one thing! The staff had electric personalities and very quick, which got people moving. There was about five people ahead of me but I was served in less than five minutes it felt like. I got an oatmeal latte with plenty of pastries. This is a must go to bakery! There's an outside and indoor seating area. Plenty of room for friends, family, and your pets!“
“We have never been here when the store was not remarkably clean, the workers were not incredibly kind and the wait was totally appropriate for either ordering inside or ordering online and picking up.Kid-friendliness: The kids literally scream with excitement when we talk about coming here.“
“Clare is an amazing baker. What she can do with pretzels and bread deserves way more than 5 stars. She treats everyone with kindness and generosity. She often tries out delicious snacks, like veggie turnovers, fig pockets, bagel dogs. She keeps the yummy surprises coming!“
“Accidental find....... quick friendly counter service. So many yummy pastries and combinations. Very minimal quaint seating outside and a few very cozy spots inside. If you ever find yourself in this side of town, it will be worth the detour!“
“Food was delicious, each entree was fairly big and felt shareable too. The lady taking your order was in a horrible mood and didn’t care if she shared it to others. Parking was a little confusing and seating it very limited. Pastries were very good too. We got the idea to come here because of sunflower cafe carrying their pastries.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free bread was very good.“
“WOW. How bout a cheeseburger in a pie. Yes you heard me right, not only a hand pie with the savory taste of a cheeseburger all in one, make it grass fed beef too, yup you get the benefit of Omega 3's & other health benefits while downing that cheeseburger pie. Taylor, one of the new owners stopped me in my tracks when he told me about the best seller. It sounded unusual but I went ahead & tried it. It was like a cheeseburger but not like a cheeseburger cause it's a pie too. They pack the hand pie with lots of ground up local grass fed beef. It was delicious and filled me up. Go ahead and order that pie and any other scrumptious pie on the menu. They have fruit pies, big pies and hand pies. And wish Taylor & his mom his business partner the best. Gosh it's great to see a young, local Petaluma entrepreneur have a dream and act on it.“
“Just picked up my lunch and the first sip to my long waited americano had a very bad after taste, in a figurative way because it was delicious. The lid you have doesn't fit the cup and as you can see on the picture, I had to come back to the office with a not very glamorous coffee stain on my blouse. Not mentioning the mess it left on my car's cup holder and the hassle carrying it because it didn't stop dripping. Not cool.I'm not sure if you'll keep being my favorite coffee place in Saint Helena because on top of this, you don't have the cherry almond scone anymore. The later is the worst.“
“I recently celebrated my birthday with a cake from Scandia Bakery in Sonoma, and it was a delightful experience! My wife surprised me with their red velvet with chocolate cake, and it was absolutely scrumptious. The cake was moist, the frosting was decadent, and every bite was pure bliss. If you're in Sonoma and craving a delicious treat, I highly recommend stopping by Scandia Bakery. You won't be disappointed!“
“Love this little place. The Alice in Wonderland art is so cute! We got potato cakes, eggs, and a quinoa bowl. All of it was good. It took a while but it's ok...I'd rather have food that someone put some time into rather than slopping it on a plate. Nice staff.“
“Get here early or you'll wait in line to get a table. Beautiful set up inside. You can sit to dine or just go to the pastry or bread line to purchase baked goods to take home. Love the French bistro vibe. We sat at the community table. Not too bad. Didn't like the cold air hitting me every time the door opened but, hey, I've got a seat. While my party sat down, I wandered to check out the pastries. Everything looked absolutely scrumptious! Difficult to decide but I ended up selecting these pastries to take home. You can also just order from here and bring it to your table. Blueberry Cloud Chocolate Croissant Apple Braid Jam & Cream When I returned to my table, my party had already ordered their coffees. Gorgeous gigantic lattes and I ordered a cappuccino. Took a minute for coffees to arrive. Dishes are large portions. Plated nicely and looked amazing. We ordered: A cup of Asparagus Soup - delicate but full of flavor. If you love asparagus, you'll enjoy this. Corned Beef Hash - generous portion of meat topped with 2 perfectly poached eggs. Hope you're hungry! Croque Madame Egg Breakfast Service was great. Our waitress was friendly and professional. She always checked on us. She had a great attitude.“
“Was in Sonoma for the weekend and my favorite dining experience was here! The portions and quality of the food are exceptional. The folks running the spot clearly have a lot of pride for what they do and really set my day off to a good start. I had the breakfast burrito and was overwhelmed by the amount -- but it was delicious. The jelly donut is amazing too. This is a must-do next time I come to Sonoma.“
“This bakery has THE BEST French loaves in the area! That said, don't walk in expecting your typical bakery. This is a *working* bakery and, walking inside, you stand amidst all of the equipment that goes into baking. Yes you can walk in (not too far in, it's tiny). Yes you can buy breads (& pretzels). Yes it may take a few minutes as the Bakers will walk out from baking "in the back" to assist you in your purchase. Yes they have a cowbell. Yes you may just have to "ring" it over and over. And over again. No big deal. Just get your bread because the bread is what you're there for. I've been here 3 times since I moved to the area and I love it. The employees have all been nice and accommodating and attentive (once they're out front with you). Also. If I cannot get to the bakery I have to be sure to hit up our local Whole Foods store *early* because ....1. that's where I'll find their French loaf (I love that they supply our local WF w/their breads!); 2. their breads are so good that if I go any later than 10am (11am, latest!), the store will be out of our favorites! I definitely recommend this establishment for their high-quality breads! Go. You won't be disappointed.“
“This place is a bread baker's dream!!! I have been buying Central Milling Company flour online for a while, but visited this store for the first time in October. It's so cool! I love all of the flours and baking supplies that they sell.“
“I’ve never been able to justify eating a cookie a day but that’s exactly what I did during my time in Sonoma. These chocolate chip cookies are quite literally the best find of the year. Go early and buy as many as you can without being selfish.“
“By far the best bagel I've ever had! We visited from the Midwest. This place was within walking distance to our Airbnb. We made multiple stops here. The staff were all very friendly! Service was a tiny bit slow but the bagels were hot and flavorful; we also weren't crunched for time. We sat around and people-watched while we waited.I got the onion bagel with vegan cashew cream cheese, pickled red onion, and avocado spread. The next time I'm in California, I will plan a visit around this place - mark it!The lemonade was also delicious! Can't wait to eat here again.“
“Wedding cake of my dreams! Absolutely loved working with Flour & Bloom for my wedding! From the cake tasting to finalizing the floral treatment, Ora Beth and the team are collaborative, creative and wonderful human beings. I got married in Sonoma in May 2023, with a wedding party size of 40 guests. We got the three tiered cake which was the perfect amount, plus some left over :) We selected the lemon olive oil and guava passion fruit. Truly the most incredible cake I've ever tasted. Not only was the cake gorgeous, but my guests kept raving about how it was the best cake they'd ever had. Would 100% recommend Flour & Bloom for your wedding or any event!“
