“I entered the delightfully decorated entrance of the bakery or Boulangerie and was greeted friendly by an employee and then I saw the display case full of goodies and I chose a Croque Monsieur aka a big and delicious ham and cheese sandwich and I also chose a large piece of Quiche Lorraine and then I picked a Chocolate fillled Croissant and a small pastry of delicate bread stuffed with chocolate mousse and then it has a harder chocolate crust. It’s $3.00 and it’s delicious!! And that was to go so I went home and enjoyed by splitting them with 2 friends!“

The chai was a house blend and had a good kick! There is indoor seating - about 3 tables. I enjoyed looking at the art by local artists on the walls. Plenty of vegetarian options. Street parking nearby. Quiet interior. My only complaint is I wish they had prices posted for most items, not just the drinks.“

“I have tried some of their breads and they are OK. Could be better. Not on par with La Brea. The baguette looks good but only comes in French (sweet) not sourdough. They should start making sourdough baguettes. The batards are shaped too much like basketballs but do come in sourdough as well as the non-sour or Pane Francese. “When I was child my aunt lived on 7th St very close to the bakery my aunt would send us to buy some sweet French bread we would go the. tiny market and buy a cube of real butter my aunt would tell us not to eat the bread on the way back we did..“

I accidentally entered a much larger tip than I intended, and the cashier immediately called the owner and got it resolved. “My family had a Black Forest Cherry Cake made for my 70th birthday. I’ve had many of these over the last 45 years since stationed in Germany, this was a 5 star cake, moist, correct fillings, overall top 3 cakes ever. Highly recommended, and I don’t give 5 stars…ever.“

Well, it's in a mall with a fair number of stores, although I remember quite a few empty spaces. There are 3 small tables, 2 of which have 2 chairs and 1 having 3 chairs. There are also 4 cushy seats surrounding a table roughly 50 feet away. The atmosphere is not good or bad, it's just ... there.“

“So excited to see this in Santa Rosa. I had already ate dinner across the way when I saw this was here. I decided to order Clam Chowder in a bread bowl to take home which is about an hour and a half north of Santa Rosa. They package the soup separate from the bowl so it was awesome! The staff was friendly and I got my order quickly. We will definitely be back.“
