“The wines were incredible! The vibes are overall very casual; as in, you can just walk in and start tasting. And the staff is amazing. Olivia walked me through the entire tasting experience like an expert, and was so friendly and helpful! Even got to meet the owner, who was kind and welcoming. Happy to have come by, and looking forward to visiting again!“
“the selection of wines paired with their cheeses and charcuterie was amazing!! Kara was lovely and amazing as well ! loved everything about my experience, would definitely come agian, and I joined the wine club .“
“The owner, Chris, is incredibly knowledgeable and always fun to talk to. Last week was my third tasting there and each time the service and wines have been excellent! Highly recommend!“
“Down to earth setting, casual and relaxing allowing for a great place to sit, enjoy wine and have a conversation. The Merlot is by far my favorite. As it has plenty of character, and an amazing finish.“
“Another winery recommended we visit this winery in Sonoma because of it's story, culture, and quality. Six of us did and it did not dissappoint. Jimmy did a wonderful job of sharing the family history, as well as the history of the winery. He also recommended great wines for us to sample and consider for purchase. I'm glad we availed ourselves to learning about how our Mexican brothers worked the fields, learned the business and became and expert, purchased land, started his on winery, and served two U.S. Presidents (Obama and Bush) and the California Gov (Swarzenegger). Oh, the wine is GREAT!“
“Our server Amanda was so personable and knowledgeable. Loved bonding over our shared love of music and the Beatles! Spinning vinyl while we sipped was such a vibe!! We also really enjoyed the wine, of course. Very drinkable! It was fun to learn about the different soils each wine grows in, as well, after asking a few questions. Would 100% come again if we’re ever in the area for another vacation.“
“The Carneros experience was incredible. Aaron was our guide and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable, funny, and personable. The way he paired the wines we had during the walk with some of the art we were seeing was such a unique touch and really showed how passionate he is about his job and the vineyard. We were blown away by the experience and so happy we did it!“
“This surpassed all expectations and felt like a dream. Stephen was an amazing tour guide. We started with an atv ride where we got to see more of the vineyard followed by a tour of the wine caves and followed by getting to check out their amazing inside facility. The wine, the atmosphere and the level of expertise shared was all out of this world!“
“Thank you for hosting me and my cousin with such wonderful hospitality ! We loved relaxing in the beautiful and welcoming garden. With so many brilliant and delicious wines to taste ! The food is excellent, the wines are delicious with interesting choices, the garden is beautiful and welcoming and the people putting it all together are the best part of it all ! Thank you !!!“
“Our favourite stop on our Sonoma wine tour! Jesse was pouring for us, and he was such a fantastic host. Friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience so much fun. We absolutely loved all the bubbles, and every wine we tried was incredible. Walt Wines is a must-visit! I highly recommend stopping in for a tasting, you won’t be disappointed.“
“This place is a must visit; albeit a young vineyard of just over a decade, produces some of the most dreamy vines over volcanic rock and with that stiff lower lip factor on the offing; gives a swift intense flavour on a bio diversified product.
The view is fantastic and the architecture is modern using rammed earth walls which look like cinderblock concrete sets!
A fireplace and seating made for the expanse of a king looking over his vast lands. Overall a beautiful setup with great service.
Definitely reccomend a second and a third visit.“
“I live in Toronto, Canada, and was first introduced to Schug Winery wines at our local wine stores about 10 years ago! We are currently unable to purchase California wines in Canada, and to have just recently been in Sonoma, SCHUG WINERY was my #1 choice to head to. My friend and I spent the afternoon with Theresa Blankenship (Estate Host) in their Tasting Room, sampling some of the BEST Pinot Noirs (amongst their Chardonnays, Cab/Savs) I've ever had the pleasure of tasting! Theresa's expertise, guidance, story-telling, and genuineness, gave us the experience of a lifetime in one afternoon!“
“The best winery in California! I would like to thank Don for making the visit spectacular he went out the way to greet us and he was so friendly. I highly recommend anyone who is looking to taste wine and check out the founder and history of wine in the US it’s very intresting.“
“I had a wonderful afternoon here. I didn't know what to taste, so I was guided by Kim who was so helpful and gave me a great tasting experience! The courtyard is beautiful with olive and lemon trees, just lovely. I highly recommend this winery experience!“
“There’s no better luxe wine experience than Corner 103 when visiting Sonoma. Voted one of the best tasting rooms in America, you are presented with a different wine glass for each varietal to enhance the flavor and aroma. For a very special occasion, select the food and wine paring experience. It’s worth the extra cost with a gourmet food parring unlike any other. This is one of the best wine clubs to join with their award-winning wine selection, distinctive events and personalized service.“
“Congratulations to this boutique winery! Their reds are smooth, pleasant and maturing. The story of passion and legacy will keep their production going for many years! Looking forward to returning.!“
“Celebrated my bday here. It was also my first time here! The staff super sweet, super helpful. Loved learning about the history of the place, really interesting. Foods paired well with the wines! Ended up buying two of the wines, should’ve bought more! Next time!“
“Such an intimate experience on a cold & foggy February morning! So glad I was able to get a coveted spot for tasting! Highly, highly recommend!“
“My friends and I had such a great time at Highway 12. Mike did our tasting and we all had such an incredible experience. He was very personable, gave a lot of good recommendations of other places to stop by to the point that we just scrapped our other plans and did our day Mike’s way and loved it! We really enjoyed all of the wines here and ended up leaving with four bottles. The outdoor seating area was lovely and perfect for a slightly chilly day. I’d definitely recommend starting your tasting day here.“
“Been here a couple times and each time was a lovely time. My friend invites us here and he puts together a brunch in the picnic area which is a pretty cool setup. And the Nicholson Ranch is such a beautiful property. And has great views.
I couldn’t tell you about if they served food or anything because each time we visited we would first do picnic brunch then wine taste. The wine is also lovely. They have great selection of wine but I loved the Pinot Noirs.
The service is awesome. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. I don’t know if our wine pourer was a sommelier but she had lots of stories about wine and the Ranch. Forgive me I didn’t write her name down but she was very nice and can keep great conversation.“
“I am a tour guide and everyone that I bring here loves the wine. He's basically a one man operation and puts in a lot of care into his product. I feel sorry for the wineries that we visit afterwards because hardly anyone buys from them.“
“Some of my favorite wine I drank in all of Sonoma County! Absolutely stunning wines. I especially loved their Carignan and Cab Sauv. Believe all the recommendations and make sure to book a tasting here! Truly lovely wines (and a cute little patio!). Thanks, Aiste, for being a wonderful guide to Bedrock’s portfolio. I can’t wait to return!“
“Great place to visit Great wine and food ❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻“
“My sweetie and I stopped by for the yummy wine and the overall lovely views! We were not disappointed!“
“We stumbled upon this place by complete chance and we were met with surprise after surprise. Who knew about Kamen’s history ! Maybe people do but we certainly didn’t. It was really interesting to learn about his past - starting all the way back in india in kashmir and ending at where he did - a winning screenplay writer and certainly a winning Cabernet for us! This was the best Cabernet we had in the region. Not overpowering yet so complex. Mark herold is a magician with his winemaking and Kamen himself is a magician given everything he touches turns to gold! Great stop. Andi hosted us at the tasting room and was a great story teller! We would highly recommend“
“★★★★★
Ricci Vineyards in Carneros is a gem. The setting is serene with wide vineyard views and a calm, unhurried feel. Our host was welcoming and truly knowledgeable, sharing vineyard history, farming details, and how the Carneros climate shapes the wines. The tasting was excellent from start to finish, with bright, elegant Pinot Noir, a crisp white that showed real lift, and balanced textures that made each pour memorable. It felt personal and genuine, the kind of visit where you slow down and really connect with the place.
Service was spot on, the wines were dialed in, and the experience felt thoughtfully curated without any fuss. Book ahead, give yourself time to linger, and enjoy the conversation as much as the glass in your hand. A perfect Carneros stop and an easy five stars.“
“Super fun tasting experience and the wines are like nothing I've ever had before in California. Hardey (the owner) walked me through the tasting and was super awesome to converse with, while educating me about the wines, the grapes, the techniques to making them, philosophy, everything.
Highly recommend this winery. The 2024 yeah! Was so so good, and Im still thinking about the orange wine.“
“A visit to Patz & Hall in Sonoma is a reminder of what makes small-lot, handcrafted wines so special. Nestled just off the beaten path near the Sonoma Plaza, the winery’s Sonoma House offers an elegant yet relaxed setting — a beautiful blend of contemporary design, natural light, and vineyard views that immediately set the tone for an intimate tasting experience.
The hospitality team was exceptional from the start: warm, engaging, and deeply knowledgeable about the wines and their vineyard partners. Our tasting was hosted on the patio overlooking the gardens — a serene, sunlit spot that perfectly matched the graceful character of their Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.“
“Delicious food, great for taking photos and relaxing, relaxed atmosphere“
“Amazing experience AJ is the best he will take care of all your needs. The wine is delicious Vino amazing glitzy views highlighting some of the best views in Sonoma County (many to be seen) spectacular bubbly and Cab. Location is splendid.
Food is coming and they are working on it .
Outdoor space is to die for.“
“My wife and I visited this beautiful, family owned and operated winery in March of 2026. The atmosphere setting, ambience, and wine are exactly what you would expect from a winery that takes pride in its history and product.
What set our experience apart from the multitude of other wineries, was the attention to client experiences and ensuring that we received attention to what we needed. This was especially true with our wine club membership. The value of their club is exceptional, along with the quality of wine you select.
You will not disappointed to visit this wonderful, unique, winery.“
“The wine doesn't taste good.
Probably because of European Italian wine, the taste is very bland, without layers, and very dry.
Except for the first glass of sparkling rose, which was okay, the rest of the red was not good.“
“I recently visited Ram’s Gate Winery for a bachelorette trip and had a fantastic time. The property is visually stunning, with breathtaking views and impeccable architecture. Our wine educator, Sonia, was absolutely exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and went above and beyond for our group. She did an excellent job at answering our many questions in terms and a metaphors that we could understand, and she absolutely enriched our experience. I will definitely be back!“
“Tom Was amazing! This was our first tasting on our first day in Sonoma and he made sure we were taken care of. He was also helpful with dining in the area. The outside patio was a great casual vibe and I would definitely recommend this place for any wine enthusiast!“
“My husband and I came here on the whim and we enjoyed ourselves more here than at the previous wineries we had been too. George was very knowledgeable and kind and very honest with us towards his favorites, his experience and he provided some great stories and made some excellent recommendations. I would highly recommend coming here! It was such a welcoming environment and we enjoyed every single moment of it! 😊“
“Excellent Pinot Noirs, Neil is terrific.“
“We biked to this winery as part of our birthday celebration! It was an absolute delight meeting Bill and hearing his story of being a certified organic winery. Let me just say wow! His wines are truly something special and his hospitality is second to none. Cheers Bill and thanks for the birthday cupcakes!!“
“Awesome tasting experience. Great wines“
“Wow, what a great find! We visited Ceja through Sonoma Bike Tours- and we had a fantastic time. My party is well versed in wine and well travelled- and we were impressed with our Ceja experience! The wine (especially the Chardonnay, red blend, and dessert wine) was consistently great. I highly recommend doing the wine tasting.Don’t miss out about learning about the family story, too!“
“I’ve been a member of Cliff Lede and several Wilson wineries, all of which I love, but this has become my favorite. I think Shane is an excellent winemaker and the variety of wines is amazing. I drink mostly reds (love especially the Hermit blend and blaufrankisch as well as the cab franc) but the Albariño white is excellent as well. The virtual tastings in the past two years have also been great introductions to the wines. Highly recommend.“
“Terrific wines. Many Pinots, Chards and Cabs.“
“My husband and I loved our tasting with Katy. She truly is a master vintner. Thank you for a memorable afternoon!!“
“An Amazing tour through Sonoma!! This trolley tour was charming and relaxing! So worth the price to taste such variety of Sonoma. Our driver Michael was sooo knowledgeable and accommodating for our party and the other people on the tour! Me and My Girl friends loved every minute! Delicious food and wine choices. Thank you for an Amazing experience!“

“After a great visit a few years ago, I’ve been a wine club member ever since. Can’t wait to make the trip out again to visit in person. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are my favorites, but I’ve loved every wine from TFG!
Go pack go!“
