The Sunday fried chicken is legit. Very good. Great service and staff!
They had a live band the evening we went so it was a limited menu. We both got burgers and they were cooked well and brought out in a timely manner. Seating outside was very nice and the atmosphere was great. The bar outside kept our drinks fresh. Would come back!
Great place for live music on Thursday evenings. Food is good and lots of nice people. Personally I wish they had waiters to take your orders. Currently you have to order at the bar if asking for mixed drinks or outside for just food and beer. I love the chicken wings but order the sauce on the side. Each week is a different band. Try it out but get there early if you want a table.

The Saloon at The Jack London Lodge is a cozy spot with a nice homey feel, located in the beautiful hamlet of Glen Ellen. The bartenders are friendly and the prices are reasonable. With a cool and moody atmosphere, it's a great place to grab a drink or enjoy some good pub grub like the cheeseburger and sandwiches they offer. The portions are generous and the prices fair. The main bar area can get loud, but there is a quieter section too, and a spacious outdoor patio by the rolling creek where guests can enjoy a lively neighborhood vibe, wildlife views, and a dog-friendly environment.
The Saloon offers an excellent selection of wines, including Imagery Barbera and Passaggio Pinot Grigio. The grilled chicken pesto sandwich and the Southwest Salad are popular menu items, though some customers would prefer more seasoning in the salad. The bone-in pork chop with a luscious blackberry sauce and the Reuben sandwich, made with tender corned beef, melted Swiss, and tangy sauerkraut between homemade, perfectly grilled rye bread, are also highly recommended by customers. Visitors frequently praise the delicious food, especially the shrimp tacos and the pulled pork sandwich, which has been called the best ever by some. Service is fast and great, with live music and trivia on certain days adding to the fun atmosphere.
