“Wish we could give more than 5 stars! We visited Napa over the Labor Day weekend and toured a number of wineries. However, not a single one of them was as exceptional as our experience at Nickel & Nickel. The wine of course was dreamy, the grounds were beautiful, the wine making facilities amazing, the story of it's creation was awe-inspiring.....but what made this the best possible place to visit while in Napa, was MICHAEL! He really does have a passion for this. He was incredibly knowledgeable, wonderfully hospitable and it was such a pleasure to have him take us on our journey through Nickel & Nickel. Thanks so much, and we will be seeing you soon as NEW MEMBERS of this unbelievably charming winery.“

“We had a fantastic experience with Ghost Block as a tour stop with Platypus. The wines were amazing, and our host, Christian, did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the winery and the region, and teaching us about each pour. We’re very excited to drink the bottles we are bringing home with us!“

“My wife and I were fortunate enough to be accepted for a tasting for her 40th birthday celebration. Casey was our very knowledgeable guide on a tour of the property, history of the Harlan family, and tastings of the various vintages. The property is stunning. We loved the tasting room with the beautiful view of the valley. Of all the upscale tastings we did, this one felt the most exclusive and the wine was fantastic. Wish I could afford it on the regular!“

“We came for a comparison tasting here and it was fantastic. We were given generous pours of 2019 Alexander and Napa Valley cabs, and 2oz measured pours of the 2013 Alexander and Napa Valley cabs. Our correspondent Jaki was knowledgeable and helpful through our experience. We were also surprised with 1oz pours of the 2010 Alexander and the Timeless collection. We came at 1015 and it was an incredible start to the day. I will absolutely be back to do it all again. We also each recieved a Silver Oak glass (beautiful) and we were encouraged to taste the grapes from the vines near the parking lot.

“My favorite winery in Napa with my favorite wine I’ve ever tried (the 2018 Leo, all vintages are amazing!). Every single day trip I make to Napa since 2021, I’m sure to stop at Turnbull for a tasting. I adore this place, Grant and Oswaldo are stellar. So knowledgeable and friendly. They make the experience so far above any other winery I’ve been to. They’re willing to answer any and all questions and really deep dive into the wine. Couldn’t recommend this place more!“

“I have been to this winery 3 times. When I was 11 years old with my family, when I was 27 years old I went there again with my parents and when I was 47 I visited again by myself. This was the winery we first visited when we came to this country and lived at in Stanford, CA.“

“From the road the estate looks typical, but when you enter it is anything but! This is a little slice of paradise in Napa Valley! The Rudd family have created a wonderful winery! The grounds were thoughtfully laid out, the private tasting room overlooks a small pond with aquatic plants and water foul. The "workshop" is where the magic happens! This is a state of the art winery and no expense was spared. It is kept in immaculate condition. Jerome was a fantastic host and explained the history, the wine making process, and the flavor profiles of the wine. Thank you Jerome, we hope to see you again the next time we're in Napa!“
