“Our experience with the Wooden Petal was fantastic. I ordered 8 pretzels for my husband’s birthday because he LOVES pretzels. I read great reviews on a few pages and gave it a try. The experience from start to finish was great. They were so friendly when I picked up my order. There was a little birthday message on the box. Such a nice detail. We warmed up the pretzels according to the directions and wow were they tasty! We will order again, for sure. Thank you for helping me create such a nice birthday weekend.“

“Lovely little bakery with scrumptious food and service. We ordered a sandwich, a loaf of bread (which they sliced for us), a chai, and an iced tea. All were wonderful. The chai was a house blend and had a good kick! There is indoor seating - about 3 tables. I enjoyed looking at the art by local artists on the walls. Plenty of vegetarian options. Street parking nearby. Quiet interior. My only complaint is I wish they had prices posted for most items, not just the drinks.“

I ordered the miso marinade salmon, buckwheat soba noodles, soft boiled egg, edamame, gome dressing, and the flavors were absolutely perfect. My husband ordered the Teochew braised duck leg, tofu, soft boiled egg, bok choy, pickled peppers. He said this dish was absolute perfection. Sublime flavors and unparalleled quality of ingredients. “I have tried some of their breads and they are OK. Could be better. Not on par with La Brea. The baguette looks good but only comes in French (sweet) not sourdough. They should start making sourdough baguettes. The batards are shaped too much like basketballs but do come in sourdough as well as the non-sour or Pane Francese. “Pricy but delicious. I don't remember how the service was, so I give that category 5 stars for now because I can't recall any complaints. As for the atmosphere. Well, it's in a mall with a fair number of stores, although I remember quite a few empty spaces. There are 3 small tables, 2 of which have 2 chairs and 1 having 3 chairs. There are also 4 cushy seats surrounding a table roughly 50 feet away. The atmosphere is not good or bad, it's just ... there.“

“Had these baked goods at the Wednesday night market. Idk what it’s called but the almond thing with the custard in it… have a napkin near by it falls apart in the best way. Im not sure I’ve had anything like it. There was also this cinnamon thing with a swirl and very fluffy texture. Incredible. I’m glad I over shopped and got myself 3 desserts to take to the airport with me. I would have regretted any other decision. The baker is really nice and is an artist, his supplies being sugar flower and butter. Incredible work.“

“BY FAR THE BESSSSST! I’ve gone to other places before and they are good but this place the first thing I was impressed by is how clean and cozy it looks and felt. “So excited to see this in Santa Rosa. I had already ate dinner across the way when I saw this was here. I decided to order Clam Chowder in a bread bowl to take home which is about an hour and a half north of Santa Rosa. They package the soup separate from the bowl so it was awesome! The staff was friendly and I got my order quickly. We will definitely be back.“

“The pastries are delicious, but such a huge assortment to choose from when you get there early. So difficult to choose one thing. You always wind up spending a fortune when you go cause everything. Looks and tastes so delicious. The crab croquet, Lemon croissant donut, pepperoni pizzeta and macarons are few of my favorites. One thing that I love is. The pastries are sweet but not overly sweet which is a plus.“
