“Our experience with the Wooden Petal was fantastic. I ordered 8 pretzels for my husband’s birthday because he LOVES pretzels. I read great reviews on a few pages and gave it a try. The experience from start to finish was great. They were so friendly when I picked up my order. There was a little birthday message on the box. Such a nice detail. “Recently moved here and have been trying some of the local croissants... haven't been impressed until I tried Red Bird. Got an almond and a chocolate croissant. Two things really stood out, serious layers and exceptional fillings. The chocolate was not too sweet and the almond had a deep flavor. I loved these croissants.“

They recommended things to me based on like budget, taste, what would be most shareable, all the things!! Everyone there was soooo sweet AND they even walked me out to my car with an umbrella because it was pouring rain 😭🩷 Love this place you need to check them out! I wish I had photos, the desserts got DEVOURED because of how good they were. But I got the brownies, ms. Dollies, keylime and lemon squares!!! “I have tried some of their breads and they are OK. Could be better. Not on par with La Brea. The baguette looks good but only comes in French (sweet) not sourdough. They should start making sourdough baguettes. The batards are shaped too much like basketballs but do come in sourdough as well as the non-sour or Pane Francese. Not only can you find their goods in the best local restaurants, but they frequently and quietly donate to so many deserving causes. “Always love a good pretzel. These do not disappoint. As good as Amish pretzels found in Reading Terminal Market in PA, the unequivocally best pretzels there are. A little more buttery here, but I'm not complaining.

“I’ve been here at least a dozen times, always smiles from employees. The cakes are moist and golden, I get my receipt every time to earn rewards. I’ve gotten many buy 1 get 1 deals for giving my opinion, it’s now my favorite place for cakes. Only complaint, I wish certain flavors would be around longer. I tried the gluten free option, was very dry especially compared with the regular cakes.“

“So excited to see this in Santa Rosa. I had already ate dinner across the way when I saw this was here. I decided to order Clam Chowder in a bread bowl to take home which is about an hour and a half north of Santa Rosa. They package the soup separate from the bowl so it was awesome! Next was the mini garlic croissants which was a little different it was on the sweeter side. There was so many options we didnt know were to start. We are definitely coming back here. “Love this little place! My husband and I are regulars. About once a week, we wake up and know that Cafe des Croissant is calling! We send out a message to the whole family who text us their orders and we go and get it for everyone. We love the BLAST sandwich the most. I also love their filled sweet croissants. It’s hard to pick a favorite because so many are good but the chocolate raspberry and cinnamon walnut stand out. My husband and I always take time to chat with the ladies behind the counter. They always greet us with big friendly smiles. I love always seeing a familiar face and happy regular staff members when I’m at a local business. Definitely recommend this place!
