“This specific location is always filled with super friendly and helpful staff. They recommended I download the app for all the benefits, which I did and now love. But they also helped me figure out how to navigate the app and rewards system,
while I was ordering and they did it all with a smile on their face. The store is always super clean and my orders never take long. You really do have a great staff at the Santa Rosa location!

“Our experience with the Wooden Petal was fantastic. I ordered 8 pretzels for my husband’s birthday because he LOVES pretzels. I read great reviews on a few pages and gave it a try. The experience from start to finish was great. They were so friendly when I picked up my order. There was a little birthday message on the box. Such a nice detail. We warmed up the pretzels according to the directions and wow were they tasty! We will order again, for sure. Thank you for helping me create such a nice birthday weekend.“

“Waited about 15 minutes for an order that never came out. I eventually went back up to ask if they were still working on it and they said they actually hadn’t started it yet. I had also ordered two iced coffees, but one of the employees said they didn’t have any iced coffee up front and might have some in the back — though it sounded like he didn’t really want to go check — and instead asked if it would be OK to make an iced Americano.

By the time everything got sorted out, one of the breakfast sandwiches had already gone cold so I had to exchange it for another one.

To be fair, it seemed like most of the confusion was coming from their ticketing system, and the staff did end up giving me a 50% discount to make it right, which I appreciated.

“When I was child my aunt lived on 7th St very close to the bakery my aunt would send us to buy some sweet French bread we would go the. tiny market and buy a cube of real butter my aunt would tell us not to eat the bread on the way back we did..“

“I had the most wonderful time at Mad Batter! I came in for a last minute large order of desserts for a potluck I was going to and they helped me out so fast!! They recommended things to me based on like budget, taste, what would be most shareable, all the things!! Everyone there was soooo sweet AND they even walked me out to my car with an umbrella because it was pouring rain 😭🩷 Love this place you need to check them out! I wish I had photos, the desserts got DEVOURED because of how good they were. But I got the brownies, ms. Dollies, keylime and lemon squares!!! And then they gave me a peppermint cookie on the house which was just the icing on the cake🥲🥲🥲 They’re seriously awesome people!“

“I have tried some of their breads and they are OK. Could be better. Not on par with La Brea. The baguette looks good but only comes in French (sweet) not sourdough. They should start making sourdough baguettes. The batards are shaped too much like basketballs but do come in sourdough as well as the non-sour or Pane Francese. “Pricy but delicious. I don't remember how the service was, so I give that category 5 stars for now because I can't recall any complaints. As for the atmosphere. Well, it's in a mall with a fair number of stores, although I remember quite a few empty spaces. There are 3 small tables, 2 of which have 2 chairs and 1 having 3 chairs. There are also 4 cushy seats surrounding a table roughly 50 feet away. The atmosphere is not good or bad, it's just ... there.“

“My family had a Black Forest Cherry Cake made for my 70th birthday. I’ve had many of these over the last 45 years since stationed in Germany, this was a 5 star cake, moist, correct fillings, overall top 3 cakes ever. Highly recommended, and I don’t give 5 stars…ever.“

“So excited to see this in Santa Rosa. I had already ate dinner across the way when I saw this was here. I decided to order Clam Chowder in a bread bowl to take home which is about an hour and a half north of Santa Rosa. They package the soup separate from the bowl so it was awesome! The staff was friendly and I got my order quickly. We will definitely be back.“
