Two Dog Night Creamery Ice Cream Shop • $$
9240 Old Redwood Hwy #100, Windsor

“Yum.Always a tasty treat. Love coming here for an after school treat for the kiddos. Also first topping is free, which is amazing!!! It’s the little things in life right? Well sprinkles are little but most places (over) charge for that something like that so I appreciate it being free cause my kids really love rainbow sprinkles. Also it’s pretty cool to see them make the ice cream for special orders like the unicorn sundae.“

“I love moxies, their froyo is better than anywhere else nearby. I would say most of the employees are friendly, but i've had a few bad experiences with a certain female employee. She gives so much attitude and has no sense of hospitality. It almost feels unwelcoming to get froyo there when shes working. Besides that, great froyo, great toppings. Would recommend.“

“I ordered an ice cream birthday cake online. The process was super easy and so convenient. On the day of pick up, I was in and out of the store in less than two minutes. I was super satisfied with the job they did on the cake. Not only did the cake look fabulous, but it tasted so good! I will definitely be using them again in the future. Thanks Baskin Robbins! You understood the assignment and put other ice cream shops to shame!“

“There's a line out the door before they open?! I was not aware. I waited in my car when the line was forming. Well now I know, and so do you. Such a lovely place to get loaves of bread, ice cream and pastries. They are so French in there and they are so good at pronouncing everything so beautifully. I was going to take more pictures, but I was too busy figuring out what I was going to get. The line went so quick so don't be intimidated. As we entered they had a little sample of cheesy bread. I love it!! So happy I finally tried it. I bought a sourdough loaf, and a Marie Antoinette chocolate pastry. It was delicious and oh so fresh. I made an open grilled cheese with some wagon wheel bread, and tomato bisque soup and this was just the bread I needed! My new favorite bakery for sure!“

“Dave’s sandwiches are absolutely one of the best in town !!! Don’t forget about the onion rolls and the Dutch crunch super super yummy. Also don’t sleep on the sourdough sliced bread. You need breakfast trust when I say their breakfast is delicious. You can have a burrito a croissant or an English muffin mind blowing really good and convenient. Also did I mention that it’s all fresh !! their homemade ice cream is just a couple doors down, but they do sell some inside the store as well and oh my God I absolutely love the caramel latte ice cream!!! They also do a very tasty vanilla❣️ everybody who works here is absolutely has the biggest heart and is very kind. They will definitely help you find whatever you need and this is definitely the go to place for all your little desserts or savory treats or a great place to grab some good champagne beer and don’t forget to grab your lucky lottery ticket on the way out.“

“We love this place. We have been to both locations (Santa Rosa the other one). Their ice cream is delish and good variety of flavors. They offer tasty treats as well. My only gripe, i wish they would change their cupcake GF option, it is always the same (been that way for years). My husband is a fan of their pies. This location gets busy during the warmer months so be prepared to wait in line if you come to the square during a hot day!“

Croissants

“Confessions of a Pastry Fiend: My Downfall (and Triumph) at the Downtown Bakery & Creamery Rain pattered outside, drumming a melody of comfort food cravings. Healdsburg Plaza beckoned, and nestled within its embrace, the Downtown Bakery & Creamery whispered sweet nothings (of pastry, naturally). We'd admired it from afar on past visits, but today, curiosity and rumbling stomachs took the lead. I, in my infinite wisdom (or perhaps denial), thought a biscotti with my chamomile tea sufficed. Pistachio and cherry, it promised, and oh, how it delivered! One bite and I was Alice tumbling down a delicious rabbit hole, compelled to sample every sugary wonder within reach. Macarons that sang opera in my mouth! Almond tarts that waltzed on my taste buds! I was a pastry puppet, strings controlled by the friendly lady at the counter, who, bless her soul, kept whispering, "Just one more..." But alas, even my bottomless pit of a stomach has limits (although, admittedly, those limits get blurry around macarons). I emerged victorious (mostly), vowing to return on a sunny day. Then, with a coffee in hand and a sugar-powered skip in my step, I'd conquer those park benches, one pastry sample at a time. Trust me, the crumbs tell a delicious tale. So, dear reader, if you find yourself in Healdsburg, heed my warning: the Downtown Bakery & Creamery is a siren song of butter and sugar. Resist at your peril (but don't say I didn't warn you!).“
