The venue and the staff are so inviting and welcoming.We had a rather large group, and the owner was quick to help pull tables together and get us taken care of. I love seeing a staff that pays attention to details. We felt so well cared for!As for pizza, I shared a Detroit style and had a glass of rose. I wish the aioli had been on the side, but no big complaints. When some of my friends got their thin-crust, tavern-style pizza, I got jealous. Also recommend grabbing a pan dulce or pastry to enjoy with your coffee. Ambiance is homey, rustic and charming. Parking can be a bit challenging. Highly recommend!”

“Having spent 4 days with the family in Napa to enjoy the fine dining and wine, I can honestly say this was the best dining experience we had. This is not only a restaurant but a farm to table experience. Before dinner we strolled the grounds and saw the gardens, chickens, and vineyards which supply the restaurant. The food was excellent and the attention to detail was evident in every dish. This was elevated dining and not just eating good food. The waitstaff were excellent and attentive but not intrusive. This place is a must for any visit to the Napa region. Plan to get there early to give yourself time to stroll the grounds.”

“Our evening at Kenzo was absolutely wonderful. The restaurant was wonderfully simple and pleasantly quiet. Every bite of every dish was thoughtful, flavorful, and delicious. The premium wine and sake pairing was completely worth it - so many fun and luscious selections.Without question, the best part of the meal was that we had the privilege of being served by Tomonori, who we later learned is the General Manager. He was a joy. He explained each course in perfect detail and answered every question we could think of. He made us excited to try each new dish - which of course greatly enhanced each individual taste and the overall experience.Highly recommended. Will definitely return!”

“Great BBQ! It's a diner in the bowling alley, you have to order at the counter, but that's not a problem for us. I'm not sure why they aren't spotlighting their BBQ but it was delicious. Several of us had the sliders and with the coleslaw on top and extra BBQ sauce, they were amazing. My husband had the 3 meat plate and it was a nice sized portion for a big eater. Seemed reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Go try it!”

“My wife and I went here for a late afternoon tasting. We really enjoyed this place as it has a very old world Spanish feel to it. The gardens are stunning, and if you book ahead of time, and can do your tasting in the family home, it is well worth it. This venue have a 90 year old sequoia tree, beautiful flowering gardens, a well rounded veggie garden, beautiful fountains, and birds that are constantly chirping/singing. My wife and I did the cheese and wine tasting, but I know this venue also has a garden meal & tasting, which from looking around at our fellow wine goers, also looked very tasty. Great Experience, especially if you are an outdoor lover.”
“I’m here in Napa celebrating my birthday and had a tasting booked, the week before my tasting I got a call and Stephanie apologized that they’d be closed for renovations but would reach out to a neighboring tasting room to see if they would hold our tasting which we agreed. We then heard from Scott who let us know the details of our tasting location right across the street. Upon arrival at Gambling McDuck Scott greeted us and our tasting began just before Erin stopped by our table to introduce herself as well. As a bubbles person the tasting did not disappoint as we told Scott we’d let him take the reigns of choosing our flight not only was the champagne amazing with getting to try a new champagne but I can’t say enough about how great Scott was we felt like we were just talking to an old friend while the next time I come to Napa I’ll try some different experiences I’ll definitely be back for BeBubbly!!”

“Leo was our server. He was by far, the best, most easy going server we've had after coming here so many times the past year. The food was good. I still think hands down one of the best pork chops I've ever had, it was moist and delicious. If you crave something salty and sweet (the fruitetta sauce), do you taste buds a favor and get the pork chop plate. The potatoes were so crispy. My boyfriend ordered the gnocchi, and that's his go-to dish. We went around 3pm so the place was pretty empty, but from past experiences it gets really busy so reservation is a must.”
“Local burger diner spot with good food, nice peeps and an excellent value. Located inside a local strip mall, with a couple of outdoor tables, about half a dozen tables inside and old fashion counter seating. Parking was plentiful on Saturday afternoon. We got a couple of their regular cheeseless burgers with various toppings, wanting to checkout how good they really are without over the top cheese skirt. The order was ready with 5-10 minutes paying at their order area. Made to order fresh ground beef and very fresh sesame seed bun with enough body to hold up the juicy slab of perfectly crusted ground cow. A perfect meat to bun ratio, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onions; all dressed in mayo, mustard and a pickles. Pro-tip...wrap the burger in one of the napkins to keep the juice from your shirt and hang on to the burger keep it from falling apart as you devour. Leaving the other hand for fries and beverage. It's pretty savage to eat with two hands but this meal deserves it. Fries are washed and double fried with a crisp bite. You know what I'm talking about. Soda fountain in back with a bottled beer assortment including drafts in the front...did I mention they have an happy hour special? We dropped but over 30 for two burgers, drink, a beer and large fries...real food for real people ducats. Proof that five star places, like the ones up and across the highway...including the other popular burger spot with two outlets nearby...you don't need a fat wallet and hype to get great meal.”

“We were in town for an annual work conference and were very pleased with this restaurant. The location in downtown Napa was great, and there is public parking (on street and free in a public garage) adjacent to the building. It felt like a fun, safe location and the downtown vibe was fun. The food was great - good variety, cooked exactly to our liking and the drinks were SO good! The blood orange margarita was to die for! Our server was very friendly, service was quick and efficient and prices were very reasonable for the quality. Everything was clean, including the restrooms. We will definitely be back next year. We had a perfect weather day, but the Legacy Experience provided great food and champagne to enjoy as we traveled through the vineyards on both sides of the track.We stopped at two vineyards, Charles Krug (operated by the Mondavi family now) and the V. Sattui winery. Both provided tasting of absolutely wonderful wines, a broad variety if white, rose, and reds. The service on the train quickly attended to every one of our desires.Whether you share my love of trains, or also share my love of great wines, the Napa Wine Train is a great experience!”

“Went to Napa impromptu and hubby found this little gem! We went during happy hour and sat at the bar. Our bartender Ashley was super nice and can pour a drink! The ambiance was very sleek, contemporary, and modern. It was very beautiful.Now let’s get to the fun part! We ordered Mac n’cheese, calamari & veggies, chicken kebab wrap, branzino, and the lamb plate. Let me just say that each dish was prepared beautifully. But, the flavors, oh my God, THE FLAVORS! The calamari was lightly battered and fried to perfection. No oily taste or residue. Came with a beautiful spicy aioli. The Mac and cheese…whew they are using some aged cheddar, Gouda, and Parmesan for real! Creamy and tasty! The chicken wrap pita was soft and sweet while the chicken was perfectly grilled and seasoned plus the Greek potatoes were bomb! The lamb plate was the least fav but still very delicious. But, honey that branzino was cooked to perfection in a light lemon butter sauce with the most flavorful cauliflower, carrots, and Brussel sprouts yummy!Ashley asked if we wanted dessert and I couldn’t resist. We ordered the chocolate baklava with vanilla bean gelato and DAMN, PERFECTION!It was an amazing dining experience! I never eat leftovers the next day and I ate these and it was just as good the next day! Put this on your list of restaurants to go to in Napa!Definite recommend!”

We had an absolutely amazing time and Skip was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the vineyards history and wines we were tasting. It had a lovely, more family run, feel to it and Hendry was definitely our favourite winery of the ones we visited. We will definitely have to visit again next time we’re over in the States.”

We had an absolutely amazing time and Skip was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the vineyards history and wines we were tasting. It had a lovely, more family run, feel to it and Hendry was definitely our favourite winery of the ones we visited. We will definitely have to visit again next time we’re over in the States.”

The sides were smaller than expected but were good. In my personal preference, I thought the all food was quiet salty. At the end of dinner, they did offer a small cheesecake which was nice. Overall, I think this place is just okay. The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere but keep in mind that parking could be difficult.”

“This review is for Faz's tremendous pizza as well as their LUNCH SPECIALS! This welcoming, family-run spot has stood the test of time for good reason. Their pizzas reflect the care and quality ingredients that are part of their business and that they obviously take pride in. I have tried BBQ Chicken pies at other places and they come up short, all their pizzas are excellent but there is something special about that combination that hits all the notes for me. it has great "heft" per slice, also, which adds to the good value proposition. There is something welcoming and very pleasing about heading in there and seeing families and sports teams young and older enjoying the place, sports on the TV's, kids beseeching their adults for some more quarters and playing the arcade games in the rooms dedicated to the machines so as not to impose on the bigger space, older teams with pitchers and great heavy glass mugs laughing about one thing or another, the employees hustling around and working hard and seemingly enjoying themselves and being part of a solid team with managers/owners that have done every job themselves and know the place inside and out. Lunch times are also fun, if less crowded, and provide one of the best values in Napa! Personal sized pizzas, AYCE Salad Bar options (lots of fresh ingredients to add to your various lettuces), drinks, wings, and other options abound and it's a nice place to relax, spread out, and enjoy at an unrushed pace. I must also mention that I recently had a question/very minor quibble and I used their CONTACT US button on the website and Chelsea got back to me immediately and helped me resolve my request kindly and professionally, and that means a lot to me. I remain a steadfast fan and am happy to sing the praises of an honorable business that gives you your money's worth with delicious food and a feeling of welcome and warmth!”

The calamari was lightly battered and fried to perfection. No oily taste or residue. Came with a beautiful spicy aioli. The Mac and cheese…whew they are using some aged cheddar, Gouda, and Parmesan for real! Creamy and tasty! The chicken wrap pita was soft and sweet while the chicken was perfectly grilled and seasoned plus the Greek potatoes were bomb! The lamb plate was the least fav but still very delicious. But, honey that branzino was cooked to perfection in a light lemon butter sauce with the most flavorful cauliflower, carrots, and Brussel sprouts yummy!Ashley asked if we wanted dessert and I couldn’t resist. We ordered the chocolate baklava with vanilla bean gelato and DAMN, PERFECTION!It was an amazing dining experience! The Cabs ranged from highly concentrated (sourced from Napa Valley floor) through Old World style (sourced from northern Napa). Linda explained everything about this winery and its fine wines. “We have driven past this place off of hwy 37 many times. Today, we stopped to eat. Well worth it. We ordered the Gumbo, bicuits and an order of Brussel Sprouts. First of all the honey / cinnamon butter for the biscuits is very addicting. They make it there. The place is tucked away and very quiet outside, even with the close proximity to the busy highway. But let's talk food and drink: yup, the frose' is worthy of the hype. The strawberry was my favorite, but the frozen gin and tonic was really nice too- a really good balance of herbal and sweet, with a touch of mint. But I was really impressed that the bar stocked a Hendry Albarino- not usually available outside of the winery. Food was great too! My arugala salad was delicious as was my husband's roasted chicken sandwich on Model Bakery focaccia- yum! I'd suggest reservations as this is in the Oxbow Market which can get crowded.”

“I was SUPER excited to see this new burger spot pop up in the plaza. They took over the old Q BBQ spot, situated in the same plaza as Whole Foods, Trader Joes, OSH Hardware (you get the idea). wts -- you'll know what a pain in the behind it can be sometimes to get in here, it's always busy and there's parking but shiesh, come w/ patience, especially if it's the weekend. Tried their burger and chicken sandwich, both of which taste extremely good. Freshly made w/ unlimited amounts of pickles (they make their own!). They do use brown sugar for their lemonades, which was my first time trying it. At first I was like WT Southern F is this. I had to get use to it. It's still just aight imo. Tried the strawberry lemonade to see if there was a "difference," idk why, lol, there's wasn't any difference other than it had strawberries in it haha. I'd still get it, it was good. I wasn't a fan of their garlic fries, but the kid smashed through those like their life depended on it. All in all, this spot made it to my regular rotation when fast food calls. They have indoor and outdoor seating. You can order through the kiosk or go to the counter to talk to a human. Always friendly, well this location .. I'll have to do another review for another location I went to. Calm down, it was cool there too.”

“We visited Napa from Southern Oregon and dined here early, just before 5pm. My husband is a Korean War Veteran and I' a couple decades younger. He had his favorite: braised short ribs and I couldn't resist one of my top temptations: scallops (new diet be damned!). The food was wonderful and the young lady server was attentive and helpful without hovering. The maitre d', in honor of my husband's war service, arranged a special surprise for us to accompany a surprise dessert. The seating and layout worked well for us, as my man uses a transport wheelchair for distance but sits normally at the table--but he does need a nook or edge of the room for hearing. Napa Valley Bistro has it all; room for big gatherings, and romantic corners and service to die for.”

It was my first time havingHawaiian pizza and I loved it, the pepperoni one was nice and crispy and with a nice amount of pepperoni. I also ordered a dessert which doesn't say in the menu is a tiny little piece of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory (that is nice) but not if it's going to be that tiny. I Also got the wrong flavor. Definitely will be ordering again soon :)”

We ended up choosing the 2020 B. Wise Trios Cabernet Sauvignon and was not disappointed! We were warmly greeted by our server Maurice who was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the wines.Maurice took the time to explain the background of each wine and provide pairing suggestions for our tasting flight. He has a great passion for the wines produced at Stags Leap that really shone through. The tasting room itself was beautifully designed and the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the award-winning Cabernet Sauvignons.The wines did not disappoint - they were complex, balanced and showed the terroir beautifully. Maurice also recommended the perfect wines to take home based on our preferences.It was one of the most memorable wine tasting experiences we have had. “My wife and I went to have lunch prior to seeing a performance at the Blue Note. Conveniently located two blocks away from the venue. Menu prices are slightly on the high side but comparable to downtown Napa. Great music, bathrooms were clean, no debris anywhere. The food was good, the waitress was great. However, the only downside is when we were packing up our leftover food to go. The busboy, instead of bringing boxes to the table for us to pack, he took our food and packed it in the kitchen. The problem was I left mashed potatoes on my plate with a piece of chicken. He threw away the potatoes and boxed the chicken. Needless to say, when I got home to eat my leftovers, I was angry the busboy tossed my potatoes. Will I patronize this restaurant again, definitely! Will I let anyone box up my leftovers...definitely NOT!”

“Surprisingly Excellent! If you are far away, it’s worth the drive. It may seem pricey for a cafe, but it’s actually a high end restaurant in a casual clean cafe environment. We had the Chilaquiles and the avocado toast with salmon and both plates had beautiful presentation and they came to the table faster than Starbucks heats a danish for you. I did not take pictures because we just couldn’t wait to dive in. Oh, and the baked goods looked so amazing we bought some to go. The team there were super pleasant, calm, and efficient. I highly recommend.”

“I highly recommend the Sole special (w/mash pot, spinach), the saffron pasta w/wild mushroom, and the mushroom ravioli. Paired with savignon blanc. I'm sure adding a meat only heightens the dish. For the wife's bday, we sat 3 plus a baby outside towards winter's end. I wish the wind guards were more secure, but... great place otherwise. There's an exclusive experience in "the vault" (building used to be a bank) that I'm sure makes you feel like a $ million bucks. The blackberry cabernet sorbet for the birthday girl was a hit. Everything was extremely tastely, we shared everything Italian family style. Who wants to get locked into one dish?”

It is a criminal offence to not order the Italian donuts. The New York strip steak was excellent, as were the maple syrup drenched brussel sprouts. “Im a big sports fan so it was really cool they play sports on the tv. When the lakers game got to the fourth quarter they started playing the sound from the game. It was a very chill vibe and the host was very nice. The couches are extremely comfortable and it feels home-e. Th reason why i have it one less star because the wine wasn't that good and it was expensive. I'd rate the wine a 2/5 but because i like the sports vibe so much and the customer service was great that's what brought my rating up”

“We had the most wonderful dinner experience at La Toque. The food was exquisite - every dish was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. But it was the service that really made our meal outstanding.Our servers Maria and Samantha were so attentive and knowledgeable. They could clearly tell we were celebrating something special and really went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. Maria knew all the details about each dish and recommended perfect wine. They also had great suggestions based on our tastes.It was clear Maria and Samantha truly cared about giving us the best possible experience. They paid close attention to every detail, from refilling waters to clearing empty plates promptly. We felt like we were the only table in the whole restaurant! La Toque is clearly doing something right to have such engaged, passionate servers on their team.”

We were gonna leave her tips but in cash. Just be careful, guys. Don't let the cashier take away the card reader and press any button for you.”

“I recently dined at The Grove for the first time this past weekend, and I must commend our server, Betsy, for her exceptional service. Betsy demonstrated an impressive level of attentiveness by meticulously guiding my fiancé and me through the entirety of the menu, providing thorough descriptions of each dish. Her detailed explanations almost allowed us to savor the flavors before even tasting the food. To start our meal, we followed Betsy's recommendation and indulged in the Honeynut Squash Zeppole, delicately coated in powdered sugar, which I would rate 8 out of 10. The dish offered a perfect balance of sweetness, complementing the latte I ordered. Meanwhile, my fiancé opted for the Tomato-Baked Eggs with sautéed garden brassicas and grilled focaccia toast, also earning an 8 out of 10. She particularly enjoyed the dish, although she prefers her egg yolk to be more runny. Additionally, she savored the Brown Sugared Bacon-Style Guanciale (9/10) and Fried Potatoes with Chili Oil and Garlic Aioli (10/10), both of which she found exceptionally delicious. For my main course, I selected the Truffled Egg Scramble with Fried Potatoes, Brown Sugar Bacon-Style Guanciale, and Chives, which I would rate 8 out of 10. This dish proved to be a solid brunch option, showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. Overall, while the food at The Grove was indeed enjoyable, it was the impeccable service provided by Betsy that truly elevated our dining experience. For the entree we got the tomahawk steak to share with mac n cheese & mushrooms for the side. The tomahawk steak was medium rare and cooked to my liking. The sides were smaller than expected but were good. In my personal preference, I thought the all food was quiet salty. At the end of dinner, they did offer a small cheesecake which was nice. Overall, I think this place is just okay. The restaurant itself had a nice atmosphere but keep in mind that parking could be difficult.”

This is not only a restaurant but a farm to table experience. Before dinner we strolled the grounds and saw the gardens, chickens, and vineyards which supply the restaurant. The food was excellent and the attention to detail was evident in every dish. This was elevated dining and not just eating good food. The waitstaff were excellent and attentive but not intrusive. This place is a must for any visit to the Napa region. Plan to get there early to give yourself time to stroll the grounds.”
