“I had the pleasure of dining at Graton Casino's Park Steakhouse last Saturday night, and let me tell you, it was an absolute delight! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect stage for a memorable evening. My fiancé opted for the filet mignon, which was cooked to absolute perfection and served with a delightful peppercorn sauce on the side—excellent choice, Marianne! I chose the Norwegian salmon, and I can confidently say it was another remarkable decision. Both dishes were skillfully prepared, showcasing the care and expertise of the kitchen. We both agreed that it was one of the best meals we've had in quite some time. I must take a moment to praise one of our server, Manuel. His attentive service truly elevated our dining experience. Manuel made us feel exceptionally well cared for. Additionally, we had the pleasure of being greeted at our table by Jackie, the front-of-house manager. Her cheerful demeanor and attention to detail made our evening even more enjoyable. Every aspect of our dinner was outstanding—kudos to the chef and the entire team at Park Steakhouse! “Always great customer service whenever we walk in. The group of young adults are always very nice and friendly, good to see that in a customer-based environment. This is the only ice cream store that sells Banana ice cream, cannot find a place that has any banana ice cream anymore. Adding the different ingredients and the staff mixing it right in front of you is a joy to watch. You cannot leave without giving them a tip, they work pretty hard for those tips!!! If You haven’t tried their homemade waffle cones you gotta. Friendly staff and owners. Clean environment and cute seating right outside. Located just off hwy 12. “Yes, I recommend Screamin’ Mimi’s, but after today’s visit I may need a new neck. SM’s has always had at least 2 easy-to-read menus viewable, at least one inside and one outside. Not now. Now the ice cream flavors are on just one electronic screen right by the cash register and it’s really high. As in Really HIGH. Lots of small print. I was wondering what kind of neck damage I was incurring while trying to read the menu. The group behind me had some little kids and the adults were having a hard time trying to read and translate (what’s lavender?) the list to them. Or, if you prefer a QR code, it’s also right next to the cash register. Don’t forget your phone! In other words, everyone who hasn’t seen today’s menu before they arrive will be stuck trying to figure out their order while standing next to the cash register, peering at a complex menu, creating a traffic jam and longer line. Please, Mimi’s, don’t have the list so high and don’t put it just before the cash register.“

But my absolute favorite was the lavender ice cream with the gluten-free waffle cone. I do not have a gluten intolerance, but I ordered it because the waffle cone was cinnamon flavored and it was amazing.“

“This specific location is always filled with super friendly and helpful staff. They recommended I download the app for all the benefits, which I did and now love. But they also helped me figure out how to navigate the app and rewards system,

“We ordered coconut, bubblegum, strawberry cheesecake, pistachio, and rose petal.

The coconut and pistachio tasted really natural. The coconut had a lot of chunks and wasn’t too heavy or too light, just the right amount of sweetness. The pistachio looked a bit too bright at first so I was worried it might taste artificial, but it actually had a lot of real pieces and didn’t taste fake at all.

For the rose petal, I’ve had similar flavors at other places that ended up tasting like soap or even fabric softener. This one actually tasted like rose in a good way. It was light and really well balanced.

The strawberry cheesecake tasted exactly like what you would expect, in a good way. It’s sweet since it’s cheesecake, and the strawberry part tasted like jam. It is a little on the sweeter side, but not to the point where it’s overwhelming.

The bubblegum flavor is definitely artificial, but that’s kind of expected. It’s bright blue and the flavor is really strong. What surprised me was that there are actual pieces of pink gum inside, so you end up chewing gum while eating the ice cream. It was a really unique experience. Also cone is not too bad but not too good. Just mid lol

Overall, I didn’t have high expectations but everything tasted great. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the staff didn’t seem very friendly. There was no line and I didn’t take long to decide, but the overall vibe felt a bit unwelcoming. Hope they’re having a better day next time. Next time I’ll probably just use the kiosk :)“
