“Another winery recommended we visit this winery in Sonoma because of it's story, culture, and quality. Six of us did and it did not dissappoint. Jimmy did a wonderful job of sharing the family history, as well as the history of the winery. He also recommended great wines for us to sample and consider for purchase. I'm glad we availed ourselves to learning about how our Mexican brothers worked the fields, learned the business and became and expert, purchased land, started his on winery, and served two U.S. Presidents (Obama and Bush) and the California Gov (Swarzenegger). “Great spot! It takes a little longer than others to get to as it’s very secluded but super nice. Got to drive around the vineyards and learn about the wine. Our host (Grant)
was great and make it an outstanding experience. Custom menus provided a nice personal touch to make the day feel special. They served some charcuterie which was excellent. Highly recommend.“

He guided us through the different kinds of soil, regions of grape growing and flavors. It was just perfect! “I tasted their wine Highway 12 in the Fairmont hotel as they give this bottle complementary in rooms, I was so impressed that found the winery online and researched it. So here is why- I lately super sensitive to wines especially reds - and if drink more than 1,5 glass I have a headache after most wines. This one didn’t give me any hangover and I indulged 3 glasses of it. Plus my hubby joined and loved it. You guys did an amazing job on the quality. “We happened upon Honrama Cellars by chance and we’re so happy we did! They were getting ready to close up and go home but let us in to try a glass of wine. What a fun visit that ended up being! “I had an absolutely incredible wine tasting experience here. This place feels like a remarkable art gallery in addition to being a winery. The staff provided personal explanations of the stunning designer artworks, which enhanced the experience. We enjoyed wine paired with exquisite dishes prepared by a Michelin chef. “We enjoyed our day on the trolley. The driver was personable and everyone got to know each other by the end of the day. The winery visits were hit or miss, but I suppose that just goes with subjective tastebuds. Overall, we have recommended this to anyone visiting the area as it’s a fun way to see Sonoma without having to worry about drinking and driving.“

“Very crowded on a Saturday night being one of the only wineries on the square open past 5PM. If you want to do a tasting visit earlier in the day, but stopping in for a glass of wine (as wine members too) was very enjoyable. They have a great outdoor space and snacks for purchase as a good pre-dinner stop.“
“This tasting room was suggested to us by a Sonoma native and we were not disappointed. The team took us in as a walk in from the cold winter rain and made the whole tasting extreme personable. We became members after our tasting with Zach and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the wine process. Angie also helped us with our entry and spritz before our tasting welcoming us in and explaining the wine making process. This is a gem of the Sonoma Plaza and I'd recommend this to any wine drinker.“
“Peter Cellars is such a quaint little winery! Tyler was our sommelier and was hilarious, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. Peter also came out to greet us during the tasting since he lives on the grounds. His 4 golden retrievers were the cherry on top for this tasting experience. I visited as part of the Edge of the Word tour (shoutout to Anya).“
“We had an amazing tasting experience with Andrew. He was able to accommodate a large group at short notice. The wines themselves were delicious - we took several bottles home. The merlot and pinot noir
were our favorites. Andrew’s commentary about the wines and his experiences in the industry kept us informed and entertained. The view from the top of the hill was gorgeous.“
“Must stop location! Kent and Lucy both helped make our time there very enjoyable.
Lucy greeted us as soon as we walked into the property, making us feel at home while Kent, our wine educator, prepared to show us around the property.
Kent is a phenomenal story teller and just a genuinely kind human being. Hearing the history of the property through his words was a great time.
After our tour, Lucy was very hospitable and helped us get set up with a cheese board (highly recommend) and a bottle of our favorite wine from the tour.
Both of these wonderful people made our time out at the winery very enjoyable and something we will look back fondly on.“

“Went for a wine tasting earlier this year and had an amazing time. Weather was great, we got a walk through tour of the facility where they explained their process and history. We even had free time to roam around the property for a bit, which I really liked. There was zero pressure to buy anything. All in all would go back and might even consider getting some of the wine.“

“We stumbled upon this place by complete chance and we were met with surprise after surprise. Who knew about Kamen’s history ! Maybe people do but we certainly didn’t. It was really interesting to learn about his past - starting all the way back in india in kashmir and ending at where he did - a winning screenplay writer and certainly a winning Cabernet for us! This was the best Cabernet we had in the region. Not overpowering yet so complex. Mark herold is a magician with his winemaking and Kamen himself is a magician given everything he touches turns to gold! Great stop. Andi hosted us at the tasting room and was a great story teller! We would highly recommend“

“This winery was the last of our 3 day trip. It was different than all the beautiful wineries we visited but well worth it. The "warehouse" atmosphere was cool and had a good vibe. Michael was great telling us about how he became a wine maker and explaining all the different varietals we tried. Would recommend for a different tasting experience.“
“I've been to wine region in California 3x, Texas 3x, and Virginia 2x. This is the first winery I've loved all the wine and the company Tyler provided walking us through the tasting. Literally 9 years of wine regions and finally got my first wine membership. I am so excited for these shipments going forward.
Not to mention 12/10 would pet their winery dogs during the Napa to Sonoma half each year.“

“I’ve been a member of Cliff Lede and several Wilson wineries, all of which I love, but this has become my favorite. I think Shane is an excellent winemaker and the variety of wines is amazing. I drink mostly reds (love especially the Hermit blend and blaufrankisch as well as the cab franc) but the Albariño white is excellent as well. The virtual tastings in the past two years have also been great introductions to the wines. Highly recommend.“

“Nicholson Ranch is a winery slightly “off the beaten” pass as you’re coming or going from Sonoma to Napa that offers Chardonnay and Pinot noir grown on their estate. Their Cabernet, which is source from Napa and is labeled under the name of the new owner. The tasting flight consists of five wine and is $50. If you buy four bottles or more they wave for tasting fee. The flight includes one Chardonnay, two Pinot Noirs,, a red blend and a Cabernet. The pinots are a bit earthy, musty, and cost around $95/bottle. These are not baby Cabernets. These are very European “Old world” style red wine. The estate is beautiful. There is a Greek church up on the hilltop built by the Nicholson family a while they own some of the land they sold of the winery. The tasting room is beautiful with a big window overlooking the hilltop and they actually play music that gives you the right ambience to just relaxing and enjoy the wine. Mike is a fantastic host and runs a fun and very educational enjoyable wine like podcast.“

He made it such a great experience. In fact, Aaron told him I usually don’t buy wine at tastings and I ended up buying 6 bottles. If you are in the area, Groupon or not, please reserve your wine tasting here, you won’t be disappointed.“

“My level of wine knowledge was very minimal to say the least (little to none). However, after visiting Eco Terreno Tasting Room back in November I have been on a journey to learn and understand more about wine and I truly owe it to all the knowledgeable staff here for starting me on my journey of discovering wine. Within 2 1/2 hours I truly had a better understanding of what inclusive wine culture is and how it is embodied in everything Eco Terreno has to offer. Plus the food pairing with wine, do not get me started. Let’s just say I will definitely be back for more wine and food. Oh and there is a parking garage right next door, truly what more could you ask for.“

“We are visiting Sonoma from Florida to celebrate our engagement and did a last minute impromptu visit to Buena Vista. Brandon hosted us for a tasting and was so laid back and personable. We ended up buying a bottle of the Count’s Revenge which was so phenomenal and smooth. The atmosphere is beautiful and all of their wine is delicious, but Brandon made it a very memorable and unforgettable experience. Best stop so far in Sonoma ❤️“
