“Oh man, I have not a single bad thing to say about this place. Capo was the place in Sonoma that made me fall in love with this town. Obviously the wines are amazing but what makes this place better than any other wine bar is THE PEOPLE, THE AMBIANCE, THE MANAGEMENT, THE LOCATION. This place will make you feel like home. Dom, Dana you guys are amazing and anyone who walks in here — you simply make their lives.“
“The owner, Chris, is incredibly knowledgeable and always fun to talk to. Last week was my third tasting there and each time the service and wines have been excellent! Highly recommend!“
“the selection of wines paired with their cheeses and charcuterie was amazing!! Kara was lovely and amazing as well ! loved everything about my experience, would definitely come agian, and I joined the wine club .“
“Down to earth setting, casual and relaxing allowing for a great place to sit, enjoy wine and have a conversation. The Merlot is by far my favorite. As it has plenty of character, and an amazing finish.“
“Another winery recommended we visit this winery in Sonoma because of it's story, culture, and quality. Six of us did and it did not dissappoint. Jimmy did a wonderful job of sharing the family history, as well as the history of the winery. He also recommended great wines for us to sample and consider for purchase. I'm glad we availed ourselves to learning about how our Mexican brothers worked the fields, learned the business and became and expert, purchased land, started his on winery, and served two U.S. Presidents (Obama and Bush) and the California Gov (Swarzenegger). Oh, the wine is GREAT!“
“We had a great time here. The wine was great, the art, decor and music were awesome. But our host Brian was particularly special. We thoroughly enjoyed his hospitality and recommendations for our time in Sonoma. Thank you…for a real good time. 🎶“
“We hosted an elite group of women in finance for a half day networking event. The event was seamless and service was excellent. Great wine, food and vibes. Weather was top notch and the scenery was beautiful. Would be great to get a mic set up in the future if possible. Thank you Tess and team!“
“I had the pleasure of walking the grounds with Patrick who is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. I also want to thank Erin for being so kind and accommodating. I would come back just to see those two guys again. The artwork does not disappoint and neither did the wine“
“We had an incredible wine-tasting experience at Walt’s in Sonoma, and so much of that was thanks to our wonderful host, Debbi.
Debbi was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and took the time to explain everything in a way that was interesting, approachable, and easy to understand. She was friendly, warm, and exceptionally patient, never making us feel rushed as we tasted and asked questions.
What really stood out was how attentive she was to what we liked. She offered thoughtful suggestions based on our questions and preferences, and she even went above and beyond by recommending some great options for dinner in the area.
Debbi made the entire experience feel personal rather than just another wine tasting. Her knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine hospitality made our visit truly memorable. We would absolutely recommend Walt’s, and if you have the opportunity to taste with Debbi, you’re in for a fantastic experience!
Thank you, Debbi, for making our Sonoma visit even more special!“
“Such an intimate experience on a cold & foggy February morning! So glad I was able to get a coveted spot for tasting! Highly, highly recommend!“
“SUCHHHH A GORGEOUS wine estate and the service was also amazing. The wine was also amazingg I loved the sauvignon blanc and the grenache. They also took us on a little tour to see the cave and concrete eggs. Service was top notch and it was truly so beautiful.“
“This surpassed all expectations and felt like a dream. Stephen was an amazing tour guide. We started with an atv ride where we got to see more of the vineyard followed by a tour of the wine caves and followed by getting to check out their amazing inside facility. The wine, the atmosphere and the level of expertise shared was all out of this world!“
“We were recommended to visit by a few people and made a reservation. Theresa made it the best and most knowledgeable tasting experience. She gave us time, explained the history and wines, we saw the caves. It’s a very nice winery, great property and Theresa made it even better! We also enjoyed time with the winery pup Yara.
Thanks for making our anniversary trip so special!“
“The best winery in California! I would like to thank Don for making the visit spectacular he went out the way to greet us and he was so friendly. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to taste wine and check out the founder and history of wine in the US it’s very intresting.“
“There’s no better luxe wine experience than Corner 103 when visiting Sonoma. Voted one of the best tasting rooms in America, you are presented with a different wine glass for each varietal to enhance the flavor and aroma. For a very special occasion, select the food and wine paring experience. It’s worth the extra cost with a gourmet food parring unlike any other. This is one of the best wine clubs to join with their award-winning wine selection, distinctive events and personalized service.“
“Congratulations to this boutique winery! Their reds are smooth, pleasant and maturing. The story of passion and legacy will keep their production going for many years! Looking forward to returning.!“
“Thank you for hosting me and my cousin with such wonderful hospitality ! We loved relaxing in the beautiful and welcoming garden. With so many brilliant and delicious wines to taste ! The food is excellent, the wines are delicious with interesting choices, the garden is beautiful and welcoming and the people putting it all together are the best part of it all ! Thank you !!!“
“Been here a couple times and each time was a lovely time. My friend invites us here and he puts together a brunch in the picnic area which is a pretty cool setup. And the Nicholson Ranch is such a beautiful property. And has great views.
I couldn’t tell you about if they served food or anything because each time we visited we would first do picnic brunch then wine taste. The wine is also lovely. They have great selection of wine but I loved the Pinot Noirs.
The service is awesome. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. I don’t know if our wine pourer was a sommelier but she had lots of stories about wine and the Ranch. Forgive me I didn’t write her name down but she was very nice and can keep great conversation.“
“Awesome tasting experience. Great wines“
“While walking around Sonoma Square, we happened to pass this tasting room and noticed the tasting was only $25 for several wines. It was a refreshing change from the many places charging $50 or more for just a few samples, so we decided to stop in.
Greg gave us a warm welcome, explained the tasting options, and took the time to talk about each wine we tried. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience enjoyable from start to finish. We especially appreciated trying a few unique wines that really stood out.
We enjoyed the experience so much that we joined the wine club, which made our tastings complimentary. This ended up being the highlight of our time in Sonoma Square, and we'd definitely recommend stopping by.“
“Super fun tasting experience and the wines are like nothing I've ever had before in California. Hardey (the owner) walked me through the tasting and was super awesome to converse with, while educating me about the wines, the grapes, the techniques to making them, philosophy, everything.
Highly recommend this winery. The 2024 yeah! Was so so good, and Im still thinking about the orange wine.“
“What a hidden gem! Every single wine we had here floored me and punches well above its weight, especially the field blends and the moon mountain cab. Idoia was a fantastic and knowledgeable host who guided us through the tastings. We ended up buying the most wine here out of all the wineries we visited!“
“I frequent Peter’s winery regularly and absolutely love his wine but recently had the opportunity to enjoy the new vineyard lounge experience Peter is offering at his new vineyard.
This experience is very different from anything you’ll get elsewhere. Sitting amidst 16 acres of legendary Pinot noir vines, spectacular views to the mountains beyond and sipping Peter’s delicious wines at a leisurely pace.
We all absolutely loved the afternoon we spent with Peter and highly recommend visiting him either at his original estate or immersing yourself in the vineyards with his new lounge experience.“
“I had a wonderful afternoon here. I didn't know what to taste, so I was guided by Kim who was so helpful and gave me a great tasting experience! The courtyard is beautiful with olive and lemon trees, just lovely. I highly recommend this winery experience!“
“Great place to visit Great wine and food ❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻“
“My sweetie and I stopped by for the yummy wine and the overall lovely views! We were not disappointed!“
“Just left Ricci Vineyards and it was such a good experience. This winery is 5 generations deep and so authentic! Their story is unique and the vineyards are definitely worth a visit. Tyler had such good information and honestly, such a good history of every bottle. The Chardonnay will shock you, literally!! I am not even a Chardonnay fan, but I went home with multiple bottles. A few of their wines received 90+ points from James Suckling. You can’t beat it.
Even though, it’s small and not as known as some of the other wineries around, I definitely think you should call up Ricci Vineyards and make your appointment. It’s free, what do you have to lose?
Also, they have a brandy coming soon?? I mean c’mon a wine tasting followed by a brandy tasting? Winning.
A family experience is always better than a overhyped commercialized experience.“
“We stumbled upon this place by complete chance and we were met with surprise after surprise. Who knew about Kamen’s history ! Maybe people do but we certainly didn’t. It was really interesting to learn about his past - starting all the way back in india in kashmir and ending at where he did - a winning screenplay writer and certainly a winning Cabernet for us! This was the best Cabernet we had in the region. Not overpowering yet so complex. Mark herold is a magician with his winemaking and Kamen himself is a magician given everything he touches turns to gold! Great stop. Andi hosted us at the tasting room and was a great story teller! We would highly recommend“
“5/5 Stars: absolutely amazing day. And I do mean day! It's a full day event that is expertly paced. Start with a beautiful winery with massive views that you seem to have entirely to yourself. Then a more busy piazza-like winery for lunch, and more wine. Then two more wineries, and as if they read my mind, with a relaxed pace and even time to sit and enjoy a bottle.
Shout-out to Michael, the driver and guide. Great stories, sense of humor, and even helped us get back to our hotel when we lost track of how many bottles we had purchased along this adventure.
5/5 Stars. Will absolutely be doing this again.“
“If you get a chance to do a tasting at the production facility with Grant or one of his hospitality team, jump on it! Just a great experience all round - great wines, thoughtful, knowledgeable hosts, and great to see the effort that goes into every detail of the production process.“
“We truly enjoyed this cave tour, tasting, and tour through the winery. If you want to learn everything about wine in Sonoma Valley, including the history, growing and winemaking process, and science, all while tasting great wine and being in the company of a fantastic host, this is your place to go!“
“Delicious food, great for taking photos and relaxing, relaxed atmosphere“
“The wine doesn't taste good.
Probably because of European Italian wine, the taste is very bland, without layers, and very dry.
Except for the first glass of sparkling rose, which was okay, the rest of the red was not good.“
“Really lovely, calm, beautiful, scenic winery. Staff were are very nice and helpful. Lovely relaxed vibes on a weekday afternoon. Lovely wine but would come just for the level setting even if you weren’t a big wine fan. Would highly suggest, out of all the wineries we went to this was defiantly the best experience we had!!“
“Excellent Pinot Noirs, Neil is terrific.“
“We biked to this winery as part of our birthday celebration! It was an absolute delight meeting Bill and hearing his story of being a certified organic winery. Let me just say wow! His wines are truly something special and his hospitality is second to none. Cheers Bill and thanks for the birthday cupcakes!!“
“Wow, what a great find! We visited Ceja through Sonoma Bike Tours- and we had a fantastic time. My party is well versed in wine and well travelled- and we were impressed with our Ceja experience! The wine (especially the Chardonnay, red blend, and dessert wine) was consistently great. I highly recommend doing the wine tasting.Don’t miss out about learning about the family story, too!“
“My husband and I loved our tasting with Katy. She truly is a master vintner. Thank you for a memorable afternoon!!“
“Terrific wines. Many Pinots, Chards and Cabs.“
“I’ve been a member of Cliff Lede and several Wilson wineries, all of which I love, but this has become my favorite. I think Shane is an excellent winemaker and the variety of wines is amazing. I drink mostly reds (love especially the Hermit blend and blaufrankisch as well as the cab franc) but the Albariño white is excellent as well. The virtual tastings in the past two years have also been great introductions to the wines. Highly recommend.“
“Viansa Winery is a beautiful place to experience the best of Sonoma! The scenery is stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming, and the overall setting makes for a truly memorable visit. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the relaxed and enjoyable experience. A wonderful destination with gorgeous views and a fantastic Sonoma feel—five stars!“
“Sauvignon Blanc is so tasty! Chilled with some good nibbles on a warm afternoon, lovely.
The hiking trail on the estate is 1.5hr. good hump up and down the hills and through the valleys. You'll be hungry and thirsty when you finish and may go directly on the wine. We loved the whole place. Our favorite in Sonoma.“

“Three Fat Guys is a Gem!! We are Packer Fans and our local winery (Red&White wine bar in Waunakee WI) recommended we go see them on our trip. What a Great decision. We were greeted by Jim McMahon (Yes that's right, not the bear though) He's the winemaker and has been doing it for over 25 years. The back patio area is very causal and comfortable for many people. Jim presented us many wines all very good. Our favorites were the Old Rail Cab, Lineman and the Sauv Blanc. Wines are reasonably priced, staff is great. Definitely a recommend.“
