“We had a tasting experience with Samantha and had a wonderful time. We are experienced wine lovers, and have been to many tastings around the world but this one definitely stands out not only for the fabulous wines, but for the expertise of our guide. She was extremely knowledgable about not only the area and the wines themselves, but educated us on the surrounding areas and the different terroir, which makes each wine area in Napa very unique. She taught us a lot of things that we didn’t know yet, and was very warm and genuine the entire time. We’ve been to some tastings in the area that are not this well organized and thorough, so we appreciated Samantha going the extra mile.
The wines were excellent and their different varieties of different years of Cabernets tasted together made this winery very unique.
This winery is a family run business, and we learned that one of the sons who works there full-time is also a builder by trade - who was responsible for the amazing interiors and high-end design finishes in the tasting room and the outdoor terrace. This place would be perfect for a higher end event!

“We had the pleasure to try their wine prior to our visit but so glad we added them to the trip. The knowledge that Juliana and Yannick provide for their own wine and in general the industry could keep you captivated all day. The two hours that we were there went by so fast and unfortunately came to an end. Seven Apart is definitely on the young end but what they have created so far and who they are working with should excite anyone that is in the wine industry. “O’Brien Estate was absolutely beautiful, especially near sunset. The hills were covered in blooming mustard greens, creating the most stunning backdrop. Arriving in the early evening made the experience even better—the golden light was unreal. Feeding the goats was such a fun and memorable touch and added to the charm of the property. A peaceful, scenic winery with incredible views and a unique, welcoming atmosphere. Heath was a fantastic host! Do not miss this place while visiting Napa.“

“Out of all of the wineries/vineyards we visited, we got the best education from B Cellars. Forest was a wealth of fascinating information about how wine is made. While we enjoyed our tasty charcuterie spread with our tastings, he showed us maps of all of the vineyards in the valley and explained the importance of the location of where a grape comes from. Our private tour of this stunning winery also included the caves, their gardens, honey bees, and it's production facility-all meticulously maintained. Wonderful experience.“

“Fontanella Family Winery was such a cute find—and exactly the kind of small winery experience that makes a girls trip feel extra special. You drive through the gate and immediately get hit with those “we’re really in Napa” views: vineyards wrapping around you in every direction.
We had a lovely private tasting, and it was the perfect pace—relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely fun. One of the highlights was getting taken down to the cellar and sampling wine straight from the barrel. It’s one thing to hear that wine needs to age… it’s another to taste it and go, “Ohhh, that’s why.” Such a cool experience.
The wines were fantastic—like “accidentally start doing bottle math” fantastic. And by bottle math, I mean we may have come home with 1, 2, or 10 bottles. I’m not an accountant, so I can’t be trusted with the exact number. I do know I grabbed a Zinfandel and wow—already looking forward to my next girls wine night so I can open it with a little dramatic flair.
They had several delicious gems, and the whole experience felt personal and memorable. Highly recommend Fontanella—and honestly, this is your sign to mix in more of the smaller wineries. They have so much to offer, and this one absolutely delivered.“
“My Wife and I had an outstanding experience in the tasting room with Alvaro after just coming across it on our honeymoon, Alvaro tailored the wine tasting around us and chatted with us about wine showing his extensive knowledge and educating us in a lot of different aspects about wineyards and how the wine is made. We bought a bottle of the 2018 Cabernet sauvignon which is an amazing wine. We can't wait to come back!“
“From my first wine tasting in 1972 at Louis Martini Winery in St Helena until now with almost 55 years in the wine industry this has been one of my most memorial tastings. Just being with family on a warm spring day in the Napa Valley hosted by a neighbor and friend at his family winery was a very personal, warm and generous experience. We found David a very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate ambassador for the William Hill Family. All my friends will know about this experience soon. Their Reds were very well crafted and the Cabernet Blanc was a surprise that I will remember for a long time. Viva La Difference.“
“James and Kevin were absolutely amazing. We just stopped by after meeting Kevin Corley at Monticello Vineyards. He was not open yet but he told us to go by Materra.
We were greeted with smiles and that was nice. James and Kevin took us in even though we did not have a reservation.
They wined and dined us. 😂
After all that, we purchased 12 bottles and became members. An excellent experience.

“This is the message that I sent to Hess today…
13 years ago on a business trip I stopped at the winery and bought a couple of bottles of The Hess Collection Small Block Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2013. We stored it perfectly in our wine fridge and tonight enjoyed it with a perfectly cooked medium rare NY Strip steak. This may be the best bottle of wine I’ve ever had the privilege to drink. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…NOTHING beats visiting the Hess Winery and drinking and buying your small block vinos! I’ve never sent a winery an email to brag about their wine after the fact, but damn this was truly magical. Please high five all of the hard working wine master craftsmen for me. You rock!“

“Quixote is a very unique winery! The history of the property and building is fascinating not to mention how they got the artwork for their label. We had a private tasting with Patty over the Columbus Day weekend and she was knowledgable about the wine she was offering us and the property itself. She even had a limited release wine opened for a previous guest and offered some of that for us to try as well. Definitely worth a visit!“
“Decided to do a private lunch pairing. Literally the best lunch I have ever had in my life, no joke. One of the many excellent items we had was a duck leg stuffed with andouille sausage… I had no idea such a delicacy was possible. Will definitely be back, thank you for the amazing experience!“
“We came on Valentines Day without a reservation. We were welcomed and shown to a lovely bench/arbor area with a view of the Cabernet vineyard. Our server, Charlie was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We asked and learned the history of the winery and it's owner, Ernie. The wine was complex and enjoyable. We had a nice chat with the chickens as well. (Their coop is behind the tasting area and we were encouraged to take our wine with us). They have some fun and interesting sculptures and windchime. Overall, a charming place with a personal touch and wines worth tasting.“

“I had the most wonderful experience at Sleeping Giant yesterday! I was hosted by Tony, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I not only loved the wines and hospitality but I also loved the property. It was a gorgeous day and I was able to sit outdoors overlooking the vineyards and birdhouses. To top off a perfect visit, the owner, Chris, came to greet me and chat for a few minutes. I thought this was such a great touch and made this winery stand out to me amongst hundreds of others I've been to. Bravo and happy to now be part of the wine club!“
