“Stopped by here last month for a wine tasting with my girlfriend. We did the reserve tasting and it was a great experience. We arrived a little early but we were able to be promptly seated. The winery itself is quite small - which lends itself well to being chill and more intimate. The reserve tasting gave us a chance to try 4 of the award winning wines that have been made here - everything was excellent. This place specializes in red wines and you can really tell they've nailed it down to an art. I was especially a fan of the 2020 Syrah-Zinfandel. Service wise, our host was great. They did a great job answering our questions and checking in with us to see how we were doing. Would definitely recommend stopping by here - my girlfriend and I were only here for a bit , but I'd definitely make my way back out here (and stick around a little longer) the next time I find myself in Sonoma. 5/5“
“This place delivered a great experience for my parents and I. I’m sorry to have forgotten her name but she was so knowledgeable of wine and was generous in sharing it. Thank you for creating such a nice atmosphere for us. My parents are a little shy about speaking English as they haven’t been in the country for awhile now but with the beautiful view, the lovely service and excellent wine even my dad was cracking jokes. Also, highly recommend getting the cheeseboard. Most of everything on it was local.“
“Truly remarkable Pinots. Enough said. We are semi-local, so we know our Pinots.Our hostess was one of the owners, so super knowledgeable about the wines and the winemaking process.Tastings were $45 for at least 5 tastes. Fees waived with 3 bottles purchased.“
“Best kept secret of Sonoma!!! Such a cute wine and food pairing at this place, couldn’t recommend it enough! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and warm! You can tell this is a small run family place, we got to meet every person on the staff. and very affordable for what we got. We had such a lovely time, 10/10 recommend.“
“Just lovely! Stopped in to spend another lovely afternoon with Passaggio staff in their beautiful tasting room. There is indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of room for a group and the wine is amazing! They have music from 3:00 -5:00 and both times I went, the band was just right for the atmosphere! Which is "laid back fun."“

He offered great descriptions and context for everything we tasted, and knowledgeably answered all of our questions about the winemaking process. “We enjoyed our visit, the wines were good and the lady who served us was very friendly and informative. On the other hand, a small downside made us like the experience a little less: the tension created by what seemed to be the manager on the employees. She seemed to spend her time arguing with her employees in front of customers and putting pressure on them, which we found very unpleasant because from our point of view the service was excellent. As an employer, I do not believe that this is a good practice for both customers and employees. Otherwise the place was charming.“
“What a pleasant hidden gem. Our experience here was super cool from the moment we arrived. Andreas has a great interest in the comfort of the guess. His youth was in no way a hurdle for his deep knowledge of wines. He took much interest in the wine business and was very knowledgable about the wine he pours at Wellington and the family history. He certainly took pride in his job and is truly a kind hearted young man. Him and Maria are definitely assets to the business and play a huge part in why I will return soon. Their service comes only second to the wine tasting experience. It was hard not to purchase every varietal. Awesome wine making. Bravo.“
“Don’t miss this excellent stop in cute downtown Glen Ellen. Taste delicious red and white varietals, bubbly, and port. Something for everybody! Such a fun experience—it’s a welcoming, comfortable tasting room with a great vibe, including the background music and displayed local artwork and jewelry. The prices for their wines are incredibly reasonable and with a hard-to-find tasting fee of only $15-$20, you really have to check it out. Husband and wife owners, Ryan and Lindsey, personally welcome and serve and they’re very knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly committed to the quality of their wine.“
