Baguette
Bakery

“Great bread but order ahead. It's so popular there may not be much to choose from if you just drop by. Also, some breads are only baked on certain days because of the fermentation process. Whatever they have would be great but there's more choice if you order ahead. It's super easy and then it's there set aside for you when you get there. However, if you are ordering something like a baguette, or that woven olive thing, those are more crusty so take a look to make sure it's at the toasty/crusty level you want.“

“Creamsicle ice cream with a whole pint of craft beer? YES please. This place is amazing. The inside is colorful but also pastel. They sell delicious pies and savory waffle dogs because you can't eat ice cream on an empty stomach. But mostly importantly they provide craft ice cream cocktails.I decided on the black velvet because whiskey, stout, and chocolate sounded like a reasonable combo, and the toasted marshmallow fluff was just icing on top of the ice cream.“

Also did I mention that it’s all fresh !! their homemade ice cream is just a couple doors down, but they do sell some inside the store as well and oh my God I absolutely love the caramel latte ice cream!!! They also do a very tasty vanilla❣️ everybody who works here is absolutely has the biggest heart and is very kind. “Great cookies, however there has been a time or two when the cookie was not fully cooked. I don't like cookie dough or the taste of it. Nice and warm when you get them fresh and they are big cookies. Enough for 2 people to split 1 cookie, unless you are starving.“

Toppings frozen yogurt and smoothie bar Dessert • $
1533 Farmers Ln, Santa Rosa

“The smoothies are to die for as we ordered the Berry Good for You smoothie which includes real fresh strawberry, berries, yogurt and protein powder. The young lady who just started two weeks ago was so polite and nice while making the smoothie and assembling the best healthy smoothie we've had in a long time. She was so friendly and a great example of the good employees Toppings company hires. Thank you very much. The shop is located in a quiet shopping center next to a Japanese, Mexican restaurant and Togo's so you can have a nice meal and finish up with a frozen yogurt or smoothie at Toppings. Parking is ample and easy right in front of the store.“

“I NEED YOUR ATTENTION I am going through finances, receipts for entire year and noticed an inconsistency with receipts from here. So my understanding is cups and sizes are different prices correct? So someone getting the exact same order and cup size everytime the price is the same should be? What changes it?I only noticed the price is more than what you charge. By Oz and measurements yes price changes but same order each time you aren't charging the full amount. It's only by 5 to 15 cents each time but your business is losing money doing this. Its also not the same cashier each time it's someone different. So, I am not sure where in the system it's going wrong. But the cents add up, so I just wanted to let you know. =)“

“We came for the ice cream but would return for the paletas! Loved all of the paletas we tried - especially the cookies and cream, pistachio, and pineapple. They were perfectly sweet and refreshing and had just the right amount of flavor. The fruit bars had real chunks of fruit! The ice cream was tasty, too, but more standard. we enjoyed the cookies and cream and strawberry.“

Yogurt Time Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt • $
6599 Montecito Blvd, Santa Rosa

“You come to the heavy glass door, feeling the weight of your decision, knowing it was right. You earned this, you tell yourself. The day was long, and the challenges were many. So you heave that door open, and walk in, intensely conscious of the gravitic decisions to be made, just ahead. Without pause, you whip your head to the right, and behold an abundant, neatly stacked pile of paper cups, beckoning you. Your cup may be either conspicuously yellow, or not yellow; but either way, Its' destiny and yours are now intertwined. Unhesitatingly, and with the same air of confidence that you used to throw open that hefty door, you proceed to grab the smooth, bulbous handle, give it an authoritative yank, and hearing the characteristic low rumble you coil an intimate quantity of yogurts into said cup. You are not certain if the pineapple whip is going to mingle well with dutch chocolate. But, like an entitled 18th century imperialist, unabashedly mixing cultural traditions; unencumbered by convention, you sail into the dark and swirling waters of terra incognita, and never look back. The yogurt is in that cup now, and that cup is in your hand. But now, tempted by myriad bins of crumpled oreos, brilliantly-hued hard candies and gummy creatures, you demure, and realizing you are a grown up now, and yogurt is refined! Not some childish Halloween fantasy! you instead sprinkle some nuts on that majestic heap. Lots of nuts! But not just any nuts, Almonds! That king of nuts! You feel a sudden rush of pomposity and righteousness. You chose nuts. But then, looking down, horrified, you realize that your yogurt resembles that of a bitter, old, sad and shriveled codger, who has lost all sight of joy, beaten down by life, choosing only the most conservative of toppings from some long begotten era, self-flagelating upon the altar of righteous maturity. So, unbroken in spirit, with a renewed sense of purpose, you toss back the metal hood of that last refrigerated topping bin, scoop a healthy portion of tiny colorful juice balls on your now nearly full cup, and top it with a slightly dessicated brownie square. Now you think, now my yogurt is complete, a true expression of my triumphant vanquishment of those innermost fears and reservations, a reflection of my worth as can only be embodied by a mushy frozen confection. Still basking in that ebullient glow, you pay at the counter, marveling at the density and weight of that ephemeral creation, unspoilt in it's aesthetic symmetry and form. So enamored by your creation, you nearly walk out without even a thought of napkins or a spoon, but the clerk reminds you; for what is it, if not to eat? You've made it, and now... now you will eat it. And it will be good.“

“I am awe of this place! They have so many amazing options for popsicles, ice creams, shakes, and many, many specialty items! I haven’t tried anything I didn’t love - which is uncommon when so much variety is available! That would be amazing enough on its own, but they also have THE BEST counter service in the county. The people who help me have always been extremely professional, helpful, and kind. I hope Fruta is paying them well because they deserve it! Can’t wait to try more from the menu. Thank you Fruta!“
